Sward Shack - Beautiful waterview

Come smell the salty ocean air and enjoy the warm sand between your toes at the Sward Shack! This home features 4 bedrooms and 3 and half baths. There are balconies on the front as well as on the back of the home. Pool is located directly across from the townhome. One bedroom is on the first floor with a queen bed and full bath. Upstairs you have a queen bedroom with a Jack and Jill bath connecting to a bedroom with a twin over full bunkbed. Also upstairs is the primary bedroom with balcony and full bath.

This home also has a one car garage. Around the side of the home you will find a fence gate that leads to the back patio and outdoor shower to rinse off sand and salt from your time at the beach. 2 parking spaces available.

Unit is located on the second row from the beach so there is limited view of the ocean from the balcony.

Adjacent to beach access just across the street for easy access (short, easy walk from unit with a crosswalk that has button to stop traffic) taking you directly to the beach.

You can also enjoy a short walk to the sound side of the island! A public boat ramp and sound front fishing pier are located just within 3 blocks.

The community also features a brand new playground for children and a large grassy field to enjoy.

Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Short drive to the Morehead City waterfront, historic downtown Beaufort, NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Fort Macon State Park and Atlantic Beach Town Park that includes splash pad, playground, outdoor skateboard park and snack bar.

Located in the beach community of Seaside Villas.

Great for families

Great location for beach and pool! Lots of local playgrounds and splash pads for young families in the area. The house provided everything needed and more!

Great Location and Highly Functional Layout!

Great location and highly functional layout. We've stayed at many Townhomes in the same neighborhood and the Sward Shack by far is the most functional, family friendly unit.

Perfect family vacation spot!

Hurricane Debby tried to ruin our vacation, but staying at this gorgeous home, with a great location, made it great. A quick walk across the street and an even quicker walk to the pool helped us enjoy our family time in between splashes of rain!! Our family members ranged from ages 4 - 90 and the home worked well for all of our needs. We all said that we wanted to stay here again for our next A.B. Vacation!!

Great house, perfect location. Nice decor, comfy beds and plenty of space for 6 people. Property mananger very responsive and nice. Easy access to pool and beach. Would definitely recommended. Only suggestion...they need more wine glasses! 🍷☺️

Great family vacation at the Sward Shack!

We had a great stay at the Sward Shack. Check in was a breeze. The property manager was very responsive when I sent her a message the day of check in. All of the beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect. We’ve stayed in other units in the neighborhood before but loved the quick walk (10 seconds) to the pool and how clean and nicely decorated this unit was. The walk to the beach was easy even with our toddlers. Thank you for all the great family memories, we hope to be back next year.

Amazing Stay at Sward Shack!

We loved staying at this property! It was even more beautiful than the pictures. There was plenty of room to spread out and each bedroom/bathroom were so nice! We loved eating breakfast and reading on the balconies (facing both pool and beach). Everything was very clean and ready for us. The location within the complex was perfect…15 second walk to the pool and 3-4 minute walk to the beach. The pool was fantastic and never too crowded. It was one of the best pools we’ve had on vacation…simple, but big enough, very clean, and we loved the small chairs that could sit in the expansive shallow ledge. The road out front can be pretty busy and you can only see a peek of the ocean from the property, but those are the only downsides. Crossing the street to the beach was super fast and easy every time! It is probably the best vacation home we’ve stayed in and will definitely stay here again if we’re back in Atlantic Beach!

It was very clean and it was set up very nicely with plenty of room and very close to everything you could want to do. The pool is awesome. The kids loved it. The walk to the beach is not bad at all. The property manager was very helpful and nice. The check in and check out process was so easy. We were very satisfied with our stay there and would definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend it to any of my family and friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was in town fishing in the Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament and my wife, 2 daughters (14 and 18), along with two friends decided to come the second half of the week. We rented this property based on location, space, cleanliness, proximity to the pool and short 3 minute walk across the street to the ocean. Don't hesitate to stay in Sward Shack, it will not disappoint. We have traveled extensively and Sward Shack exceeded our expectations on each of the things we were looking for. My wife is extremely picky there with cleanliness and Sward Shack exceeded the cleanliness standard as well. Communication and responsiveness from property manager Magan was quick and professional. She even went above and beyond by making a quick trip to Best Buy to replace a broken remote control to the upstairs TV. We had some initial concerns that the main road might be too noisy but it was certainly not the case at all. There are some views of the ocean from both balconies which was nice as well. The only caution I would give to anyone considering to rent this property is if there are issues with walking up and down stairs. That wasn't a problem at all for us. Lastly, the single car garage was nice to have a place for a landing zone with beach chairs, coolers, etc. A few beach games, chairs and towels are provided which helps with packing. A nice brand new grill is also located at the property, and although we didnt use it during this stay, it was a nice touch by the owners/property management. We wouldn't hesitate to stay a Sward Shack in the future and we are even considering purchasing a personal unit in Seaside Villas.
