Whether you're coming to Bend to ski, hike, raft, or just to get some well-deserved R&R, “Snow Place Like Home” has you covered! It is a gorgeous, third (and top!) floor condominium with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay here in Central Oregon. This cozy, recently updated unit comfortably sleeps four guests in two separate sleeping areas and has two full bathrooms. There is a patio off of both the bedroom and the living room, giving you plenty of opportunities to sit out with a cold beer from one of our local breweries while watching the sunset. Come back inside to kick back on the couch and watch something on the Smart TV, whip up a delicious meal in the full kitchen, and enjoy complimentary WiFi! Oh, and just when you thought it couldn't get better - we're here to let you know that our location is the best you could ask for! Within a 5 minute walk from your front door is the public river trail and Pioneer Park where you can stroll alongside the Deschutes while taking in the sights. 10 more minutes upstream will lead you straight into the downtown area, which hosts some of the best restaurants and breweries in town! If you are looking for a home away from home, you won't find anything better than this! After all, there is “Snow Place like Home”!

This was an excellent stay! The space was ready and clean when we arrived. The kitchen was equipped with the necessities needed to cook some of our own meals. We really enjoyed how close to everything this location is. It made it very easy to drive ourselves or take an Uber/Lyft. Would stay here again.

Staycation

I stayed at this property to get a little Staycation for myself. Overall I had a great experience! The condo is in a great location, close to downtown and the Deschutes River. The condo itself has nice updated features, including the oven, bathrooms and Smart TV. I did appreciate that the host offered complementary Netflix and Hulu, a printer, and that the unit was stocked well with towels, toilet paper and dish soap. My main concern was the cleanliness. The mirrors in the unit were splattered with a sticky residue and the showers had some hair & foot prints. Some of the dishes weren’t cleaned as well and there were some utensils missing, like tongs and wisks. I did email the Property Manager and let them know that I would be getting to the condo late, so they could take however much time they needed to clean the unit. These concerns did not ruin my stay at all and I would still consider staying at this unit again if I wanted. It is very beautifully decorated, has lots of light, a comfortable bed and I enjoyed my stay very much.

This was the worst

From start to end this was a disappointment!! We started out from our home on the 14th of July. We first messaged the location if we could get an early check in. Some times they do and sometimes they don’t have is available. This was not the problem. The problem was they never responded to us either way. On top of that we never recieved our arrival email to check in to the property. I also went to office to see if they had ever send us the email for check-in which they did not. So it took my wife and extra 1 1/2 just to get in the room. So once she got into the room. The room smelled and there was still garbage in all of the garbage cans! Once my wife and son got settled in to the room my son asked if we could use the pool. We went to back to the office and they said if we have a red lanyard in the room we could use the pool. Which I have a picture of from the room. We also recieved a text message with a map of the pool and how to use use it. The disappointing issue that I have why send us this information of pool accessibility for us if we can’t use it. Myself and I’m older son came into bend on Saturday night to stay and watch my 13 year old son play his last day in the lacrosse tournament for Sunday. Once we got here we knew that my 2 sons would not be able to use and share the hidaway couch together. The couch folds out to a twin of a full which ever is right below a queen size. This should not be advertised as 4 adults can sleep here it should be 3 at most.
