Amazing place! Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, Sonos speakers and comfortable beds. The place has been really well maintained which gives it home away from home vibes.

Coyote Run Retreat- third time visit..that says it all!

This house has everything one needs for comfort and style. It's super organized, with lots of closets, clean as can be, and feels like a home. Add that to its great location to skiing and downtown Truckee, and that adds up to 5* rating! No complaints!

Beautiful corner lot property. Love that you can walk around to the backyard picnic area. Didn't realize the pool amenities for Old Greenwood were 85/day and that youre Required to book it for the entire stay, not just a couple days. So that was an extra few hundred dollars we were not expecting to pay. However, once we went to the pool with our kids (5, 3, & 8months old), the bar/food area (go for beers vs coktails) the water slide, the splash pad, the clean bathrooms with giants stalls (perfect for me and my toddler to fit during potty breaks!), the showers and lockers were all kept in great shape. We didn't even have to bring floaties, they have them there! All sizes and styles! Pool towels provided. Love that you can sit Anywhere you want and they come to serve you at the pool. The house and people were amazing. We would LOVE to come back and book again next year with our Sasquatch Baseball team.

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the beautiful property and that the Old Greenwood amenities were such a hit with your family. We appreciate your feedback regarding the amenity fee and booking requirements, and understand how an unexpected additional cost can be frustrating. It’s wonderful to hear the home, pool facilities, and staff made for a memorable stay. We’d love to welcome you and the Sasquatch Baseball team back next year!

8/10 Bueno

spacious, comfortable home close to amenities

Home was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with kitchen items and recreational supplies. Loved being right on the bike trail, we cycled to Northstar and downtown Truckee. Easy to get to the grocery store and a variety of restaurants. Short drive to get to activities in various locations around North Lake. The upstairs air-conditioning was a bonus during a hot week. Our family paid extra for access to Tahoe Mountain Club and really enjoyed it.

Perfect retreat, perfect location

Coyote Run Retreat Is a beautiful lodge style house with an open sunny great room and luxurious master bedroom. There is additional sleeping for many more downstairs. The construction is recent and the kitchen has everything. The location is perfect. The house is at the end of the row, there is a modern Raleigh's supermarket nearby, Truckee is close in one direction and Northstar and other ski resorts the other direction. Four bikes are available and a beautiful bike trail is only feet from the front door. A perfect escape in summer, fall, spring or winter.

Thank you for your feedback, Robert. I understand your frustrations regarding the wait at check-in and the AC issues you experienced. We typically strive for a smooth check-in, so I apologize that this was not the case during your stay. The property’s air conditioning is for the upstairs only, we are sorry you missed this in the listing. I’ll ensure your comments are shared with our team for future improvements. We appreciate your insights.
