While enjoying your stay you’ll definitely want to sit out on the spacious deck to enjoy the sunsets and the quietness of the countryside. This home is adjacent to a popular wedding venue and just minutes from Emerald Hollow Mine and Rocky Face Mountain Recreational Area. Whatever the reason for visiting this quaint town you’ll find all the comforts you are looking for in a home away from home while staying at Harriet’s Cottage.

Five star property! Clean, updated home near the mine. Comfortable beds and large deck to relax. We enjoyed the coffee house diner and antique stores near town. Excellent communication with host and beautiful country setting. Couldn’t ask for more!

Ashley quickly met us at the house within minutes of our arrival because I couldn't get the door unlocked. The house was immaculate and cozy. Amenities were all available, appliances, washer and dryer, pots and pans, everything we needed. Emerald Hollow mine is just 2 minutes away as advertised and we spent all day Friday mining. Then we enjoyed relaxing in front of the television that evening. It was just an awesome relaxing break from work on a quiet country road away from the chaos.

Clean and quiet, very relaxing

Thank you for renting your house to us! We appreciated the personal touches, and it was so quiet and relaxing. The entry process was smooth and easy. We visited serenity alpaca farm and the emerald hollow mine. Unfortunately yellow deli is closed on Saturdays because I has also wanted to try it. It was a fun whirlwind weekend and the kids really came out of their shells. Thank you again for hosting us!

It was the perfect home for our needs as we wanted a place close to Emerald Hollow Mine. Everything was clean and well maintained and great communication with our host. She found out we were there for a birthday weekend and left a nice birthday welcome. We definitely want to stay there again when we go back.

You can touch the stars

9 hr trip each way For emerald hollow mine - which Literally was down the road. The best part of the trip was being outside and feeling like you could just touch the stars. In all my travels I have never seen the sky as beautiful as it was - ohh & the sunset! The home/ property was very clean, peaceful, quiet with such a comfortable feel. Host was Responsive and heartfelt. If I was coming back this way, I would definitely stop just to stay on this beautiful property in this beautiful home. Make sure to eat at the yellow Daisy you will not regret that either

A Nice Surprise

My daughter and I took a weekend "girl's" trip. We wanted to visit Emerald Hollow Mine. I took a chance and stayed at this lovely property instead of staying in a hotel. It was an excellent decision! The house literally has everything you could ever want ready and available for your stay. The beds are so comfy with plenty of pillows to choose from. My daughter and I felt safe and absolutely loved the privacy. The house is cute and I personally felt at home. Check in was simple. There are great restaurants within simple driving distance and even a nice grocery store to pick up supplies. I personally enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the cows graze. I highly recommended this property if you are needing to stay in this area.

Was a beautiful and quiet place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax at. The host was very nice and was easy to reach. The view was spectacular. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place on a hill

The property is in a pastoral, bucolic setting. Far away views to the east and west. Breezy and oh so peaceful.
