Got a message late in the day saying they simply couldn’t host us. Listing went back up at a much higher rate for the same dates.

I loved the place. It was beautiful. The double shower was great and the products in the shower made my hair feel so soft. I’m thinking of switching myself. The king bed was super comfortable and the kitchen has everything a family could need. I would definitely stay here again!

We had hard time getting our check in Information. Then when we got there the code did not work. Afterwards when staying there the AC stop working and it was 87 while staying in the room which was extremely hot in the day. We informed the host but we were extremely uncomfortable sleeping so we decided to leave a day earlier than we were supposed too. We did NOT enjoy our stay at all. Also the dryer for the clothes did not work at all. We had to hang dry some of our clothes just to get them to dry which is extremely ridiculous. Won’t stay again.

Cozy and Cute Townhouse

The property was comfortable and accommodating. It was close to our concert venue and easy to find. Host gave simple directions for check-in and check-out.

You are definitely getting what you paid for. We were told that we had a reserved parking spot in the back, but upon arrival the spot was taken by a broke down car that did not move the entire stay. Even if we wanted to park back there, there is a shipping container that makes it impossible for any truck/suv to park. The apartment itself was nice at first, but after my fiancée and I were cleaning, we found trash under the couch that was not ours. There was no cleaning supplies, and only 1 trash bag in a small can. After taking sheets off for checkout, we discovered giant stains on the mattress as well. The area is okay for dogs, but another resident allowed their dog to cover the only grass area near us with dog feces and did not clean up after them, so we continuously had to take our dogs across the street. There was broken glass everywhere outside as well. The apartment itself may be dog friendly but the area is not. The front door lock is also broken, so our door would not close multiple times and we had to manually move the metal plate for it to lock. Neighbors were great and although the area doesn’t look the best it isn’t bad, but we would not stay here again.

After booking this property for a week, I received no acknowledgment or check-in information from the host. About two hours before the listed 4:00 p.m. check-in, after several unanswered messages, I contacted VRBO. The host’s voicemail was full, and VRBO also had difficulty reaching her. I was eventually informed that cleaning was approximately 2½ hours behind and the property would not be ready as scheduled. Upon arriving, I became uncomfortable with the surroundings and noticed men watching me, with one appearing to look into my vehicle. As a woman traveling alone, this raised serious safety concerns, especially since there was little to no cell service near the property. I left immediately and contacted VRBO from a safer location with cell service. The host later stated that she manages multiple properties and was behind on cleaning, and that the place was not ready. Due to the lack of communication, delayed check-in, and my safety concerns, I chose not to stay. VRBO made repeated attempts to help and requested that the host issue a refund, but because the reservation was nonrefundable, VRBO could not refund me directly, but stated the host could. The host did not refund my money, resulting in a loss of several hundred dollars. I appreciate VRBO’s efforts, but my personal safety was more important than the financial loss. I am sharing my experience so other travelers, particularly those traveling alone, can make an informed decision before booking with this host.

Nice and clean and well kept.

It was nice and clean and well kept. The host was easy to communicate with. The neighborhood looked a little if'y at first, but it was really quite and was great. And the only other thing is the parking is tight due to a metal container set right were you park. But is all worked out. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

Broken air condition

The air conditioner was broken. The owner put a small window unit in the front of the apartment. It was miserable the first night because it was so hot. I told her that we would not be able to stay there the other two nights and she refused to give us a refund. Really rough neighborhood.

Not a good neighborhood

I am sure the apartment is as beautiful as advertised. Esmelinda is responsive and courteous; unfortunately the place is not located in a good neighborhood. After driving down the street and observing the buildings next to the rental, I decided to find a hotel for our (and my car's) safety. Even though we booked short notice with non-refundable terms, we did not set foot in the place and after voicing our concerns, it would have been nice to be offered at least a partial refund, but sadly that deemed unacceptable. Sorry Esmelinda, but I just cannot justify a good review re the neighborhood; and your unwillingness to refund, if only partially, is rather disappointing.

Not the best part of town

When we first pulled up, the street is a little run down and crowded with cars. We had trouble finding how to get to our parking spot. We have a dog. There is no grass on the street to access and broken bottles and glass everywhere. We had to call because the code didn’t work to get in. The door code gave us fits the whole stay. The apartment was hot. Only a window unit that was not on. Listing said central heat and air. And then it was reiterated in the check in email. The central air didn’t work. We called again. At first she said that’s why there’s a window unit and When I pressed on about the ad she said she would send someone in the morning. The next evening she sent a text that said she couldn’t get someone out till after we’re checked out. We were going to be there a week. The air probably never worked. The apartment was nice enough and seemed to be clean but will not stay there again.
