The place was large and clean. We really enjoyed the location for our one night stay with plenty of restaurants within a short walk. The large city park was also a very short walk and was a great place to walk our dog in the morning. The only issue we had was that the listing said the beds were queens but they were definitely smaller than a queen probably a full. It was tighter sleeping with us and our dog than when sleeping at home in our queen. Rules and information were welled spelled out and easy to follow.

Fantastic location

Location of the property was excellent. Our other parties were located in midtown so we were close to them and other places we needed to go. There were a couple of items…window shades in one of the bedrooms were broken. The bathtub drain is very slow, as is the toilet flush. And the bathtub faucet has a constant leak. All in all, it was a nice stay and great location.

Loved our stay

We had never been to Memphis and weren't sure where to stay. This location felt safe (single mom and two daughters) and close to most everything! The only thing I would suggest is maybe a little bit more lamp light, it gets very dark at night! Owners were lovely and very helpful! We will come again!

It was okay

Let me start by saying that the property owner did leave a note to reach out if there were any issues, and we did not since we were only staying a few nights. There were some serious maintenance issues, broken stair treads and water leak coming up from the floor by the front door. We also had a hard time finding the property because the lights that were supposed to be illuminating the property were out. I did notify the property owner of these items upon checkout so hopefully they would be resolved before anyone else checks in. Besides that, the unit was in a fantastic location - just a few blocks from Overton Park which had a great playground, and it's where the Zoo is too. Tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby too. It was just a 10 minute drive to Beale Street and the Bass Pro Shop pyramid. The unit itself was clean, but was lacking in a few areas. There was not much in the kitchen, just one garbage bag and the outdoor toter was already overflowing. There was just one old dish sponge that was worn and had caked on food on it. We also had two of the four towels we used had giant ripped holes in them. One bed also had no mattress protector, just a sheet straight on the mattress. The unit also had a pervasive dog smell, it's out own fault because we chose a pet friendly unit, but we had to wash everything article of clothing we brought, throw out loofahs, and use stripping shampoo on our hair to get rid of the smell at home. Just be aware of that's an issue for you.

Great Midtown Location

One of the more poorly maintained and stocked properties I have stayed in. The location was excellent. Noted the following for your follow up to improve stays for future guests; - Light above stove doesn’t work - only one old dirty sponge, no dish cloth and no dish washing soap at the kitchen sink. We bought a sponge and dishwashing liquid for future guests. - No pods for dishwasher though guest book indicate to run dishwasher at end of stay - not many kitchen cooking pieces or dish towel - guest book indicates to use coasters but couldn’t locate any - bath tub faucet continually leaks hot water - no window coverings for privacy in bathroom or kitchen - floors appear clean but socks got very dirty walking around the unit - fan light in bedroom with desk doesn’t work. Dead battery in remote? - one of the best locations to stay in Memphis.

Great place and location

I loved this property. Close to the Overton park to walk my dog. We had a courtyard where i could let my dog go potty safely. The gates all locked to the individual condos, parking was easy. The condo was clean for the most part. There were a few places that needed alittle attention...Ex. Microwave. The location is in a safer neighborhood but a few miles in either direction you would want to make sure to practice safety measures. It was a quiet place and sitting outside was a treat...sipping your coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

Great neighborhood, nice place.

This is an older place in a very nice neighborhood. There are lots of shops and restaurants and a nice park all within walking distance. The only issue we had was that the mirror in the bathroom is mounted too high for a short person to use. Otherwise, everything we needed was there. One thing that was not a problem for us but perhaps might be for some other guest is the lack of blinds in the second bedroom. We like to close the blinds at night to keep things dark and that is not possible when there ar eno blinds. Finally, it was not a problem for use, but, if you have problems with stairs, don’t use this property. You need the stairs to get to the bathroom and bedrooms.

Great Location, Clean Home!

The location was great for our purposes. The neighborhood offered great dining options. The home was clean and ready for us. The only recommendations I would make is to have a floor mat inside the home upon entering. When we arrived, it was raining, and it created a slippery situation on the tile upon entering. I'd also recommend two different pillow types for each bed. We found the pillows a little firmer than we were used to.

Exactly as advertised. Located within walking distance from several restaurants. Nice patio areas upstairs and downstairs. Some oversight with the cleaning (dried spills on the floor in master bedroom & items found from previous guests). Smooth check-in and checkout. Quiet neighborhood. Also, no curtain for window in the bathroom, but we improvised.

A Memphis Gem

Clean, spacious, and wonderful interior design. We had a fantastic graduation weekend stay here. Also very walkable to bars and restaurants. Will absolutely stay here again. The value can’t be beat.

This unit is a two-story 2 bedroom 1 bath unit. It is a unit of a beautiful garden style apartment/condo triplex. It provides all the privacy and convenience one could ask for in an VRBO! From a convenient right in front of the unit driveway, to a private entrance into a large living/dining room that spans across the bottom floor of the space. From there, the main door leads into the unit where you'll find yourself in an open space with the staircase to your right . Living room, and kitchen to your right, dining room straight ahead. Upstairs, you'll find a 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom just straight off the top or the stairs. To your left there is a hallway that leads into the very spacious main bedroom, from there you'll also find the attached main full bathroom. If the apartment itself isn't enough, our location and easy access to everything in Midtown - Overton Square surely takes the cake!
