Welcome to Hello Indigo, your lakehouse retreat on Lake Texoma on prestigious Preston Peninsula!

Come enjoy your very own lakeside retreat that is within walking distance to the sandy beaches of Lake Texoma and allows privacy by backing to the wooded Corps of Engineers. Bask in the beautiful mature trees surrounding this space on the covered front porch or 2 private back porches, along with a stone fire pit to enjoy smores with your family and friends. Huge side patio with plenty of seating for your whole group to enjoy the stars at night. The downstairs area includes an open kitchen, dining, and living room, spacious owner's bedroom with king bed and full bath. Upstairs there are two full bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom #2 includes a King Bed, dedicated working space, and even an upstairs deck to enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature that surround you. Bedroom #3 is a spacious bunk room for kids, teens, and adults alike with 2 double/queen bunk beds, toys & puzzles for your kiddos entertainment, and a TV as well to enjoy everyone's favorite shows/movies. Full Size appliances and full size washer/dryer will take care of all of your friends/family needs during your stay.

The Game shed also has entertainment for adults and kids: full size ping pong table, darts, corn hole, electronic basketball, and a 65 inch screen TV to enjoy all your favorite sports games and shows. In the backyard you'll find horseshoes and a picnic table to relax outside.

This property is perfect for your romantic getaway, family vacation, or quiet workspace. Located 1 hour north of Dallas. Property has covered parking and guests can also park in the rocky area next to the house. Pull through driveway is very convenient when you bring your boat for the lake.

Additionally you have access to a trail right off the property that leads to a fishing cove and mountain biking trails. And just a quick five minute walk down the street to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches Lake Texoma offers. Custom interior designed touches throughout the house will make you feel right at home in this luxurious lakeside retreat. Come enjoy Lake Texoma at its finest at Hello Indigo!

We had a great stay over New Year’s. The home was very clean, and check-in was easy and seamless. The area is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful spots to hike along the lake nearby. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay again.

Lake Texoma getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very nicely taken care of. It was a close walk to the beach. The barn was fun to hang in play corn hole and ping pong. It was the perfect getaway home in Lake Texoma!!

Great time at the lake

First of all wanted to say that Host is super awesome. We were granted early check in wich we really appreciate as we were traveling and arrived earlier. Cabin is awesome. Feels like you are far away in a forest with a 5 minute walk to the lake. Thank you for such a great time. We defenetly will be back!

Family Holiday Getaway

Great Weekend Getaway

It was big enough for 2 families with 3 kids each. The party helped entertain in the evening. Would recommend to anyone. I know there was another comment about bugs and it was what was expected a lake house surrounded by trees.

HIDDEN GEM!

We loved everything about the INDIGO house. The balconies, the ambiance of the house, the decor. Our favorite was the party barn. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit, bbq outside and visit the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Celtic festival in downtown Sherman where our son was competing. We hope to be back to soon! Thank you!

Very quiet place in the wood, almost. Trail to lake. Spaces for parking. A separated game room. The only issue we had access to the water at the lake. We didn't know if we were crossing into other people's property. Not an ideal place for fishing. Overall I love the quietness and wood surrounding. I would recommend and definitely come back again.

Fun family lake get away!

Planned a short family fishing trip. The house was the cutest house in the neighborhood! The owners were so organized with a welcome book with all the info you could need. Plenty of space. Modern amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The 4 and 7 year old LOVED the kids bedroom. We rented a golf cart to ride around the neighborhoods. We chartered a fishing trip and were able to meet the guide at the marina only a mile away from the house. There's a State Park beach a few miles away. There is a great grocery store 15 minutes away in Pottsboro. The home owners provided almost anything you could need. My 7 y/o granddaughter cried when we had to leave. I highly recommend!!

Recent stay

Overall, we enjoyed the property, however, there was no key to the "party barn" as indicated in the check in booklet. We contacted the manager who did come and open the side door, but had no access to open the garage doors. Given the heat, we were unable to utilize the party barn which was a large part of why we booked this property. I feel like more could have been done to locate a key but we had to continually reach out to the manager who was unable to offer any assistance.

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a quick little adventure away with friends and family, and that’s exactly what we got with Hello Indigo. The house is beautifully designed and had plenty of space for my whole group. The property itself is beautiful and the house was spotless when we arrived. The kids loved the bunk room and all the games, puzzles, and toys the property provided. Specifically the “party barn” was a huge hit with the kids, and adults alike. There was darts, an electronic basketball game, ping pong table, and corn hole! There was plenty of space for everyone to explore and we were all so pleasantly surprised with how quick of a walk it was to get to both the beaches and fishing cove. The kids also loved making s’mores at the fire pit. Kitchen was well equipped too! Beds were big and cozy, we really loved that there were 2 king beds to choose from for the adults. The owners and property manager were very helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. We will definitely be returning this summer or hopefully sooner!

Amazing little family reunion

Two families came together (4 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 13, 16) and had an amazing time at the lake. We came from San Diego to visit family near Dallas and wanted it to feel like a vacation for them too, hence our trip to Lake Texoma. After much research, we landed here and were not disappointed!The house had everything we needed, the description of where things were and how far was spot on (the provided maps helped too!) and we were very happy. The kids loved the bunk room, we all enjoyed the game garage. We did it all...walked to the fishing spot (although we honestly never really got around to the fishing we intended), walked to the sandy beach (yes, it is public land! Thanks for the beach chairs.), went to Lighthouse Marina and rented jet skis (brought to us by Anchor Up), paddleboards and kayak (local at the marina) and also went to an awesome inflatable obstacle course (Willow Springs Marina, highly recommend) on the OK side in Mead, complete with floating cabana. EVERYONE had an amazing time. My favorite peaceful moment was sitting on the covered back porch, sipping morning coffee and listening to cicadas and watching deer. Just awesome!!Only suggestion for improvement, I may have missed it but please mention in the description that the grill is charcoal (we erroneously assumed propane, but no worries, the little Aloha market just down the road had everything we needed!)Thank you for a wonderful vacation, different than what we typically do, but oh so wonderful!

Blue house

Upon our arrival at the lake house, we were enamored by its aesthetic appeal and perceived it to be well-maintained. However, our entire perception shifted when we commenced the cleaning process and prepared to inhabit the premises, as we discovered bed bug receptors beneath the bed in one of the rooms. This prompted me to scrutinize the bed sheets, a precautionary measure that should have been undertaken prior to our restful repose in that particular location. Blood stains were discovered on the bed within the children's room. This unfortunate occurrence significantly detracted from the overall experience. I sincerely hope that we did not inadvertently transport any bed bugs back to our residence. Fortunately, I had the foresight to capture photographic evidence, which may prove useful in the event that I do have any bed bug-related issues in the future.

Good Evening Audrey! I'm sorry it has taken me a bit to respond as we are new on vacation rental sites and were so excited about sharing our home with others! Our hopes were that our guest could have as much fun and much need family time as we have found in this home. Thank you so much for your feedback. We are out at the lake and in the country. We also noticed it is different than in the city and flying insects and bugs are just a way of life out here. However, I hate bugs and insects! We are very into natural, safer ways to control insects than harmful pesticides and chemicals. We have kids and did not want to have chemicals or chemical residues in our house. So we chose eco-friendly bug traps to help control insects and bugs in the house. (NOT BED BUGS) That being said, we would never stay at a house that has bed bugs or evidence of bed bugs! This is our vacation home and we come up every chance we can get! As you can tell that would gross me out and our family wouldn't stay at the property! We gave you a 5 star review because we had no issues nor did you contact us during your stay. Again, you were one of our first guest and assumed you had just a great time as we do when visiting the home. If the thought of bed bugs crossed your mind, why did you stay in a property the whole weekend and take the chance to bring them to your home? I would definitely not stay at a property or would I be able to sleep at night. Why didn't you call us! This could have been easily avoided and I could have explained the insect sticky traps. We had to find out your concerns on a review! We have had the property inspected for bed bugs and this occurred us an additional cost that could have been avoided by just calling us and asking us about the bug traps. This property is Bed Bug Free. I hope that in the future you call the owners and let them know if there is any issues in your future rentals. On a side note: your allegations cost us additional expenses to verify we are bud bug free and cost us rentals because of the allegations that we not true!

We both grow up in Texas and had grandparents that allowed us to roam their countryside properities and wished to give the same to our children. We have three little ones and are in the current phase of life where sports and activities keep us extremely busy on the weekends. We enjoy sharing our lakeside retreat with others in the hopes you make the same life long lasting family memories we do every time we visit Hello Indigo on Lake Texoma.
