Cute and cozy home on beautiful Lake Houser! The Cove has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and can accommodate up to 7 guests. Master bedroom has a King Bed and ensuite Master Bath with oversize walk-in shower. 2nd Bedroom has Queen Bed, The 3rd Bedroom has Bunk Beds with additional Trundle.

The Cove is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay. You can use the 2 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddle boards to explore the lake, or go fishing for dinner.Propane gas fire place available to enjoy. Kitchen is spacious and contains everything you need for preparing meals, snacks, and entertaining.The kitchen is stocked with coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock-pot, etc. Off of the kitchen is a laundry area with full size washer and dryer. There are lots of windows to enjoy the scenery and a large deck to grill and gather.

The Cove is located in a private community on a 25-acre lake. You can also visit nearby attractions such as Lake Houser Campground/Swimming Pool, Lake Houser Adventures ATV Park, Gardner-Webb University, Kings Mountain Battleground, Cowpens National Battleground, Tryon International Equestrian Center, Chimney Rock State Park. Nearby trails include Broad River Greenway and Thermal Belt Rail Trail. If you prefer to stay indoors, there are Smart TVs located in two bedrooms and the Living Room.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The occupancy limit for this home is 7 people. We ask that you provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles.

MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve The Cove and must also be a guest at the property throughout the duration of the stay.

NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor/bacherlorette/wedding parties, or any similar groups unless approved at time of reservation.

PETS: No pets, no exceptions.

SMOKING/ALCOHOL: Smoking (cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes) is strictly prohibited. No alcoholic beverage allowed on the lake. No open containers outside of the house.

We stayed here for the Gardner-Webb football game and it was perfect. We had plenty of room to catch up and play cards and hang out as a family, which is exactly what we wanted to do. We slept well and comfortably - and the master bath shower was luxurious! Our host was incredibly gracious, accommodating and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Stunning lake stay

I booked this property for me and a couple of friends for my best friends wedding. We stayed here for several days the views were impeccable seeing the Morning mist come off the lake with our coffee Is something we will not soon forget. We used the house as a get ready for hair and make up and the bride and I were astounded with how big the master bathroom was that it could accommodate Four girls! The bathroom was nothing short of beautiful, And I cannot forget to mention how beautiful the entire area was And all of the kind people that lived on the lake. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time we stayed when I return, this property will be my top choice to rebook every time!

Home away from Home

We checked in at 6pm after driving for 21 hours from Maine. The house was easy to find and we were very happy with the house! The set up was very convient since we had grandchildren- they had their own bathroom and my fiance and I had our own bathròom with the best and biggest shower that both of us could enjoy together (2 shower heads in a huge, tiled shower room). The spare blankets in the toy box in the bunk bed room were a hit with the kids, as well as the games and 3 tvs. Us adults loved that everything we could need was in the kitchen for cooking. The screened in porch, the deck where you cojld see fish, the walnut tree... we will be staying here again! Thank you so much! We had a safe, private spot for our kids and grands and were able to cook for them and pur daughter's wedding!

Magical getaway

This place was amazing! Peaceful setting, the house is nestled in the cove so its very private. Took the peddle boat across the lake to the pool! Also had kayaks and paddle boards! The pool is perfect, the lake is so peaceful. Lots of wildlife...frogs, turtles, i saw a blue heron fly over looking for a nice place to land. The house was beautifully decorated and beyond clean! I suggest that you stop at the grocery store and stock up so you don't have to leave this place until checkout!!! Looking forward to going back ASAP ❤

Peaceful Getaway

We unexpectedly needed to rent a house close to our home and this house was perfect! It has everything anyone would need to just pack your bag and move in. The house is spotless! Honestly the cleanest home/vrbo we have ever rented. They even have cleaning supplies incase you need anything during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped… even a crockpot pot! We had everything we needed and more. The shower cave is relaxing and so nice. We will definitely hideaway here again sometime soon. Mike, the host and his family were so kind and welcoming for anything we needed! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lake house.

Great get away!

The place is right on a private, quiet tucked away small lake. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay, thank you! The place was very clean and tidy. Mike was a great communicator! Anything I needed he was right there to make sure our stay was perfect! We will be coming back again! We loved it.

Chillin At The Lake

This was a great place to get away for a bit. We stayed almost a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coffee out on the desk in the mornings was a great way to start the day, and sitting out under the stars is the best way to end the day. This place also has the most amazing shower of any of the places we've stayed at through VRBO. They put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable home away from home, especially having plenty of towels for our stay which seems to be a rarity. We will certainly come back when we get a chance.

Pretty perfect!

Lovely setting for this cozy place especially in September. When we weren’t out sightseeing we spent our time on the large deck enjoying the beauty. At night we played Uno around the kitchen table. Master bath is the best! Mike was super in responding! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Location wasn’t great for needing to be in Spindale, but the place made up for the inconvenience.
