Encantadora casa de campo del vino

Gracias por su interés en nuestra cabaña en el corazón del valle de Sonoma. Si decide venir, entonces nuestro encantador y cómodo espacio de 550 pies cuadrados lo hará feliz. Está completamente amueblado con un dormitorio separado y un baño completo, una cocina completa y sala de estar. Hay una hermosa terraza adjunta para su café de la mañana. Dobla una esquina y estarás en uno de los jardines más increíbles del país del vino.

El dormitorio cuenta con una cama queen size con vestidores y un armario para guardar mucha ropa. La cocina está equipada con platos, vasos, cuchillos, ollas y sartenes, cafetera y microondas.

Ubicada en el centro y con mucho espacio, esta cabaña cuenta con todas las comodidades del hogar, y si visita durante la cosecha, puede tener la oportunidad de hacer vino con uno de los enólogos más famosos de Sonoma.

Great location to start! Easy to get to. For two people, the space was perfect! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful! The welcome book contained great suggestions. They had a Bocce Ball court and after a Harvest Party, we came back and had a wonderful time!! I enjoyed the patio every night!

This is a great place to stay. It has all of the amenities and the host was friendly and helpful.There isn't much in the way of seating in the living room, but considering the patio and garden, i don't know why you would spend time inside!

Amazing

Very well kept and nice property. The hosts had recommendations for everything. There is a really good carnaceria on the corner. Super close to everything the Valley has to offer and a hop skip to either Napa or the Coast. Definitely, would stay again.

Sonoma garden cottage

The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. The cottage set in the hosts’ lovely garden is charming with interesting art/artistic touches and vintage furnishings making it cozy and welcoming. The kitchen, which I used a lot, is fully equipped. Even though I spent most of my time in Napa with friends, I much prefer Sonoma’s more laid back style. So this was heaven for me.

Great place!

Very nice place! Small market across the street for groceries and several good restaurants walking distance. Less than 10 min drive to Sonoma plaza. Host was great to interact with and left a binder with terrific winery and restaurant recommendations!

Wonderful retreat!!

We stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed this clean, comfortable, quiet cottage! Hosts thought of everything!! There was nothing that we were missing and everything conveniently located. Many special touches, and the garden is absolutely beautiful. We traveled to Napa daily and was very nice to stay away from the traffic and activity. Hosts, Lance and Sandy, were absolutely fantastic. I own several vacation homes myself and only hope that my guests are this happy!!

Lovely cottage; beautiful garden; friendly hosts

This is a free-standing, one bedroom cottage next to the owner's home. The cottage has a nice bathroom, fairly large living room/dining room/kitchen area, and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. A window AC unit cooled the place down fairly quickly on an unusually hot weekend. The garden is clearly a labor of love and is really beautiful. Parking was convenient in their driveway and we could walk to several food trucks and restaurants and a grocery. The hosts were fantastic and interesting people!

Excellent Stay

The cottage is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Lance was a great host we had the chance to talk to him a couple of times as he lives on the property. We got there very late and went right into the cottage and he wasn’t sure we made it so he called late at night to be sure we made it. We should’ve advised him we were there, but we didn’t want to bother him that late. Really appreciated his concern.

Sonoma stay

Cottage was spotless. Our host Lance was great and even invited us to share a glass of his homemade wine. Not your usual homemade he had 20 years experience making wines in Sonoma. Location was great. Quick access to many vineyards and 40 minute drive to Napa. Loved our visit. One note when driving to Napa GPS may suggest crossing the mountains using local roads. They were harrowing. One called Trinity Road must be named that because you find your self praying to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Couple Getaway in Wine Country

Our trip was to include the Napa Wine Train, but in general I prefer Sonoma to Napa (it’s more “real” and unpretentious). Given a foreseen split of our time between the two valleys, I didn’t really care which one our lodging was located in. But the host, Lance, did a remarkable job of conveying his property’s essence and charm via the VRBO listing. We chose Sonoma based on this cottage alone - glad we went on this path. The cottage is exactly as described and as pictured and was perfect for my wife and I. The small patio bistro table pictured in the lead photo was used by us each evening just as depicted- two glasses and a bottle of wine. One night we were treated to a taste of the initial uncorking of the host’s latest vinification; he’s a obviously a skilled and knowledgeable wine maker. His sharing of knowledge about Sonoma area activities and dining was very helpful. The cottage is very cute, cozy and clean …. exactly what we had hoped for. Given the amazing restaurants nearby, we did not use the kitchen much, but it’s fully equipped for any imaginable meal preparation or baking. Great property in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the amenities of Sonoma (the town) and the vineyards of the Sonoma Valley. We would be thrilled to return in the future!

Anniversary Celebrations

We were in the area to celebrate a 50th and 25th wedding anniversaries. This was a quiet, clean very nice place to stay. It’s centrally located in the wine country near Sonoma and Napa. Lance, our host, was very helpful with restaurants and wineries. We would definitely stay there again. Lovely deck in garden setting for sipping wine.

My wife and I have lived in Sonoma for more than 45 years. For most of that time I was a working winemaker, and my wife ran a tasting room. We love cooking, eating, and the wine country lifestyle in general. Our home is renowned throughout the industry as a mecca for hospitality.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We fell in love with Sonoma during a visit in 1976. By 1977 we had moved here and the next year I began a career in the wine business. After renting a small cottage for 23 years, my wife and I decided to build our own home. We built the main house in 2000, and the guest cottage in 2001. My wife has planted and maintains a stunning garden on the property. In short, this is a great spot in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country that we have built with our own hands.
