Welcome to the High Point Hideaway - our stunning 3-bedroom cabin in the woods, where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in some much-needed relaxation. Nestled in a peaceful and secluded location, our cabin is the perfect retreat for families, couples, or friends looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay. As you step inside, you`ll immediately be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of our cabin. The spacious living room boasts a beautiful stone fireplace that`s perfect for cozying up with a good book or enjoying a movie with your loved ones. And if you`re looking for some extra relaxation, the cabin also features a luxurious hot tub where you can soak away your stress and unwind.



Our cabin features three comfortable bedrooms, each with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, the second bedroom features a queen-sized bed, and the third bedroom has a double bed. All bedrooms are equipped with high-quality linens and plenty of storage space for your belongings.



The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals, and the dining area is ideal for enjoying them with your loved ones. You`ll find all the necessary appliances and utensils you need to cook up a storm, including a stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator.



Outside, you can enjoy the serene beauty of the woods and take in the fresh air. Our cabin is located on a spacious and private lot, so you`ll have plenty of space to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you`re looking to take a peaceful stroll through the woods or simply relax on the porch and enjoy the scenery, our cabin has everything you need for a memorable and rejuvenating stay.

Had an awesome time staying here! Kyle was super quick with responses to any question that I had. The cottage was beyond what we expected. Had everything you could ever need when it comes to entertainment and stuff to do around the cottage. Highly recommend this place had a blast!

Stunning!

This couldn't have been a more smooth and laid out process for booking. Everything was so simple, and communication with the host was quick, easy, and pleasant. When we got to the cottage, it exceeded our expectations and felt so much like a home away from home. Very clean, well equipped with everything we could need and more. The area is beautiful and quiet yet still so close to a grocery store and ammenities. We absolutely adored the hot tub as well!

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Cabin is very cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub was awesome! Really appreciated the extra spices and kitchen supplies of paper towels, soap, plastic bags etc... the coffee set up was great. The only reminder needed is to bring your own wood for the fireplace. Hike at Balsam Lake Prov. Park was amazing.

Quiet family getaway!

We had a magical time relaxing and enjoying Highpoint Hide Away! The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. It is the perfect place to take the family for an escape to nature with all the amenities of home.

Many thanks to Kyle for showing such wonderful hospitality! This space has everything you need for an enjoyable stay away from the hustle & bustle of the big city. It's cozy, comfortable & clean! We especially enjoyed the fireplace, hottub and large deck - great for socializing or for quiet reflection. Kyle was quick to respond and attentive to our needs. Thanks again!

Great Stay

We had a lovely time relaxing and soaking in the hot tub. This is a quiet spot with three decks and a fire pit area offering plenty of options for outdoor seating in sun or shade. The beach is quite a hike down the road and while exceptionally well suited to young children with a very nice playground and shallow, gently sloping beach, it’s very small and not really meant for adults. The home is nice, very clean, and has a very well-equipped kitchen with some unexpected touches like an ice machine and popcorn maker. It’s an older home so unsurprisingly, the stairs are quite steep, but we did not have any problems navigating them. Kyle was a terrific host, checking in with us to be sure everything was going smoothly and sending additional info by email. And that hot tub… ahhhh… so nice!!!

Quick couples weekend

Took a short trip up to High Point Hideaway with my husband, our dogs, and another couple. We had zero complaints, we only wish the water was located right on the property although the beach itself is VERY close so it is not a necessity. Beautiful cottage and a nice quiet road - we had no safety issues with our dogs running around and exploring. The place is fully stocked with essential and non essential items - there are even yoga mats there. This place really has everything you need for a great getaway!

Unsafe and overcost

Overvalued property with poor maintenance and dangerous for people's safety. The ladder does not meet Canada's safety standards. It's a shame they offer it. My wife fell down the stairs because she didn't comply with the regulations, and we ended up in the hospital. Do not fall into the trap.

Nice getaway

Very nice cabin to get away and relax. Exceptionally well stocked and outfitted - didn’t get a chance to use the bread maker or popcorn machine! Maybe next time because it’s worth another visit.

The Perfect Getaway

This place is just as advertised. Clean, quaint, serene. We were impressed right from the start. Exactly what we were looking for, and Kyle was super responsive to all questions. We extended our stay because we didn't want to leave. They've done a great job providing a place with the perfect combination of rustic cottage and contemporary amenities. We'll definitely be coming back.

Wonderful weekend

This was exactly the weekend we were looking for to enjoy the sounds of nature. This property is nicely secluded and there is plenty of privacy to enjoy the wooded backyard. The beach across the way was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the lake. The hosts have really thought of everything in the cabin. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (although only 1 baking tray if you're planning on using the oven). The indoor fireplace was so cozy and we really enjoyed the Bluetooth sound system and record player. The hot tub is very clean and stays very hot! It's in the perfect spot for enjoying the trees and watching the woodpeckers. The outdoor area is also well lit at night! The location is very close to Indian Point provincial park for some hiking and there's a Foodland on the way. All the local people in the neighborhood were very friendly! We hope to return one time soon!

Girls weekend

Just spent the weekend at this fabulous place. Very clean, spacious cottage. Kitchen had all you could ask for.. even a popcorn maker with all the fixings. Went for a lovely walk around the neighbourhood and ended the evening with a nice hot tub. The owner was very responsive and answered in a very timing fashion. We will definitely be back! Would definitely recommend to people looking for a nice little cottage getaway. Thanks again :)

Amazing private quiet getaway for family, or spouse

Me my wife and our doggo hazel were welcome will such cozy quite relaxing vibes the second we arrived everything about this place is beautiful was perfect the nice fireplace down stairs to snuggle up to and play games and watch tv or the hotub outside to lay back and relax from our busy lives back home ,This private ( neighbors on both sides but seems to be a vacant space on one side with the hotub and bbq and deck ) felt so private though was worried at first ,about maybe not having the seclusion like it offered but wow it felt like nobody was around at all , neighbors were quiet never even seen them so no worries if that is something you like to know in advance:) the high point getaway is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from daily lives and forget about it and enjoy some quite relaxing cabin time with the family and friends, thanks again Kyle and family for having us, host was incredibly helpful and responded quickly as well happy to of been guests to such a wonderful place book if your interested you won’t be disappointed
