Our stay in Bar Harbor was great, the house was super clean, equipped with everything we needed for LDW with 8 adults hiking Acadia park. Towels, dishwasher and laundry pods, body soap, kitchenware and the list goes on and on!

This property is very conveniently located. We could get to all points of interest within a short drive. The house itself was nice and very efficient. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

We had a great stay at Crystal's place and will stay there if we have the good fortune to visit the Bar Harbor area again. Crystal is very responsive, and the home is clean and family friendly. The amenities at the home were very much appreciated, including a complete kitchen, pack and play, booster seat, baby gate, kids' games and books in the bunk rooms and of course, the backyard! Of note is that the location is convenient to both the east and west sides of desert island, plus Ellsworth in addition to a quick drive to Acadia. Thank you, Crystal!

Got the job done

Well stocked kitchen as far as tools, pots/pane and dishes. Great location on the island for all the recreation and shopping needs. Beautiful street and property. Clean and spacious perfect for two families with young adult and teen kids. Plenty of sleeping arrangements. The fire pit, grill and basement den were an added bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would stay there again. Excellent communication with hosts. Thankful for a blessed vacation.

Amazing house that made our trip so much better!

Every year we travel with my family. It is hard to find a place that works for every age from grandparents to small children. This did that and made our trip so special. You can tell they really take care of this house and stay here also.My only complaint is that there wasn’t a couch or comfortable chairs to sit in on the main floor. Honestly, it just made us spend more time outside because it was such an amazing yard with a swing set, fire pit, table and chairs, and hot tub. If we ever come back to Maine this is the place we will stay! It was awesome!

Nice Property!

The house was very clean and conveniently located to everything we were interested in. The outside deck and fire pit were well used by our family. Crystal was very responsive to questions and concerns. We could have used a bit more indoor seating but we managed. We would visit this property again.

Just as advertised

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and very spacious! Just a short drive to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. No issues and would highly recommend.

Family Vacation

House is perfectly located for exploring Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Private setting with a great backyard to enjoy. House was clean and communication with the host was prompt. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.

Family Acadia vacation

We had a great stay, the kids loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed the hot tub after long hiking days. The house was in a perfect location for good food and visiting the park.

Bar Harbor Beauty

This property and home was very nice. The host had it ready for us on very short notice. It was spacious. The only thing missing was a sofa and.or soft chairs to sit in. There was very nice outdoor furniture and also there were dining room chairs but there was not a living or family room set up anywhere in the home for our family to hang out. The location on Mt. Desert Island was terrific and we had easy access to hiking and great food.

Trip to Acadia

Overall is good. Just need to put curtains on the windows especially in the bathrooms. It would be better if there were sofas for indoor seating.

Location, location, location

This house is a private retreat but so conveniently located! It is easy to get everywhere on the island but also only 15 minutes to Ellsworth for a large grocery store or a movie theater on a rainy day. It is a quick walk to a rocky beach just down the street and less than 2 miles from the best lobster on the island. The Travelling Lobster is not to be missed! The house itself was very comfortable. It has great outdoor space with a big private backyard. We truly enjoyed drink hours and dinners on the large deck watching the sun set through the tall pine trees. Beautiful.

Great place to experience the island

It was great overall. The house was very nice and in a good location to access every part of the island... minutes from bar harbor, from acadia, and not terribly far from the great restaurants at southeast harbor. Unless i missed something though, the ocean is more than a short walk away. Not the fault of the owners, but ocean access is not great on the island at all.

Homey and Peaceful!

We had such a nice time. Very comfortable and peaceful. Lots of room, Nice quiet yard. Younger kids loved the playground. Older family enjoyed the hot tub, back porch and we all enjoyed smores around the fire pit. Plenty of tv's for the evening. We were a short distance from hikes, beaches, lakes, restaurants. If you keep a sharp eye, you might see deer and other wildlife.
