This two-story home is located on the east side of The Dalles, just over two miles from the center of town. It's the perfect home base for hiking, biking, and taking scenic drives, with the full splendor of the Gorge easily accessible to the east. Hike Coyote Wall and Mosier Plateau (18 miles), spend a day windsurfing and orchard-hopping in Hood River (25 miles), or visit The Dalles Dam (three miles) and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center (eight miles) closer to home.

Wherever your days take you, this bright, updated home is a delight to return to. The open, window-lined living space is upstairs on the second floor, bringing together a polished kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breezy dining area, and a comfortable living room with a TV. You never need take your eyes off the view, whether you're sharing snacks at the island breakfast bar or curling up on the sofa for a good movie.

Bring each evening to a close outside on the ground-floor patio, where you can marvel at star-filled skies. There's one bedroom on the ground floor (with direct patio access), an additional sleeping space adjoining the garage, and two bedrooms upstairs, including one with a desk workspace overlooking the river. Central air, complimentary WiFi, and a washer/dryer are on hand as well.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
