This charming cottage was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The property was beautiful, located just outside of Fort Bragg. It was very quiet, and the fresh morning air was perfect! Just beautiful, the perfect getaway!

Love this cottage! Location is perfect, feels like you are far away in the woods but your only minutes away from the ocean. The host, Christine was great. She left us a nice note and treat for our anniversary. Will stay there again.

Beautiful place with a lovely back yard. The pillows were amazing! And they have a seated shower as well as a traditional one. Would definitely stay again!!!

This property is very nice. The owner, is the best. She is on the property, but you would not know she was there. If there is an issue she responds quickly. We have stayed there 4 times and going again next year. The cottage has everything you need for an excellent stay in Fort Bragg

Loved our stay! Great communication with the owner from booking to our concluded stay. Owner is on the property but you would never know it. So quiet/peaceful. We enjoyed some time on the deck catching some CA sunshine and we really liked the well stocked kitchen for our cooking needs. Location was great to get to the activities we had planned…if no preplanning has occurred Christine has left detailed info for you to use. We would stay again if out this way again. Thanks Christine!

This home is close to town, yet secluded enough to feel like a private getaway. It’s beautifully surrounded by forest, where we got to watch deer in the backyard on multiple occasions. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and the host offered very organized, detailed guides on enjoying the area. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place to stay in Fort Bragg!We stayed at this beautiful cottage for two nights and it was an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish.The property itself is incredibly charming and tucked away in a peaceful setting. The view of the stars from the secluded patio was such a nice way to relax before going to sleep.What really sets this home apart is how exceptionally well-organized it is. The hosts have truly thought of everything, placing thoughtful touches throughout the entire house: conveniently placed device chargers, kitchen that makes food preparation easy, to a great coffee/tea setup that made our mornings so bright and easy.On top of the wonderful accommodations, our host was lovely, incredibly communicative, and made the whole process seamless. It was the most comforting, cozy base camp to return to after long days spent exploring the coast, endless views, and long hikes in breathtaking Russian Gulch. We had a wonderful time in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The host was thoughtful and even provided a birthday cupcake upon arrival for one of our family members whose birthday occurred during our stay! The bed and futon were comfortable, the kitchen nicely equipped with everything we needed to make meals, and the location was secluded yet very close to Fort Bragg and the many beaches and parks in the area. Highly recommend!

It's a diamond in the rough. Wonderful environment. I loved the handicapped feature. The host responded timely with issues. The deer in the yard a bonus. Close to everything. Well equipped and had everything we needed. We felt very at home. A good value and I would come again.

This house surpassed my hopes and expectations. We shared a cozy, comfortable, lovely time as a family even in the midst of heavy storms and power outages. We were well taken care of while also having our privacy respected and the house had everything we needed. It was clean and well cared for, and the surrounding property is absolutely gorgeous and also well cared for. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place for a Family Getaway

The place is well appointed with everything we needed. The host was super responsive and friendly. Nice location tucked into the trees but a quick jaunt to Fort Bragg for anything you need. Not sure if it was a common thing but a cute family of 5 deer hung out in the large yard for a few hours each day we were there.

Quiet cottage

The cottage is very pleasant, clean and well-organized. Christine has thought of everything including a binder to help you plan your stay. It is decorated very tastefully, not garage sale furniture. We will return to this cottage.

This cottage is so wonderful with lots of space, beautiful surrounding forest, everything in the kitchen you could possible want, very close to Fort Bragg, short distance to Mendocino, and I really liked the 3 deer that came to see me off when I was getting ready to leave. Christine, the host, was so great. This is the best VRBO I have stayed in.

Cozy stay

We loved staying at the Cottage Hide-away and hope to return. Place was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (including spices, a few condiments, and some snacks and drinks), and the location was just minutes away from everything we wanted to do in Fort Bragg. Christine responded quickly when we had a question. Beautiful, peaceful setting in the Redwoods.

The cottage is so very clean. Every room is comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal and all the dishes and utensils to serve on. The cottage is stocked with coffee, teas, and creamers. Christine is amazing, you need anything she is quick to respond. The cottage is located in the redwoods and the property is beautiful. My husband and I will always book our stay here.
