Sandtrap is located less than half mile to private beach in historic Hyannis Park! This fully renovated Cape Ranch style home has all of the amenities you will need for a perfect Cape Cod vacation! Beaches, Marina, Ferry Terminals, Golfing, Downtown Shopping, Restaurants all within minutes away. Play mini golf and have an ice cream at Putter's Paradise just 50 yards away after a day of fun in the sun at the beach. Jump on the Ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for a day trip! Or, get on a fishing charter, go whale watching, kayak on Bass River or one of our many other launchings, bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and you won't want to miss out on a harbor cruise and see the Kennedy Compound as well as other famous homes along the Hyannis Port Harbor. Venture down to Truro Winery and Provincetown to take in more of our treasured National Seashore and wonderful boutique shopping!

Mary was a terrific host- very attentive and helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location on the Cape- a short drive to a lot of great beaches, attraction, and shopping. This was a great spot for a girl's weekend!

From the start to finish communication was excellent. The house is so cute and charming! Super clean and the attention to all the needs while visiting were met! The kitchen, beautifully renovated. Appliances so clean again the attention to detail surpasses all my expectations! The location was excellent.. easy to get anywhere on the Cape. We enjoyed our stay! And blessed with great weather!

I’ve stayed in many rental properties on my travels and this home is at the top! From the kitchen/home supplies to the decor - this home has been crafted with intention at every turn. The cottage was cozy and plentiful, and the outdoor space was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring! Anything and everything we needed was already provided and Mary gave us some great tips and places to check out in and around the Cape. The property is close to beaches, retail and the ferry, which was ideal for our day trips to the islands. We ate our weight in seafood (Mary recommended the seafood stew at Spankys Clam Shack and it was the best meal of our trip!). Mary pulls out all of the stops to make her guests comfortable and her communication is exemplary. Don’t miss out on this gem!

This house was absolutely adorable and super convenient to many places on the cape. All beds were comfortable and there were all kinds of extra conveniences like coffee, creamer, shampoo, Qtips and medicine stocked for guests. I would definitely go here again and recommend to anyone. Very impressed!

Our family loved our stay at Sandtrap! Mary's home is very welcoming and very well organized- plenty of hooks, hangers, baskets, blankets, she's though of everything! We cooked many meals in the kitchen and grilled out in the back yard! The back garden is beautiful. The beach gear and wagon made trips to the beach and kettle ponds super easy. Location was great, we visited many of the townships and nothing was too far away.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Sandtrap in Yarmouth, MA. It was our first time on Cape Cod and we had no idea what to expect. The house is beautiful, spotless and has EVERYTHING you need. I’ve never rented a vacation home that provided linens and towels (decades of Jersey Shore stays) and it made everything so much easier. The house itself it tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and you can walk to a small, quiet beach and also mini golf, ice cream and coffee. Anything ing you need is quick drive away and the proximity to Hyannis makes all the traditional Cape Cod excursions (whale watch, ferries) extremely convenient and accessible. There are great places to eat within minutes. Mary was attentive, engaging and so friendly. Everything in the house is comfortable and clean. Recommend 100%

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood with every amenity as advertised. Great location near everything. Mary's very responsive and pleasure to deal and chat with. Plenty of room and space for our party of 6 adults and 2 infants. Immaculate backyard with adorable picnic table area for outdoor eating. Definitely recommend The Sandtrap for your stay.

Amazing Cape Stay!

We loved staying at the Sandtrap. Mary is incredibly communicative and helpful. The house is perfect for a family. We had a wonderful time exploring the Cape, playing mini golf, eating ice cream and making memories as a family. The neighborhood beach was especially our favorite as it was quaint and close by and perfect for our little ones. Highly recommend staying at Mary’s charming Sandtrap!

Perfect Getaway

My family and I had such a nice time at the Sandtrap! Mary was helpful and available to answer any questions we had. Very pretty home and backyard! Fantastic location. A total plus for me were all the kitchen gadgets and appliances. Super comfy beds, too! All in all a great place to stay.

Charming and Central

This is a charming, attractive cottage centrally located for exploring all there is on Cape Cod. We were there for the Cape Cod Baseball summer league, driving to a different village around the Cape for each game. Mary’s thoughtful supplies include travel folding chairs which were essential on game nights.The home is extremely well supplied with many thoughtful touches. Host Mary is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Some rooms are tight on space. To use the bed in the alcove of the third bedroom requires climbing in from the bottom. Best for younger members of your party. Be sure to sample some of the many ice cream parlors and enjoy your stay.

Our stay at Sandtrap was absolutely perfect for our family of six and made our first trip to Cape Cod truly memorable! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully appointed—it immediately felt welcoming and comfortable.Mary is a fantastic host—quick to respond, warm, and full of excellent recommendations for things to see and do around the Cape. Her local insights really enhanced our trip!The kitchen was well-equipped, which made dining in easy and enjoyable. We especially loved the backyard and deck, where we shared several meals in the fresh Cape air. The provided beach gear was a thoughtful bonus and came in handy for our relaxing afternoon at a nearby beach.The location was ideal for exploring—easy drives to Chatham, Dennis, Provincetown, and just minutes from the Hyannisport ferry, where we caught a boat for a wonderful day on Martha’s Vineyard.Sandtrap was everything we hoped for and more—clean, charming, and convenient. Sandtrap is delightful

We had a fabulous stay at Sandtrap. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Communication with our host Mary was good. Location is ideal for exploring Cape Cod, islands and the local beach. Trips to Nantucket and Marthers Vineyard were easy , as was a very successful whale watching trip. Great stay , thank you Mary for making Sandtrap available to us.

Sandtrap was amazing . Cosy comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need.great location for beaches and ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard. Mary has decorated so lovely, both inside and outside in the garden. I would definitely go back to Sandtrap.

Great Girls Getaway

We had an enjoyable stay at the Sandtrap. The home was meticulous and beautifully decorated. The host lives next door and was very responsive to any questions we had. There were written instructions throughout the house to avoid any confusion. I’d highly recommend the Sandtrap!

The perfect Cape Home for a getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sandtrap! It is perfectly located a short walk to the beach, putt putt, and a short drive away from restaurants, other towns, with plenty to do/explore. We had so much fun for the weekend staying here- it is a beautiful home that is very cozy and lots of space! Mary is so delightful and quick to respond and provided all the information and support we needed before, during, and after our stay. Would recommend this property to any family looking for a vacation home in Cape Cod!

Empty Nester Trip

This property was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with anything we could need. It was convenient to everything. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard around the fire pit with our friends. Thank you Mary for your hospitality!

Great Cape Cottage Close to it All!

Mary’s house was a wonderful and spacious option for us and our little one this summer. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Chatham, Harwich, and Dennis, as well as a 5 minute drive from the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Mary also shared out some local spots that we hadn’t been to before, and enhanced our trip. Having come up to the Cape every summer for nearly a decade now, I can say that Mary’s place is one of the best spots we’ve found (and the beds are super comfortable, too!). We hope to return again next year.

Wonderful Cape Cod Getaway!

Mary was a wonderful host! She was responsive and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great location to venture out to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard and was a quick ride to Chatham and Provincetown. Also, the beach down the road was gorgeous and convenient. Very clean and cute place to stay

This was a very clean and cute place to stay. It is very comfortable and has everything you would need or want from everything in the kitchen if you want to cook in or have a cookout to everything in the bathroom that you would need. Very quiet neighborhood. The owner is very friendly and very helpful with information for the area and for Martha’s Vineyard. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Cape Cod Gem

Sand Trap is a beautiful, well appointed and convenient home for your Cape Cod visit! The interior was bright, colorful and so clean! So many thoughtful amenities - beach chairs, beach cooler, well stocked kitchen - you name it- Mary thought of it! We had the most wonderful time with our adult children and their girlfriends. Convenient to The ferry and downtown Hyannis!! We will be back!! Mary was very responsive as well with lots a local recommendations.

Great stay

Mary’s house was fantastic and in a great location. The house is very cheery and the backyard is divine to sit in. Mary was very communicative and check-in was easy. She was also very helpful with giving feedback as to where to go.

From just North of Boston, I am a true "Washashore" here on Cape Cod. I traveled for 30 plus years all over the US and many other places for business, but my heart still flies lighter once I cross the Sagamore Bridge onto Cape Cod. Sandtrap was once my "go to" second home, but now is my year-round landing spot! I am outgoing and enjoy meeting new people, but also mindful of my guests' privacy as I expect for myself. I am committed to providing the best visits for all of my guests and strive to address any need or concerns quickly!

Historic Hyannis Park is a seaside family neighborhood with our own beach less than half mile at the end of the street, and so much more very close by; ferry terminals, local shopping, dining, major travel routes, airport, other wonderful beaches, golf, kayaking and so much more. The location is just terrific!
