We had such a wonderful stay! The host checked in to make sure we got checked in ok and if we needed anything. We had no issues and everything was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay. The host thought of everything we would need. He communicated so well and offered suggestion of things to do. The house was adorable with all the amenities we needed.

We had a great quick stay! William was very quick and responsive; 15-20 minutes to ski resorts and Boone, Hot tub was an amazing add on we will be back!

We had a great stay! We went on a snowy weekend and the host was quick to answer all of our messages with questions pertaining to the weather/cold. The covered hot tub in the snow was awesome and the kitchen was well equipped for a weekend of being snowed in!

We had a great girls weekend here! Check in and check out was smooth. The communication with the host was quick and great directions for how everything worked. The hot tub and projector screen was a great bonus and the coffee bar was a pleasant surprise! The house was clean and very cozy. Access to the loft was a little more challenging than anticipated as the staircase was so steep. We had such a great time and would stay here again!

This house was super cute and cozy. It fit my family of 4 perfectly. The hot tub was very nice. Our son watched movies on the projector screen all week long. The porches were nice when the weather finally cooperates. It rained the whole trip but we enjoyed our time inside when we were not hiking or water rafting. Two of the bedrooms are on the second level down from where you enter the house. We had as little trouble after hiking navigating them to our own ailments. But the hot tub helped fix that up right away. We felt it was very convenient to restaurants in multiple towns. We managed to check out Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock towns.

The home has a great setup, worked perfectly for our group, and William was extremely accommodating. We spent Thanksgiving here and would highly recommend a family gathering here. We went hiking one day, drove to Boone also. So many things to do and all so close.

We had a great time stay at this property. Convenient location from Boone, Tweetsie Railroad and blowing rock. William is very prompt in responding to any questions. Hot tub was fantastic for the familiar to relax after a tiring day. Outdoor screen was great addition, however it more enjoyable during fall or winter when sunsets early. There are few properties at the backside, but there was no disturbance and it was very quiet neighborhood.

Overall loved the house. Spent 2 nights here, would have loved to stay longer. Easy to get in and out of- but be careful as my GPS wanted me to stop two houses down. Houses and driveways are clearly marked for ease. Everything you could need for a fun trip was available from the host already. Appreciated the little touches throughout that gave it a home away from home feel. Hot tub and gas fire table made for cozy evenings.

We had a great stay at this house! It looked just like the pictures and the location was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful and only 15 minutes away from town! Definitely will be staying here again

Three level house, worked great for our group! If you have mobility issues or small children this is not the property for you. Loved the outside projector and hammocks. Hot tub was wonderful! Kitchen is very well stocked. The only thing I would have wished for was a very sharp knife. (There is a knife block, I work in a restaurant and am used to sharp knives!) Coffee bar was enjoyed by our group. Parking was adequate for a mini van and SUV. You enter straight to the kitchen and living area, so no carrying groceries up or down steps. The weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the deck with the fire table and grill, but it is right off the kitchen and living area, so is easily accessible to cook and eat outside.Communication was excellent! We would stay again if in the area!

Perfect autumn getaway

Evermoss Chalet was the perfect place for me and my daughters to spend a beautiful autumn weekend in the High Country. It’s a great location for access to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Boone. The Mill Ridge community is very nice and the chalet itself has everything you need for a wonderful autumn getaway…from the hot tub to the outdoor fire pit and all the nice extras inside the chalet. The chalet is decorated so nicely and it’s very clean. We can’t wait to come stay at Evermoss Chalet again! Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Perfect family ski trip!

We absolutely loved this property! It was clean, very cute, and plenty of room for all of us. The only thing I wish was different is that there's not a direct walk out to the hot tub. In nicer weather, it wouldn't be an issue, but we had a very cold, windy, snowy night, so walking down the outside stairs wasn't ideal. Still, everything else was perfect!!!

Location & Amenities!

We were in town for our son to tour App State in July. It happened to be an absolute downpour of a weekend and we were still able to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor movie screen and there was plenty of comfortable interior space. The grilling deck and fire pit on the top deck looked awesome but we didn’t get to use. We were a short drive from the main streets of both Boone and Blowing Rock and communication with owner was responsive and easy! Parking is tight! It was a little more “rustic” than we are used to but we would absolutely stay here again!

My Honest Review

The property was so nice but needed a little extra attention to the outside areas as far as clean up from limbs, leaves, and spider webs. Nothing I didnt care for myself since evertyhing other than food was available. All needs anticipate and snacks provided as well! Such a nice touch!

Awesome Deal!

The place was overall very clean except the master drawers were quite dusty inside. The jacuzzi was enjoyable but it could not seem to get to at least 104 degrees; it would stay at 101 for some reason even when messing with the controls. The kitchen had everything you could possible need and then some. Lots of coffee choices and hot chocolate. The beds were super comfortable! I would stay here again in the future if I could get the jacuzzi to at least 104 degrees, but maybe I just didn't understand the controls.
