Great layout, 3 rooms with king beds, wonderful amenities with pool table and TV in upstairs loft. Perfect for my extended family visit for Thanksgiving!!

Great home, very clean, well stocked kitchen, beautiful deck that overlooks forest. Tahoe Getaway was very responsive to our calls and requests during our stay. They are an EXCELLENT management company. I highly recommend them. House was stocked with Tahoe Getaway beach towels, hand soap, shampoo and Cream rinse. THe office staff were just amazing… We will definitely return next year. The family that owns this home has done an excellent job maintaining the property and I truly want to thank them for sharing their home with us.

Great location. Although pricey, the availability of the HOA facilities was great…good gym, lap pools etc. ( Trout Creek I think) was very nice and access to pickleball and private marina also good. Having a hot tub and pool table was fun. Beautiful property and spacious home…a little outdated, but very lovely setting and lots of dishes! We had a great time and I would book again. The only complaint is the directions for using the HOA need to be clearer…I called several times and it was very hard to reach the company in charge to find accurate answers about this. Also, when there was no laundry soap on arrival…I was told it would arrive that evening or next morning…nothing came until a day later after we already purchased. The people answering the phone were very friendly and cooperative, but answers were sometimes hard to get. Overall,the stay was very wonderful

We had a fantastic time staying at the dogwoods cabin! The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed and the shower pressure was great. Two very important things for me and my wife. The front has one of the only grass yards in the neighborhood which was great for us and our dog. The backyard had a nice deck and the privacy created by the trees was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay Vacation!

We loved your beautiful home! It was the perfect size for our family of six and our pup. The beds were all super cozy and the house was very open. Plenty of room for all of us to cozy up and watch a movie and even play some card games at the large dining room table. We couldn't find any horse shoes in the home, so we bought our own to play and had a great time! We enjoyed using the beautiful hot tub as well. The only suggestion I would make is to change the kitchen sink out because it's not well designed. You don't have much room to wash your dishes on the side where the garbage disposal is. Water pressure is also very low as well and could be a little bit more. We were also told the garbage would be picked up that Tuesday morning, but it never was picked up. We did not ever have the garbage box blocked, due to your instructions. There was plenty of room, but thought I would mention it for any future issues. Great place and we would love to come back and visit next year! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Spacious and comfortable

Awesome house just as advertised. Plenty of room for my wife and I, 2 kids and 2 grandkids ( well behaved dog!). Large master bedroom plus living space for toddlers. Appreciated the hot tub and pool table which were well used. Plus liked the large kitchen with an eclectic batch of utensils and multiple appliances. Minor suggestion to provide more dish towels and/or laundry detergent. Prompt communication with management company. Also appreciated prompt snow plowing after heavy snow fall.

Great cabin for family snow trip

Thank you so much to the hosts and the managers. Check-in was easy and remote, communication handled promptly. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids 9 & 12) and our niece and her fiancé. Close to town for shopping, dining, close to Palisades and Northstar for skiing, wife and niece enjoyed a sauna/spa day at the Donner club, and we all enjoyed the hot tub at the house after a long day on the slopes. Pool table and upstairs play area a real bonus to allow adults some space from TV/video/kid energy. Lots of space and gas stove in LR made it all super cozy. Beds and pillows were good, kitchen was totally adequate (electric range not my favorite), big fridge, lots of ice, plenty of dishes, plates, cutlery, serving stuff, coffee mugs! *** WARNING *** the living room couch is extremely comfortable and caused napping after one cocktail before dinner -- I advise you to proceed with caution. Also thanks for being pet friendly -- it made the trip complete to bring our pup up to the snow for the first time!

Vacation at Dogwood

We love this home - its size, location, pool table and hot tub. Appliances are old (stove and dishwasher) and could be updated but everything else is in great shape. The main kitchen window was boarded up from snow damage but I'm sure that's temporary. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

Tahoe Donner Gem

It was an amazing stay for our group of small families (family with kids and 2 adult couples). We enjoyed the comfortable and well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms, spacious living room and game room, hottub and beautiful backyard snowy meadow along the golf course. We will definitely book this home again!

Donner New Year’s 2023

Great house, especially for teens (pool table, hot tub, great living room)!!! Lots of kitchen gear for cooking in. Great property management. Be prepared for some possible work depending on timing of heavy snow. It’s dog friendly, but there seemed to be dog hair around from previous guests that could have been cleaned better for future guests with allergies, etc.

Great place to stay!

We had enjoyed our family vacation. The property was exactly as shown and was very clean. The only small challenge we had was that there were very few towels provided (none in the kitchen), so you may want to bring a few of your own. The house was perfect - offering plenty of space for a our family (and dogs) to relax that was warm and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, quiet getaway!

We experienced an amazing stay at this property. It had all of the amenities we were looking for (hot tub, pool table, dog friendly, walkable neighborhood) in a weekend getaway. The place was clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and everything we used was in working order. The neighborhood itself was quiet and very walkable with our small dog. It was an unseasonably warm weekend and the first night we were a bit hot/stuffy, but found fans in every closet and slept well after that! We will definitely keep this property in mind for any future stays. Also, our teens found it cool that we saw a coyote and deer in the neighborhood on the morning we drove in. An overall excellent weekend!

Winter Visit

This home was great and our second visit. A great location and a great home for our kids and dog. Some older materials in the house with a dripping faucet, stained dishes, cabinets, and appliances. Overall happy with our stay and would come back.

Good location, big house. Clean on arrival. Lots of back and forth extra steps with the property management company before we even arrived (more emails, contracts to sign, needed to send an ID, etc.).

Excellent place to stay for vacation!

This place was beautiful! A lot of space for everyone and all the amenities were great! The Jacuzzi worked great! Great service. The construction on the road was the only issue but it wasn't really a problem, and I was told before I arrived about it so I knew to expect it.
