Island House Beach Resort - Playa Crescent, Siesta Key Florida. Unidad de 2do piso, 2 habitaciones, 2 baños. Este complejo muy bien cuidado se encuentra en una de las mejores playas de Florida. Este condominio ofrece una vista de palmeras, arena blanca y las aguas turquesas del Golfo de México. La vista es pintoresca y las puestas de sol son magníficas. La unidad es de 1300 pies cuadrados, sin alfombras y se encuentra en el segundo piso. Cuenta con una gran sala de estar, cocina completa, todos los electrodomésticos, área de comedor, 2 baños completos y una terraza grande. Wi-Fi gratis en la unidad! Las unidades tienen un rey, 2 gemelos, sofá cama. El complejo cuenta con 2 cabañas de playa, sillas de playa y un pintoresco patio con tejo. We had a great experience at Island House Resort. The host was very accommodating during the stay contacting us prior to arrival and departure. Views of the beach were amazing. Easy to get on and off the resort.

Beautiful View, But Lots of Room For Improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from 4S is beautiful, and proximity to the beach is great, but there are a lot of things that need improvement within 4S. First, this unit has not had a deep cleaning in a long time and it shows. The floors were filthy and bottoms of our feet were routinely dark. The toilet bowl brushes under the sink are just thrown in the cabinet, next to the clean towels, which is gross. The kitchen cabinets are highly disorganized, with items thrown in random drawers and cabinets (only exception was the cabinet with the dishes, which was well organized). The utility closet in the kitchen is a mess, and not safe for children. The unit is not designed well for families with young children - there is no bathtub to bathe little ones, the fan on the lanai does not have an on/off switch (you have to unplug a dangerous cord that simply hangs to the side), and there are no rugs anywhere, so no place for babies to play on the ground (other than just putting them directly on the cold and dirty tile floor). The bedding in the guest room is extremely cheap/low quality (part of Target's "college collection" comforters). Lastly, the owners of 4S lock the full front closet so there is minimal storage for toys/stroller/cooler, etc. For the price, I would have expected a nicer stay. It doesn't need to be fancy at all, but please do the basics - - - clean unit, child safe unit, organized unit. I have been going to Island House for 35 years and was disappointed with this unit.

The view from the screened in balcony was lovely. However, the coffee pot was deplorable; full of coffee grounds and dirty. The closet in the kitchen is a disaster; a jumbled mess of junk piled on top of the hot water heater. The washing machine is rusty; unappealing to do laundry. MOST IMPORTANT, there is an electrical issue in the second bedroom; there appears to be a short in the circuit. Other electrical outlets throughout are problematic; plugs fall out. The condo building is showing its age.

Had everything we needed for our stay. There is a good sizeKitchen, large bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable living room and two porches. I would highly recommend this rental.

Our condo was clean, updated, so much more spacious that we had thought and the location was perfect. The view on our screened lanai of the beach was beautiful. We watched the sunset every night from our screened lanai. The bathrooms were updated, clean, and the beds perfect. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again at Island House Beach!

loved the beach, but not the condo

The condo doors were too narrow for wheelchair to use bathroom, bathroom in guest bedroom was very intrusive as it had to be accessed from the living room, no grab bars for shower. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. The rest of the condo was lovely. It should not be classified as handicap accessible though. I love The Island House and just wish there was a true handicap accessible condo.
