For were this apartment was, and the room and accommodations I would say that this was absolutely outstanding that was six adults three pairs and we all were comfortable and very homely and to top it off. It is right in the middle of everything parking good food good apartment . I would do it again next year if given a chance in a heartbeat, also excellent parking in the parking deck.

The condo was perfect for our family 0f 8. There was a patio chair that was ripped , on the balcony and the living room sofa and arm chairs looked a little old and tired.The dinnerware, condiments and glassware were plenty and appreciated. All in all ,we had a great stay.

With the Harbor Walk just outside the Front Door and all the amenities and activities in walking distance this is a wonderful place to stay and the views are spectacular.

Great view and easy access to the Harbor

Emerald Grande is a great centrally located complex. The condo we stayed in was clean with comfortable beds and plenty of space.

Everything in the rental was beautiful and clean. The views were incredible! Checking in was easy, although Emerald Grande required us to be a credit card down for a security deposit. This was not expected and was a minor inconvenience...not something you expect with a VRBO. The downside to the condo was: the weird ball lights off two of the bedrooms were bright all night and the traffic noise traveled up so it was difficult to fall asleep. The amenities were great and we took advantage of the well-equipped gym and adult hot tub. The location was great and easy to get to all the local restaurants and bars. We had a great trip even with the cold weather!

FABULOUS property!

Best spot at Emerald Grande. Overlooks all of the water front and crab island. The property was immaculate, kitchen had all the equipment and plus some. Very cozy beds and best view of the 9pm fireworks on Thursday down at the harbor. Can’t wait to go back!

Unit was exactly has described. 4 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. Condo was right near all the action and we were able to walk most places. Dolphin sightings were a daily thing, and the grandkids loved watching them from the deck.

Wedding Trip

Our son got married at the Emerald Grande so we wanted to stay on sight in a unit that offered plenty of room for my family as well as my elderly parents. This unit was perfect. Plenty of room and amazing views. We visited many other units at the Grande while visiting other family members that were also attending the wedding. Ours was hands down the best one we saw. The owner was very nice and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

The resort itself and the staff were amazing. However, the price of the condo is only the location and view. It was not as large as i expected, the kitchen is not fully equipped for a long stay so be prepared to bring baking sheets, extra pots/pans, and all your seasonings if you plan to cook, bring detergent so you can wash towels because they are limited, furniture is uncomfortable, ice maker only makes crushed ice so you will have to pull the ice machine out for cubes, and there is no food pantry for storage only a free standing shelving unit in the dining area. This listing also states “no pets” in the unit yet there is a dog kennel next to the washer/dryer that is full of pup hair so if allergic be prepared. I am highly familiar with VRBO and rental processes, but we did not receive the usual check-in/out instructions via email and the hotel staff did not know anything about the specific third party condo either. We just used our best judgement on what needed to be done. I tried to ask the host Ron some questions prior to our stay with no response. I also attempted to ask about our condo specific instructions and all he would say is “it’s in the welcome guide” but after explaining we did not receive one I had no more responses from him. Overall, it felt more like an overpriced hotel room vs a luxury condo but the beds were comfortable and TVs were nice size.

Thank you for your feedback. While we’re glad you enjoyed the resort and location, this review is not unexpected given the last-minute cancellation request that was denied prior to arrival. For clarity, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and baking sheets, as outlined in our listing and confirmed by many prior guests. As with most vacation rentals, we provide starter supplies, with additional items available locally for longer stays. The statement regarding missing check-in instructions is factually incorrect. The Welcome Guide must be accessed to obtain the property address and unit details, and that same guide contains all check-in and check-out instructions—These details are also sent multiple times via email prior to arrival. Additionally, the claim that we were unresponsive is inaccurate. There were more than 15 email exchanges with this guest prior to arrival, and all questions were addressed. We stand by the accuracy of our listing, our excellent communication and experience we provide to our guests.

The condo was great for the toddler and other family members we had with us. The only downside to the condo was the traffic noise from the bridge below us. I thought that being 8 floors up would soften the traffic noise, but I was mistaken. You really heard the traffic noise when sitting out on the nice balcony. The pool was enjoyable, and the walk-in feature of the pool was great for our granddaughter. The private beach was ok as the schedule to get to the beach was based on the boat taxi. Even though the boat left every 30 min it still seemed somewhat limiting. Also, would be better for the beach to have porta potties available rather than rely on the boat bathroom as the boat is not there the entire time.

Yes, there is noise when you step outside of any balcony, anywhere…we are on the Harbor but majority of people enjoy the sounds of the birds, the boats passing by and families having fun! I can not, in any world, imagine porta potties, on ANY beach!!!! Bathrooms have never been an issue for us as we know the boat will be there every 30 minutes, like clockwork! We find it extremely convenient and something you do not get at most beaches! Plus, all chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided & set up for you. You do not have to haul anything to the beach unless you want to bring your own cooler. I can’t imagine a better Beach and set up that.!!!!!

Condo good/minor things

Washing machine was broken ..needs ice maker .. property manager never responded to simple questions. Front desk was very helpful and quick. Indoor pool was closed although it was raining outside.. we sat out in the rain and the outdoor bar was aLao closed even though there were lots of people fighting the weather.

This guest almost had her reservation canceled because she would not pay her balance…despite me emailing her 8 times. Once I told her, her name will not be at front desk and she will not be able to check in until balance is paid, then she finally paid her balance. There is no issue with washing machine, it is less than a year old…guest did not know how to use it. There is ice maker on freezer door also down the hall is a commercial ice maker for guest.
