With beautiful views of the Southfork and the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, Cedar Mountain Retreat offers all the best of mountain modern living. The home features custom décor, furniture and modern upgrades that make it perfect for both adventure and relaxation. A newly The home features two levels of living space plus a detached game room with additional sleeping area. The main level of the home has an open living room with vaulted ceilings and wood stove. The dining room with panoramic views and ample seating with a custom built dining room table with banquet seating. Newly renovated kitchen with breakfast bar and new appliances.Down the hall are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed the other with a king bed. The main level bathroom features a jetted tub. A convenient washer and dryer are located in the hall across from the bathroom. Upstairs is the third bedroom with queen size bed and half bath. A large balcony for enjoying morning coffee or watching the sunset make this second level a wonderful retreat. The bonus detached game room features a smart tv, a fun nostalgic NFL Blitz arcade game and queen size murphy bed. All bedrooms have wall unit air conditioning for your comfort in the warmer months. Outdoors, the fenced patio area off of the dining room with a newly added hot tub, outdoor dining space and bbq grill. You can gather the family around the firepit (firewood is provided) for campfire tales and smores in the evening.
A corral for your horses, RV parking space, and detached garage for additional parking space make this a perfect home to enjoy all the area has to offer.

This cabin was a great stay for our family vacation! The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking supplies that we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this stay if you are in the area!

The house was perfect for our Honeymoon. From the pictures online I thought it would be a bit more secluded, but the neighbors weren’t very close and we didn’t even see them. The hot tub and fire pit were great because it got down to the 50’s while we were there. It was close to town and the airport. It was very well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen, including coffee and spices. There were plenty of towels, linens, and extra blankets. They even provided basic toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. We saw lots of deer and bunnies in the yard which was great! It was about an hour from Yellowstone and the drive there was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this home, especially if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

Everything was wonderful! The views will make you never want to leave. The bumpy gravel road to the cabin keep it realistic (road grater in Wyoming?) But as wonderful as this place is- I have not a negative thing to say! Mountains all around!

The property was just like the pictures on line. Enjoyed the hot tub every night after a day of sight seeing. The peaceful atmosphere and the 3 bucks running in the backyard was awesome!!

Our family stayed for a week during Cody Stampede and it was fantastic. Our new home away from home. Looking forward to booking again for next year. Made our vacation all that much better! Thank you!

Amazing House

We had such an amazing vacation! The house was perfect. All the amenities and perks you could ask for. My son (11) enjoyed sleeping in the extra game room. I loved being able to walk out on the balcony. Close drive into town and not too far from Yellowstone. Communication was spot on when we had any questions. Would highly recommend. I did miss that the property had a hot tub. Thankfully Walmart had suits so kids could enjoy. Beautiful home and thank you for opening it up to guests.

Great stay

This property was decorated so cute and so clean. Loved everything about our stay. Having 1.5 bathrooms was tricky for a party of 7 but we made it work and the listing was clear on this. Definitely would go back to this property. The bed in the game room was a great added bonus.

Beautiful Cabin and Scenery

The scenery was breathtaking! The location was a short drive to Cody. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need for cooking and baking. We enjoyed the front porch for morning coffee and the balcony off of the upstairs bedroom. The outdoor furniture and grill in the back was a nice feature. Everything is this cabin was well thought out, even down to the nightlights and toiletries. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling to this area.

The view

Overall the place was very clean and well stocked.The rooms and beds were all very comfortable. Big open living room with wood stove was nice and firewood was well stocked as well. Large 75" tv was nice for viewing the pics we took. The sofa was comfortable but although the two western style chairs looked nice they were not and are the only negative to this property IMO. We were a party of four which I think was perfect especially with 1.5 baths. There is room for more with a detached game room with a pullout bed or use as another hangout room. The dining room area and table were awesome. It offered great views as well and accommodated all 9 of us when local family came for dinner. All appliances are LG and new and worked well. FYI if phone reception is important this area is remote and no matter which carrier you have you will need to go outside or in game room to place calls etc. There is wifi that works but it is not a secured network.There was also a lot to enjoy outside here. The front porch offers great views and comfy seating. The back porch has a great sitting area with with a nice gas grill. The small porch off of the upstairs bedroom is a great place to sit and relax as well. All outdoor seating is very comfortable. The view is amazing and you sit at the bottom of Cedar Mountain. Easy access to Buffalo Bill state park and the reservoir, downtown Cody and east gate to Yellowstone. Last but not least Abby at Cody Lodging was all around awesome to deal with. Enjoy!

Great stay

We had a great Easter getaway at Cedar Mountain. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best so didn’t get outside as much as we’d like. Beautiful property with great views. My one and only complaint would be lack of comfortable seating in the living room. Couches had little neck support and the two chairs weren’t comfy. A big sectional or two comfy couches would be more accommodating to 8-9 guests

Short Winter Stay
