South Miami Oasis with lake views! Short drive to beach!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.Frank Lloyd Wright 1960’s style home surrounded by trees and swimmable lake in a quiet southwest Miami community. Features include a screened in patio, deck by the lake, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen with dining area seating for at least 6 people. Additional amenities include laundry and a kayak to use on the lake, which is also great for swimming. 20-30 minutes from Key Biscayne & 30-35 mins from Miami Beach.

We do require guests sign a rental agreement and provide government ID as a part of their stay. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Great Stay!We loved our time here. The place was super clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The lake views were beautiful, and the location couldn’t have been better as it was close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again!

Quiet lakeside Miami retreat

We loved our stay. Our 3 kids loved the lake and kayaking was the highlight. Sunrise views over the lake were a delight. Property is older but nice amenities and the serenity of the location with access to Miami sights was amazing

Great stay. Loved the tranquil setting on the lake. The lush landscape provides great shade and it makes you feel you’re in a park. Soooo much better than a hotel. Glad we found this home!

Feels like Home!

Our family really enjoyed relaxing at this mid-century modern home. It was comfortable and clean, shady and secluded, and had everything we needed. The deck is the perfect spot to watch a glorious sunrise over the lake while sipping morning coffee. The location is convenient to many Miami attractions and the Everglades. Our host was very friendly, quick to respond to our questions, and had some terrific restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend!

Lots of character, very comfortable, spacious, fantastic deck on the water

My family and I had a wonderful stay- we spent a lot of time on the screened porch and on the deck. Easy drive to the Fairchild Tropical Garden and to the Everglades and Biscayne Bay. Good restaurants nearby. Though in a neighborhood, it felt very secluded. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and relaxing

We especially loved the open feel, and since it was mild temperatures we enjoyed time on the screened-in patio as well as the deck by the water. The home has all the amenities you need and is centrally located to much of Miami.

Relaxing retreat

Surprising home with relaxing Lakeview, hidden gem from street and central to many things. We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful art pieces to view, an enclosed screened room deck and with a deck by water. It was a great place to relax in between our son's wedding events. The property manger was extremely helpful and very fast at responding to any questions. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you

Perfect place for a weekend getaway

This property had so much charm and personality, our whole group fell in love with it. It was just as advertised. The communication was great. The outdoor space was a favorite and the views from the bedrooms were also noteworthy. I was pleasantly surprised when our check out instructions were "just leave it as it is", so nice not worry about some crazy check list upon departure. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Miami area.

Hidden Gem

We loved our getaway on Bluebird Lake. Host Josh was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. Upon arrival we immediately felt at home in this well appointed clean and comfortable house. The house guide was a welcome reference. Thanks to the expansive screened in porch, the outside blends seamlessly into the charming interior of this home. We started our mornings and ended our days in the peaceful backyard sanctuary and even met the resident peacock! What a wonderful and peaceful home base for our Miami stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Cute little getaway

This was our first time using Vrbo and we are so glad we decided on this property! The owner was very kind and responded quickly, never leaving us in the dark about anything. The property itself was beautiful and the lake was an added bonus! If only we got to use the kayaks on the lake (we didn't have enough time with everything we had planned). If we ever come back to Miami, we'll be looking for this rental!

Short Stay in Miami-- near HCA Kendall

A hidden piece of paradise in the middle of Miami. Who knew??!! Gorgeous views of the lake, beautiful birds swooping around, and a covered deck to take it all in. The house easily accommodated my family with its four bedrooms. Josh was beyond accommodating as a host and even gave great dining recommendations in the area. Bonus points for awesome showers!

What a gem!!

Our family (one couple, one grandparent, and three young adults) stayed three nights in this lovely and very personal property. Homes like this are the reason to choose a short rental over a hotel. Spacious and private with plenty of parking. If you’ve ever stayed in Miami you will know this is a rare amenity! The inside is a mid-century modern time capsule filled with eclectic art and comfy beds. And outside is even better…beautiful dock overlooking the lake and a big screened in porch. The kids kayaked for hours. Plenty of space for our local family to come over for a meal and boards games. We loved it! 10/10 would stay again!

Wonderful Old fashioned style cabin in a nice location

The property is one of the best cabin for those who prefer to visit Miami, South beach or to Key west. This is designed as old fashioned house by lake with option to do kayaking. The property surrounded by beautiful plants and tree. It is well maintained with great cleanliness. Josh is responsive always. I would love to visit this again with my family and friends. My kids enjoyed it throughly .

Escape from winter in Miami Oasis

The house is amazing, unbelievable! It forms a huge space that gets you connected to outside, which is a beautiful landscape with orchids, interesting trees, lake and birds. Everything except for appliances is antique, gave us a feel that we are visiting an old relative of ours. Lots of art in the house, like a little gallery. House was fully stocked with all we needed. Upscale neighborhood, we enjoyed walking around. A huge Tropical park nearby, we biked there, lots of interesting birds. It really felt like an oasis, we had no idea Miami can feel so relaxing. The hosts were amazing, always replied immediately. Highly recommended.

La maison louée était très bien située, conforme au descriptif, parfait pour découvrir Miami et ses environs. La terrasse donnant sur le lac ainsi que le patio sont très agréable. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir profiter des kayaks ainsi que du barbecue. La maison est équipée du nécessaire (lave-linge, sèche linge, lave-vaisselle ....) Josh a été très disponible et réactif a nos demandes.
