Hidden Dunes Cottage 198 administrado profesionalmente por Newman-Dailey

Una sinuosa pasarela a la sombra de los robles del sur conduce a la cabaña 198 de Hidden Dunes Resort, una escapada encantadora con colores alegres. Además, cottage 198 está a solo unos minutos a pie de los populares Silver Sands Outlets con cientos de diseñadores, excelentes restaurantes en el lugar y una tienda de comestibles y una tienda de playa en la calle.

Hidden Dunes ofrece seis canchas de tenis con una superficie de arcilla Rubico, que es el estándar más alto para canchas de tenis de arcilla, y se mantienen diariamente para brindar las mejores condiciones de juego. Perfect spot

This particular condo was perfect for my family - several other family members stayed in other spots on the Hidden Dunes property. The walk to the beach was not horrible and the guys were usually right there to pick us up to drive us. The setting was very serene.

We had an entirely positive stay. The cottage was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well equipped. We had two minor maintenance issues that were taken care of quickly by a very friendly and knowledgeable guy, and every member of the staff was polite and efficient. The gate-keepers were terrific! We will come back.

Service was good but disappointed about the property

The property quite old . It’s a lot different from picture on the web. We have enjoy but the second floor make too much noise . Moreover, We have got the water outages situation , but manager responded very nicely and helpful. Totally, Service was good but disappointed about the property

Lovely and just as described

We had an excellent stay and especially enjoyed the proximity to the pool as well as sitting on the screened in porch during the late afternoon rain. Beaches were lovely and not too crowded in our designated section. Beach chairs are free with the stay which made it seamless to pop up and down with our baby. The neighbors above were a bit noisy and woke our baby a couple of times one night, but otherwise everything was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Great Condo

We had a great time at Hidden Dunes. The condo was even better in person. It felt very clean and spacious. We appreciated the updated master shower too! It was a quick walk to the beach and having the 2 free beach chairs and the guys there to set them up and help carry beach gear down was awesome! Hidden Dunes felt very quaint and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great trip!! The cottage was very clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the beach and pool access. We took our one year old to the beach for the first time and she had a ball! We would definitely love to return in the future!

Best of Both Scenic Worlds

We absolutely loved the location of this cottage! It is nestled in the shady live oak and fern grove super close to the lovely large swimming pool, yet just far enough away to maintain privacy. The beach is a short 1-2 block walk from the cottage. We were happy to have complimentary beach service every day which the VRBO does not mention. The White Diamond beach service guys were very attentive and professional. We made a lot of use out of the screened-in porch while not on the beach. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because if the cottage sleeps 6 people, then there needs to be comfortable seating for 6 elsewhere in the cottage as well. Another easy chair in the LR and maybe a comfy love seat on the porch would really add a lot to this otherwise perfectly nice cottage. We would stay again. Thank you

Clean and family friendly

The condo was very nice. Walking distance to multiple family friendly environments such as, beach, basketball court, playground, pond for fishing, pools, horseshoes and corn hole, etc. the way the resort sets the umbrellas on the beach for beach service is different then I have seen before, (u-shaped), but allows for all umbrellas to see the water and you can put your personal chairs in the water. Will definitely be back to visit.

Mostly enjoyable but lacking some necessities

Nice apartment, close to the pool and walking distance from the beach. Housewares provided.... mostly. There was soap, but no shampoo, conditioner, or lotions as is common in hotel stays. A couple of dishwasher packets and laundry packets were provided as well as one coffee packet. We had a full week stay and had to ask for 2 more trash bags and an additional roll of toilet paper and were told that we "really should purchase those items" but they did comply with our request. The master bath and plumbing, in general, were faulty. It appears that when renovations were made, measurements were not exact. The faucet handle could not be fully turned due to the space between the vessel bowl sink and the mirror resulting in a trickle of water at best. Water pressure was so low that the toilet handle had to be held down to assure it actually flushed. Water pressure in the shower was lacking as well. There were no blankets for the pull out sofa bed or pillow cases for the extra pillows. We called the office to request them but got an answering service. The office closed at 5:30 The internet intermittently kicked users off and lagged a lot. For the amount we paid for a full week stay, we expected a little better quality, attention to detail, and availability of staff. There were some nice perks such as a free movie rental per day and a free adult ticket to a few local attractions each day.

Thank you for providing us this review. We are happy you were able to enjoy the proximity of this rental to the beach and pool. However, we are disheartened to learn that you had some issues. There are definitely some differences with vacation rentals versus hotels. There is not daily maid service and guests are provided one of each item to get started. Guests can then bring or purchase the brands and products they prefer. We supply one roll of bathroom tissue on the holder and a back-up under the sink, a bath soap, a roll of paper towels, and two bags per trash can. We also provide a welcome kit with a sponge, Palmolive dish soap, packets of dishwasher detergent, and packets of laundry detergent upon arrival. However as you learned, we’re happy to provide a few more items if requested. We appreciate your feedback about the water pressure and have forwarded your review to the property manager so it is inspected. Most of all, we're sorry your expectations were not met. Our team works hard to communicate what to expect in advance of your stay and provides a list of suggested items to bring when staying in a vacation rental. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and free amenities, and hope you left with wonderful memories from your Destin beach vacation.

Had a wonderful visit! Condo was all it was described to be. Clean well equipped. Would recommend getting a smart TV for main living room area.

Good size condo inside quiet complex

Place was walking distance to private beach umbrella and chairs provided. Had everything u need inside condo if u want to cook or BBQ. Pool and spa areas very clean. They Internet cut on and off but wifi did work. Overall great quiet area and would recommend staying there.

We really enjoyed the condo and overall property...

First off, the people at Newman-Dailey were great. We got to check in early and start enjoying the vacation immediately. The condo was great too as it looks just like the pictures. The only thing we didn't like about condo was the people above us. With tile or wood floors above us, you can hear the people walking everywhere, which was annoying in the morning and night time. Luckily they were only there a couple of days while we were there. The property was great...the condo has a pool basically 20 yards from the porch and the other one was maybe 50 yards. The pools were clean and felt great. The beach was also amazing and the service was awesome too. Every day, you check in on the beach and they give you an umbrella and 2 chairs. They carry your stuff to the location too. The sand was sugar and the beach clear with hardly any shells. Overall, we loved it and will be coming back (maybe just an upstairs room next time though!)
