Croton Pond Cottage and dock- pet friendly!

A great open floor plan with lots of space for families or groups, with a fully equipped kitchen.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a convenient laundry stack. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin up top. A day bed and sleeper chair in the living room provide three twin sleep spaces for family gatherings.

Park in the driveway for easy unloading of supplies and enjoy an evening around the fire pit in the side yard.

Located on a low bank with over 1300 acres of all-sports Croton pond between the dams. Enjoy freedom on the water with your V hull boat just steps away in a convenient boat lift. Great boating and fishing, and the Dragon and North Country trailheads are close by.

This cottage was everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beautiful area and the perfect location for Penny to swim. The cottage has everything you may need, comfortable beds and a big kitchen.

My husband and I had a very relaxing mini vacation. The place came with kayaks which was so nice to take a stroll up and down the lake/river. Carol was very and accommodating when we first got there. The place itself had everything we needed, but it does need a little bit of TLC. Neighbors were friendly and area was nice.

Great stay

Had a fantastic weekend. Needed the rest and relaxation and this cabin gave us just what we needed. Owners were great and beyond helpful. Close access to the lake and the boat launch. We would definitely stay again

Lovely getaway

Loved the older charm and newer furnishings!!! We had good down time and loved the shade on the very hot days we were there. Especially loved the hosts pups!!!! Great towels, pillows, and other amenities were appreciated.

August week

Enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was perfect for our family especially my husband who is on a walker. The kayaks were a lot of fun and the area had so much to do. The kids caught a lot of fish and the weather was perfect!!!

Cute cabin on the water was exactly what we needed. Great view and a good place to go swimming. Host was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We had a nice time at the cottage. The neighborhood is very quiet. The lake was also quiet. Pictures are as described. We had our boat with us and husband found some good fishing spots.

Great weekend getaway

A fantastic cottage directly on the water with dock access. Located on a quiet, dead end street. House was clean. So nice that it was pet-friendly as well. Access to kayaks on property were an added bonus! Hosts were wonderful!

Croton Pond Gem

This was our second year in a row staying here. We love that the cottage is just steps away from the water. The ability to dock our boat was so convenient and the fishing is great. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to unwind I highly recommend. The hosts are wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Each morning we enjoyed a relaxing cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water. The location was beautiful. The cottage had plenty of room for our family and dogs. The fact that it is situated just steps from the water was a bonus, especially for our son who loves to fish! The hosts were wonderful and we highly recommend!

Lovely cabin on the water

We enjoyed a long weekend of boating and relaxing outside on the waters edge. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had and were very helpful. They really try do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked and had little extras, such as condiments, snacks and coffee, which made us feel very welcome. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We would love to stay again.

Comfortable and friendly

My family enjoyed the quiet comfort of the Marigold cottage. The open floor plan was nice, and it was great having a large dining table and Keurig coffee maker. Our only issue was sleeping space: The bunk bed room was only big enough for the bed itself so we had to move some furniture around, and we couldn't pull the trundle bed out in the living room without moving the TV stand, so we had to improvise. The fish were biting off the shore and dock, however, so we were happy!

Great little place for a weekend away

We ended up not bringing our boat due to the threat of rain, and there was really no rain! The Kitchen was well stocked, lots of room to cook. The cottage was small, but plenty of room for the two of us. We grilled outside for dinner and ate on the deck enjoying Croton pond. In the morning we drank coffee. It as quiet and peaceful.The owner had plastic wrap, coffee and filters, popcorn, bottled water and condiments for our use which was really appreciated. The home was comfy.

Home was exactly what was in the photos - blew our expectations away upon walking in. The home smelled so clean and had so various decorative touches. Best part is we could bring both dogs, and they loved it! Carol was so sweet and beyond welcoming. Plus the house had everything you could think of in case you forgot something. Even a basket of snacks upon arriving - thought of everything. We will be back! Thanks so much ◡̈
