Grape Creek Cleanest HOME 2 bed =Winter& FALL 1ba 1 bed July 1/2miLake Hiawassee

The person who complained stayed in 105 degree weather July 1-5. I Personally CLEANED every sheet, towel, bedspread, comforter, blanket since last person that complained about being hot and still used every one blanket, sheet, towel, blanket, comforter, bed spread in the house. The neighbor told me they had 8 people 1st night and the max of this home is 5 since 1 bathroom per ad Vrbo.
DON"T COME IN JULY OR AUGUST IF YOU WANT BEST AIRCONDITIONING. MINISPLIT HAS A SETTING FOR DRYNESS.
The internet works but no codes for security set up yet.They just didn't know how to connect with directions under and on box. Their complaints are over the top to say the least. Spiders&bugs on screened porch and her pic of spiders and bugs were the screened porch, NOT inside the HOME, Its hard to ever get better after crazy folks don't know what to do or how to use things. DON"T use the upstairs in the summer months it was 100 degrees everyday they were there and even over 100 some days. NO AIR UPSTAIRS.

I personally knocked down cobwebs 3 days before arrival inside the home. The owner was the last one in the home April 2024. They did a good job cleaning and I mopped floors and knocked down inside webs. I even stood in the shower and removed the dead bugs myself. I do think this person was a plant form a city rental company trying to take over rentals in my rural area as they did 1st year of covid. I'm pretty used to this false behavior, but dont' make rating any better since you can never get rid of FAKE reviews in real estate.

NO INTERNET A REAL VACATION! A real vacation, just plain old dvd/cd player only with good collection of dvd that stay at the cabin please. Extremely cozy comfortable Modified A frame with 2 beds 1 bath (with shower only no tub)Rocking chair screened front porch tastefully decorated with King bed on the main level, queen bed upper level and trundle bed (2 twin beds-stacked)that sleeps 2 more if pulled out. Max capacity is 5 if you have 2 couples and 2 kids ok. it great but only 1 small bathroom. main level queen bed, Upper level has queen and trundle bunk beds (NOTE Narrow stairs to the upper level with handrail) The lake is only 1/2 mile away to put in your boat. Bring the fishing rods ,rafts, kayaks, swimming storkels, flippers and let the kids swim @ lake, pack a lunch. Porch is large enough for you all to sit outside. Firepit outdoors seats 4 comfortably, bring 2 more chairs. Pick up the woods to get your firewood instead of buying it if you wish. Lot is a full 1 acre wooded with privacy tucked up in the woods away from the road. If you bring your dog (Dog fee is for extra cleaning only $50 1 dog) you will have to keep on leash as there is covered front porch and open pasture looking front yard, no fence. Front porch is good for lake gear & just relaxing. We allow you to use if we know ahead of time basement unlocked for you, otherwise locked. Please treat the home as if you own it. There are enough dishes for hand washing them after each meal or you can bring your own paper plates if you don't like washing dishes by hand each meal. No lobster pot or Turkey roaster so bring tinfoil pans if you need to cook any in Apartment sized stove/oven. I would buy anting over 12 -14 lbs for this stove since small one. Seating for 4 at table and bar holds 2 to sit if needed. Comfortably can accommodate 2- 4 but if you have 6 people for 1 bath/shower up to you and only 860 sq feet so that means close proximity if it rains outside. ENJOY!You are in the mountains now so don't worry about work. My cell Verizon texts there or use the WIFI Internet available at the the home. So . A real vacation. washing machine and dryer are available if you reserve basement for lake toys, ect. Please enjoy and it's not a fancy place but is very comfortable for a smaller family or a couple here. There are a ton of Appalachian trails to walk/hike, walking trails downtown Murphy around river parks, you can drive to anywhere in 2 hours to the city Ashville, NC, Chatanooga, TN, Knoxville, Tn or Greenville, SC, Atlanta, GA..Please know this is window central heat and air with a mini split in the wall for both. You need to make sure and not put anything over the baseboard heaters in rooms please. No smoking inside home and no open doors and windows when smoking on screened porch. Pretend it's your house and clean as you go because If you don't we will charge extra for cleaning. If you stay more than a few days please take your trash to the grape creek dumpsters on your way out. window air conditioner in upper. HOT UPSTAIRS IN SUMMER WITH (90-100 degrees outside, so just don't book in July or AUGUST only 2 main level in queen bedroom only for summer months so don't book 3-6 in summer. INTERNET WORKS AND HAS Code at the home on back of box. Verizon wireless works on porch to text. talk in front field pasture that we own our front if you need to make calls or grape creek church next door works really good cell service for verzion mostly.
