Comience el día con un café en el porche con vistas a un prado, disfrute del sol saliendo mientras ilumina la montaña. Esta casa está a unas pocas cuadras del centro de la ciudad, con sus galerías y tiendas. La casa ha sido completamente renovada hace solo unos años, es luminosa y soleada.
Los pisos de abeto restaurados originales complementan la sala y el comedor. El interior está decorado con buen gusto y es muy acogedor.
La cocina tiene los mostradores originales de pino de azúcar y viene totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario para albergar a una gran multitud. Una barbacoa está situada en el porche trasero y el patio está listo para el evento.
Lavadora y secadora en el lugar. Uno de los baños ofrece una bañera con patas, mientras que el otro tiene una ducha de mármol y una vidriera que ilumina la habitación con luces de colores.
Está ubicado en el corazón de McCloud, cerca de todas las galerías y tiendas. También está a un corto paseo del parque Hoo Hoo, donde puedes disfrutar del día jugando Bocci Ball en los nuevos campos de Bocci Ball Courts.

This was a great location for a wedding in town. we were able to walk everywhere. It was clean, convenient and super comfy. The host was easy to communicate with and it was perfect for what we needed.

Sweet comforts of home in charming McCloud

Our stay was over an extended weekend of dear, old friends, coming together to bask in the beauty of the region while flyfishing on some legendary rivers. This sweet, little home was filled with heart and soul… it was immaculate, yet not sterile. The comforts and warmth of home was found across the eclectic array of furniture… mostly farnerhousy and selected for maximum coziness. The kitchen had all the foundations for cooking of a thoughtful meal. The bathrooms delivered the high level of cleanliness and organization one would hope for, and the towels were soft, fresh and inviting.I want to note that because everything was clearly explained electronically, I did not require additional communication with the owners… this is why “good” was the rating I gave under communication… *not* for any lack on the owners part.If you’re ever in the area and seek the coziness of home, this is the place!

Chasing Waterfalls in NorCa

The house is charming and comfortable. It was very neat and clean. We used it as our “base camp” and were able to visit 8 waterfalls on our trip. The host was easy to work with and left clear instructions regarding the house. The house was chocked full of beautiful antiques and cool knick knacks which added to the charm and homey feeling. We would stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

Most amazing house

The house was amazing. Classic in every way. Every possible utensils available. We really felt at home.We only had one issue, the hot water wasn’t very hot. We were only able to take one shower in lukewarm water. Hot water alone was enough to wash dishes, but the shower was a combo faucet and it was too cold. As we were there for a memorial, we didn’t reach out to ask for assistance- that was my fault.If we could have taken the time to enjoy the rest of the property, the back yard was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the night air. But it was way too cold to do that.Thank you for sharing such a fantastic home with us. We will use the house again!

We had a great stay, but the house had no hot water. We all took cold showers and a couple of did not shower as it was just too cold. We didn’t even have warm water to wash the dishes we used.

Cute older home

Overall we had a nice stay at the house. Do be prepared that it is an older home so there are some things that are a little quirky about it. The beds were comfortable and it was clean.

Charming and comfortable

My husband and I enjoyed our annual trip to McCloud and this sweet home. A view of Mt Shasta out back was a nice bonus. The home was stocked with kitchen tools needed to make cooking simple. Close walk to downtown, very peaceful, and the owner was quick to reply to questions and even allowed us to arrive early. Very reasonably priced for offering so many beds and large, homey space. Loved it!

Beautiful Home with Great Amenities

We stayed for a couple nights, and the host was very easy to communicate with. It was a great spot to meet friends with a nice backyard area and it is a short walk to town. Parking is convenient and views of Mt. Shasta are stunning. I would definitely stay here again next time we make the trip to McCloud!

Quiet comfortable home

This little house is conveniently located about a 4 minute walk from the McCloud Hotel where our meeting was held. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and the quaint decor. The owner was very responsive to all our requests and very easy to work with.

This home was very clean and neat. We found it equipped with every thing we could possibly need for our stay. It was just a step out the back door and across the street to our event at the Mercantile. We will be back!

A nice little visit home

Very nice and cozy place to call home for a few days. Well stocked kitchen (in terms of pots and pans, plates, flatware, etc.) Beautiful, large backyard that we did get any use of because it was winter, but would be lovely in the summer. Thanks!

family wedding

the house served our purpose of being close to the McCloud Hotel for a family wedding well. It would have been nice if the rear yard had been cleaned up of the rotting apples, and there needs to be a way to turn off the light string, as it disrupted the views of the stars, and glared into the house all night.

Charming House

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Check-in was clearly communicated and smooth. The water was initially not on due to some city work, but this was clearly communicated to us by the property owner. The property is close to some amazing natural sights. We spent a little time kayaking on Siskiyou Lake in the shadow of Mt. Shasta and visited the headwaters of the Sacramento River. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time in the Mt. Shasta area. Thank you.

McCloud memories

Our stay was very nice. The location was perfect. The house was comfortable except at night the bedrooms were warm would have been nice to have fans in the rooms. Also the shower nozzle it would be nice to have had a removable handle. Overall it was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed our time in McCloud.

Fiddlers Rest

This home was exactly what we were looking for when we booked. The home was very spacious and had plenty of room for our group of 5. The backyard was great with the table, chairs, and fire pit. The location was perfect. Only a few minutes walk from the Mercantile, museum, coffee and outdoor shop, and Frosty. I can not stay enough how peaceful this location was. No noise whatsoever. I highly recommend the Simpsons home for your next stay. I will try and book here again for our next trip.

This was a first visit to the Shasta area and a first family vacation together. Overall we were pleased and comfortable with this home , but we also noticed right away that it wasn’t what the pictures led us to believe.

Bergen short stay

We were disappointed in the state of the front yard..just dry weeds..not good curb appeal. Strange that the only refrigerator is through a closed door in the laundry room. Experienced some big black spiders in the house. But..... we enjoyed ourselves very much. The ambiance in the house is peaceful, quiet and we had everything we needed. It is decorated "eclectic" style and fun. We enjoyed all the antique touches from the furniture to the doorknobs! But, fix the yard......had we seen an upclose picture online of the front yard, we would not have reserved this house. Thanks............Pat Bergen

Peaceful

House is well decorated and cozy. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Surrounding scenery is very beautiful and offers some nice hiking to the falls. We really enjoyed our evenings visiting around the fire in the backyard. A very nice trip.
