Nestled on a private 60-acre horse farm, the property offers a peaceful escape, surrounded by rolling pastures, woods, and the quiet beauty of the countryside. Wake up to horses grazing nearby and cattle in the fields.

Whether you're sipping your morning coffee on the porch, or relaxing beside our picturesque pond in the gazebo, fishing, or exploring the wooded trails that wind alongside gentle creeks and natural springs, you'll find countless opportunities to slow down and reconnect with nature.

Peaceful and conveniently located minutes to downtown Forest city, 25 minutes to Tryon International Equestrian Center, one hour from Asheville and Charlotte.

The Sugar Ranch was perfect for the 4 of us. We loved the property and the amazing farm animals! The owners are so kind. We appreciated the Farm Tour and the welcome basket and fresh eggs! Would happily stay again.

Amazing stay. Hosts made this Easter weekend amazing as lots of room for egg hunts for the kiddos. They also gave us a big basket of goodies to start the week. Great fishing in the pod for bass and perch; caught and released a lot. Reached out and offered a tour of the barns and introduced us to the animals. Very clean, comfy and lots of room for the family. Games inside and out and overall relaxing experience.

They were so accommodating, so kind, they occasionally text us to be sure everything was going well and to our satisfaction. Brenda and her family are absolutely incredible. Our trip truly did not feel like we were staying at a VRBO- they made us feel like family. The land is amazing, the home is beautiful and SPOTLESS, and they are the most welcoming, thoughtful, and kind people around. You absolutely will not find a better place or a better price. Their attention to detail is immaculate and we will never stop talking about this trip!

Tranquil Stay

We loved this property so much. It was clean and had plenty of supplies to include farm fresh eggs upon arrival. The acrivities in the backyard were perfect. We fished in the pond and caught several bass. We kayaked, played board games, and roasted marshmellows one night. Mrs. Brenda was very accomodating, friendly, and responsive. She let our two little kids pet the farm animals, feed them treats, and collect eggs. They loved it. Thank you so much.

What an amazing trip! The home is just perfect. Brenda has anything and everything you could possibly need in the beautifully decorated, well stocked, impeccably clean farmhouse. She and Jon were the BEST hosts and so kind to spend a morning touring the stables with us. We 10/10 recommend!
