Wedding stay in Plymouth

The location was perfectly located about a mile from the wedding venue, so convenient! House was beautiful, beds were comfortable, plenty of space for relaxing. Decks were great. House was well supplied. Only negative was the driveway. Luckily we had 4-wheel drive vehicles that could make it up. Cars were not able to get up the driveway.

Steer Clear: Avoid This Condo Nightmare!

Our experience with this rental in Plymouth, MA, was extremely disappointing. Before we even arrived, we reached out to the owner for check-in instructions and found out that the property had been double-booked. This was incredibly stressful, especially since we discovered the issue at the last minute. Leading up to our stay, the owner was not responsive when we asked questions the week before. When the double-booking issue arose, communication did not improve. We went back and forth a few times, but the owner kept insisting it was VRBO's issue, showing no willingness to help resolve the situation. This lack of professionalism and responsiveness was unacceptable. We were left scrambling to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, which was both time-consuming and costly, ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. I would strongly advise against booking this property. The owner’s unhelpful and dismissive attitude made a stressful situation even worse. Book at your own risk.

I am terribly sorry this has caused disappointment and inconvenience for you. My house is listed in both Airbnb and VRBO, their calendars are always coordinating with each other’s website. I do not know why VRBO’s website did not show the dates are not available. I am working with VRBO to ensure that it will not happen again in the future.

Thanksgiving and Tow

As an avid traveling family and User of hotels,time share owner, and VRBO member, we have stayed in all types of accommodations. Thanksgiving has been a sort of throw a dart at the map and choose a bucket list type of adventure. This year we stumbled across the Story of First Thanksgiving Dinner in Plymoth Massachusetts. We decided to go with the spacious VRBO house over a hotel with pool. We made contact and the reservation process was standard. The host was cordial and feiendly. The pictures looked great. The one tidbit was the mention of a slippery drivway leading up to the house. The host asked if we had SUVs and we did. Not thinking anything more of it we notified the owner we would be arriving in the early AM of Thanksgiving. Upon arriving we went up a steep incline covered with leaves and it was raining. What we were not prepared for was the craters. One SUV bottomed out and became stuck. It was so bad we needed to get a wrecker not standard tow truck to to basically lift the vehicle out of the embankment. We notified the host and were told told thanks for letting us know.. The property was pretty but aged. It was difficult to figure out lights and what switches actually controlled. The heat was off. I have had considerate hosts leave the lights on , and heat/ac on. The host is in it for profit and not basic guest accommodation. The rental comes with itemized lists like extra trash fees per bag. The host should consider customer service. It is one to avoid
