A big country home with plenty of room to stretch your legs. Situated on a large forested lot, this is a wonderful place for family fun. Kids will love the playground and exploring the property. You can overlook the yard and playground from the large wrap around deck. Prepare your meals on the gas BBQ. and enjoy with comfortable outdoor dining. Take a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Hot tub Included. Enjoy your morning coffee as the forest comes alive.
Indoors features a big country kitchen well equipped with everything you need to make your signature dish. Open to the vaulted living room with plenty of seating at the bar or table. The comfortable living room has great views to the outside. Three bedrooms & a private studio round out this spacious home. Shasta woodlands is a great home for family gatherings or a ladies retreat. Downtown Mount Shasta, Lake Siskiyou, The Ski Park and more is just a few minuets away. The "Shasta Cottage is a seperate unit but can be rented with the main home.

The property is conveniently located near fwy 5 and mt Shasta trailheads. Everything was clean and nice. It’s actually more like 4 separate bedrooms, not 3, easily accommodates 4 hiker buddies in a separate beds. Hot tub with the forest view is nice after a hike. Peter, the manager, was super friendly and accommodating.Can absolutely recommend.

Fabulous time

This house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space. The hot tub was very appreciated after a day on the slopes. The main bedroom with the comfy king bed was fabulous! Beautiful linens and a great place. The heaters kept us toasty warm. The rental company was wonderful to work with.

Too hot in the summer

We stayed in July and some of the nights were hard to sleep. The AC system did not cool the house below 82 degrees in any room except for the pull out coach room.

A group of women friends enjoyed this location in June2026. The place was spacious, plenty of parking, did not have central air but plenty of fans and window air conditioners to keep the place cool, with an amazing surround porch on a beautiful wooden property. We liked that this location was not 'in town" but only 5 minute drive away. My only complaints was the master bed was too soft and one of the air units output hose was pulled away from the window. I txted the location about this in the evening and they promptly fixed it the next day. Would definitely stay again.

There were no instructions for the hot tub. In the morning, we went out there and it was stone cold. There was nothing to tell you that you needed to heat it up ahead of time, etc. Although when we checked in that evening, a friend tested it and it was warm.We didn’t realize we would be next to a lumberyard – however there was only noise one evening when they were moving dirt.

Hot tub Included in this rental at no additional charge. We clean and preform maintenance regularly on the hot tub and make every effort to ensure this accommodation is available to you. Due to the rough weather conditions of Far Norther California, the electrical grid and appliances connected to them take a beating as well as other issues such a frozen / cracked pipes. This is a remote part of the state with major parts houses and service tecs over a hour away. We understand the hot tub is a primary amenity guest are looking for and due our utmost best to make sure its available when you arrive. If you have a issue with the hot tub during your stay please lee us know. Thank you.
