This home, with its brand new contemporary interior, spacious and private setting, and beautiful views of both farmland and mountains, is just the place to settle in and plan your adventures in the area. A relaxing deck area with a table and seating, is great for enjoying morning coffee, or gazing at Montana's Big Sky at night. A gas-operated wood-stove-style fireplace in the living room offers cozy ambiance. Mini-split units in the living room, and all three bedrooms offer zonal heating/cooling for optimum comfort. Five minutes from convenience groceries, fuel, drug store, and ten minutes from historic Hamilton, established by thoroughbred horse icon Marcus Daly. Short bike ride to trails and river access.
Dogs welcome upon approval. Pet fee and current vaccination records required. Property is not fenced, so pets and children must be supervised.

This home is in a great location, just a few minutes from Hamilton, making it a great base for exploring the area. The property itself was very clean and well-maintained, and the view of the valley from the living room was beautiful.However, there are a few things worth noting for future guests. The house wasn’t as well stocked as we expected, so it’s important to bring your own essentials like trash bags, washer pods, dryer sheets, paper towels, and paper plates. We also found that the checkout list was a bit lengthy, which became challenging when we had to leave early. I wasn’t able to complete everything on the list and still get my family out the door on time, so I would recommend planning ahead if you're on a tight schedule.Lastly, there was some roofing material and a few screws in the driveway, likely leftover from recent work, but this didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall, we had a positive experience. It’s a nice place with a lot of potential, especially due to the location and views.

Clean, comfortable, nicely updated & decorated interior. Host were welcoming & responsive with messages. Conveniently located near Hamilton for our purposes. Yard was a disappointment due to dead lawn & not as pictured. Check out tasks were more than expected.

Comfortable little house near most of the Hamilton things we came the valley to do. Beds/pillows are very comfortable and mini splits kept the entire house comfortable day and night. There was plenty of room to walk the dog in the yard. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place

Roomy, clean and has everything you could need. Loved the individual climate control for each room. Large driveway was great for our trailer of atvs.

This house was such a relaxing getaway. It had a beautiful property and lots of privacy. The house itself was super spacious and had so many places to express your creativity. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Very comfy and clean

This was very clean and had beautiful views of the mountains. Loved it osprey perched in the tree next to the driveway. I was not able to get pictures of the three mule deer laying in the yard the morning we left.

We had a terrific stay!

The house was beautiful, clean, had every amenity. The host was prompt and attentive to our needs. She was kind and understanding when we had a few mishaps. Due to inclement weather, she offered us another night and late check out. It was a delight to stay at her property and have her as our host. We spend time in Corvallis twice a year and will definitely be booking this house again if it is available.

Beautiful Holiday Stay

This home is so lovely and cozy! We came to the Bitterroot Valley to visit our daughter and celebrate our first grandson's first Christmas and first birthday. This beautiful home is warm, safe, inviting, and comfortable and we are very grateful it was available!

Lovely house, all the amenities, great location

We stayed for an extended weekend for a volleyball tournament in Corvallis. The house was perfect for us, it had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and the beds were comfy. Loved the homey feel. Enjoyed 3 hikes within 15 mins of the house between games. Gayle answered all my questions right away.

Cozy House

We enjoyed staying here. It was a comfortable House with all the necessities, A great view of the mountains, and Had a good sized yard for our dog. Plus It is just a short drive into town. Would recommend!

Hamilton MT Getaway

Don’t be fooled by this “rural” look. This house is 5 minutes from downtown Hamilton in Corvallis, MT. The house is beautifully remodeled. Easy access to the activities in the Bitteroot Valley. You can’t go wrong with this house!

Gayle is an artist and educator with a passion for adolescent talent development. Paul is an engineer, with an emphasis on energy and resilience. We are both life-long learners, have collaborated on authoring research related to our areas of interest, and love to travel. Hosting Airbnb guests for a year or so was a great way to open our residence to travelers from different places, and enjoy getting to know them and a bit about their lifestyles.

Now as VRBO hosts, (having purchased the property from our son, following hundreds of invested hours of debris removal and major reconstruction of the interior of the home by several family members ) we continue to make improvements to both inside and outside to offer a warm, welcoming space for people to relax in while they are in the area. It is certainly a work in progress!

In line with our interest in other cultures and regions, we hosted three exchange students this year (German, Italian, and Swiss) --the Italian for the full year--and found the experience rewarding and enlightening. We have a white Labrador retriever whom we adore, and have opened this home to pets since we appreciate being able to take our boy Jaeger with us when we travel away from home.
