Take a moment to recharge at this beautiful condo sitting on seven serene acres of apple orchards for a memorable retreat to Bethlehem. With trees and mountains surrounding this home, there is no better way to start your morning than brewing a cup of coffee and heading out to the deck to watch the sunrise. Head inside as loved ones begin to wake up and make your way to the immaculate full kitchen to whip up a delicious breakfast on modern appliances. After returning home from a day of exploring the area, break out some board games for a game night or make a bowl of popcorn and cozy up for a movie on the flatscreen TV!

This home is conveniently located just minutes from Franconia Notch off I-93, only three miles north of Franconia Village, and five miles northwest of Sugar Hill, home of the world-famous Polly's Pancake Parlor as well as Harman's Cheese and Country Store. It is also only three miles south of Littleton where you'll find plenty of shopping and, of course, Chutters candy store with the world's longest candy counter! Plus, this vacation rental is just seven miles north of Cannon Mountain for skiing in the winter and hiking trails in the summer!

Please note that this house is located on an active farm. The orchard has about 400 trees, so they will have to spend several days maintaining them and you could expect occasional machinery such as four-wheelers, chain saws, and sometimes a wood chipper.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, convenient, and well appointed. The kitchen, living, and dining areas were a nice size. There is no AC, but they provide plenty of fans. Be aware that the space-saving, corner-entry shower is very small. The bathroom is a nice size and could accommodate a full stall or larger which would be much more convenient. Also, know that not all of the large windows have curtains so keep that in mind if privacy is a concern.

Buyer beware — NOT A CONDO

I rented this unit for my daughter (25) and her friend (23) so that they could have some quiet and privacy during their visit (our house offers neither.) Turns out this “condo” didn’t either — in fact, it was not a condo at all, rather it was an apartment above a garage. NOT private, not serene, not quiet. Noisy noisy noisy and people working and gardening all day directly outside the porch door and windows. Three lawnmowers going at once. Ceiling fan controllers needed new batteries, no a/c, the washing machine threw an error 4e, and it was not clear from the listing how very close to the house it was (because it was a garage!), where people live full-time with a dog that barked at us. Plus there was a big camper in the back yard right in front of our windows. It was a crowded place and it was awkward to be around the owners of the unit, who weren’t managing it, without being introduced to them. Inside was clean but the bed was uncomfortable, pillows were bad, and sleeping was poor. We left early and we weren’t refunded our 2 days because “we could have fixed it for you.” Impossible to fix an apartment over a garage that was misadvertised as a private orchard condo. Don’t rent this one.

Freds Condo at The Orchard

Lots to love about this place, but a few insurmountable drawbacks. After reading the previous reviews, I had contacted the property manager to ensure that the internet issues had been resolved, as I had some work to do while there. I was told that the internet was working and would be more than sufficient for my working and streaming needs. It wasn't. The signal was so weak that my devices wouldn't even pick it up, although several other nearby networks were visible. Once connected, the service dropped every few minutes. The TV only gets Netflix, so no sports, no news, no network TV. With the spotty internet, even Netflix wouldn't work, and constantly buffered and dropped the shows, to the point where it wasn't worth watching. Road noise is present, we used some of the electric fans at night to dampen the noise. It's a lovely place, and would be ideal for people who plan to spend evenings reading or playing board games, which we did, and enjoyed it. It's very clean, and I loved the kitchen. The directions for getting in are NOT accurate- you don't need to bother with the lock box on the post, just type the code into the pad on the door.

Beautiful home away from home

Loved the calm and serene surrounding. House is very beautiful with a nice garden. It’s kept well maintained and clean. It comes with all the amenities. No disturbances and no noise. It’s a recommendation to stay for sure

Great house & location

We loved the proximity to Franconia notch, Littleton and the Bethlehem strip. Restaurants In the area are so tasty!! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, place was clean, property manager was very responsive, just the right size for two adults and a toddler. Loved the porch and the beautiful property!! It was quiet and peaceful. Things to know: you can hear the highway but it was’t a bother. The WiFi is reported as spotty but it was not usable during our 3 night stay, despite the property manager troubleshooting. Without the internet the TV doesn’t work. AT&T gets decent service, Verizon service was not as good.

Beautiful orchard views...

This place was very clean, looked new and the ground were beautiful! We had a nice time sitting on the deck enjoying the views and watching the hummingbirds. It is, however, directly next to the highway and, as you would expect, the traffic noise was constant. This was an issue for us because there is no AC and it happened to be hot during our stay. Having the windows open to try to get some cooler night air in meant it was very noisy. There were ample fans available - ceiling, floor and desk, which did help somewhat. If you don't mind highway noise this is a fantastic spot!

Clean, comfortable, convenient. All the amenities. Beautiful property with friendly owners next door. GPS took us to the house down the block. Only negative is that it’s so close to the highway, you hear the trucks and cars passing. Not a dealbreaker. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend retreat for the eclipse!

Wonderfully appointed and clean condo. Nicely laid out. We will stay again. Two Minor notes: no drawers for clothes and no dishwasher but everything was pristine and well laid out.

Great location for skiing and fun

My two teen boys and I loved our stay at this great condo for a ski trip to Cannon, which only 15 min away). Littleton, with all of its restaurants and fun, is only 10 min away. Will return!

Beautiful location and space, but be prepared for extremely limited WiFi

We loved the location and the space, but the WiFI was limited or nonexistent for our entire stay. If we had wanted to work while staying here, we would not have been able to. Expect to rough it technology-wise while you stay here.

We got to the property around 5PM. The code provided in the email did not work. So we called Vacasa and so they said that the code is not the right one. We were provided with another code. And were told that when we enter the code, to make sure to pull the door toward us and as its unlocking to pull it upwards. Now you can well imagine that this is not how a guest should be treated and have to do in order to enter the room. Just fix the door instead. So we try the new code and also doesnt work. We are then given the code to the lockbox that should have a key. That code works, but no key. There is a second lockbox there that the code has to work, but the code doesnt work. So we are on the phone with them for 2.5 hours. They are trying to reach the manager in the area, but no luck there. We finally booked elsewhere. We get a text at 1:23AM with a new code to try. Now what!? And try communicating with them, there is no one to talk to. Everyone says they will get back. And they don't. Finally they get back me to the next day that the cleaning crew went there and was able to get in. So I asked what code did they use. Maybe there is a 4th code that no one knows about. They did not respond to that. And so I requested a call back and am still waiting.

Cozy and clean cottage
