Dog-Friendly Home with a Hot Tub and Amazing Backyard

Relax with the whole family at this comfortable home in the quiet residential Haller Lake neighborhood. The house is located a short drive from downtown Seattle's best attractions and just minutes to light rail, stores and restaurants.

Luxury upgrades include central a/c, Molecule mattresses, Brooklinen sheets & towels and Caraway cookware. The large fully fenced yard with its hot tub and covered dining area is perfect for backyard BBQing and hanging with furry friends.

The house features 2 bedrooms, each with queen bed plus a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room that easily fits another 2 guests. There are 2 Smart TVs, lots of seating in the common areas, separate dining area, fully stocked kitchen with eating or work space, central a/c and full bathroom. The fully fenced backyard has a patio with hot tub and covered dining area. There is an attached garage that will accommodate 1 car and has a full-sized washer and dryer. Additional driveway and street parking available.

A pet fee is required if your dog/s would like to stay with you.

This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. It was impeccably clean, stylish, and beautifully appointed with luxury linens and everything you'd need for a truly comfortable stay. The welcome guide was easy to use and thorough, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Great communication from the host as well.Highly recommend!

The space was clean and comfortable. Our toddler enjoyed the open living space. The kitchen was well stocked and there were many additions that I appreciated such as hooks, a spot to put luggage, plenty of seating. A good size backyard and front yard that were fenced which was great for the dog. I also appreciated that there was not a long list of tasks to do prior to check out.

Hosts are amazing! Best communication I've ever had during my stay. Joyce goes out of her way to make you feel at home and to help make your stay the best experience ever. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this getaway location. If we travel back to Seattle, this is my first choice for a place to stay! Had a great stay in Seattle at the Courtland address. Neighborhood was friendly and the yard gave us agility to sit outside together. Kitchen was nicely appointed and grocery stores were plentiful. Place was clean and quiet. We played catch in the yard and on the street when my boys wanted to cut loose.

Great home base

We really enjoyed this small, quiet home. It had lots of character and was a perfect home base for our touring. It was close to major roads and easy to get to attractions. The house and neighborhood were nice and quiet, allowing us to sleep well and recharge between events. The beds were comfortable (no dips!) with great pillows. The property manager was very welcoming and responded promptly to questions and offered great support.

Great Stay in Josie’s Guesthouse

We booked this house to celebrate our son’s graduation from the University of Washington. It was a great home base for the weekend’s festivities. The close proximity to the Shoreline Light Link rail station made it super convenient to get to Husky Stadium. The house is cute and clean. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to others.

Well appointed, clean and comfortable

This was a business trip and in lieu of staying in a hotel I wanted something more private that had laundry and place that I could cook my own meals for the week. This home was clean bright and fresh and I highly recommend. I will definitely be staying there again on my next business trip into Seattle.

Family Getaway

Perfect house for our family of 4 and yellow Lab. The house was very clean and well decorated with plenty of seating and comfortable beds. We were close enough to the city where we caught a ball game at T-Mobile park. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful cozy home

Home is clean and has everything you would need for short and long term stays. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet/friendly neighborhood. Many neighbors are out walking dogs morning and night. We loved that both back and front yard is fenced and plenty of parking. Joyce was a wonderful host and very responsive. Flawless three-week stay

This was the perfect retreat for my husband and I while we were in town for extended medical care at UW Medical northwest. The home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with easy access to the bus system and the light rail station at Shoreline South. It is a very pleasant, 30-minute walk to the UW Medical campus. We shopped regularly at the nearby Safeway and the upscale Town and Country grocery store, and enjoyed a lovely dinner at Saltoro, a nearby Italian restaurant. The home itself was wonderful. Very well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable furniture and beds, excellent wifi and television options, spacious back yard, and our nights were quiet and restful. I'm incredibly grateful we found Joyce's sweet little guest house. Many thanks!

Family Get together

this was our second stay at the house and again it was very clean, well stocked. lots of info on the surrounding area. spent lots of time on patio very quiet peaceful neighborhood that we took evening walks. fenced and secured front and back yard. has AC but the system wasnt set low enought to keep the house cool so we bought a couple fans since the one in the garage didnt work. had plenty of bath towels and wash clothes but no hand towels.

Wonderful Home!

My communication prior to our arrival was excellent and included a home manual so I knew what to expect before we got to the house. The home is wonderful! Super clean, gorgeous and peaceful decor, comfortable furniture in all the rooms and the kitchen - wow! We were in town to visit UW Medical so it wasn't for fun, but staying here made the stress of the trip so much easier to handle. We needed to cook at the house for dietary reasons, and if you love high end appliances, this is the home for you! The home is in a very quiet neighborhood, the drapes darken the bedrooms perfectly at night and the A/C is quite adequate for comfortable sleeping. I can't think of a single thing that wasn't done to perfection. Oh wait, coasters! They were probably stashed somewhere in the multitude of cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, but I couldn't find them and worried about leaving water rings on the end tables. Paper towels did the trick though...whew! =)

This guest house was purchased with hospitality in mind and inspired by our dear pup, Josie, who was a friend to all she met. For those of you who are new to Seattle, you are in for a treat. I moved here in 1996 and fell in love with the city and surrounding area with its mild temperatures and proximity to water, mountains and rainforest. My husband grew up in the area and has lived here all his life. We have wonderful parks, hikes, winter sports, restaurants and wine just minutes away plus Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders, Storm, Reign and now the Kraken (their practice facility is in the neighborhood). Just don’t ask about the Super Sonics!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I love the Haller Lake neighborhood because it is very residential - mostly single family homes so it's quiet. It's close to light rail, UW Medical Center - Northwest, Northgate and tons of shopping. There is also Haller Lake itself which is a very close place to swim, paddleboard or float in the warm months.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love this little house with it's big fenced yard! We are continually improving it and adding more creature comforts but all of our furnishings are less than 3 years old. We added brand-new Molecule mattresses, Brooklinen sheets, towels and bedding and Caraway cookware. If you plan on cooking, there is a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need! January 2026 - hot tub now in service :)

Since we are dog lovers, we made the house dog-friendly and have provided a dog bed, food bowls and a toy or two. And, of course, we love to host so if you need something, just ask!
