Nuestra casa de 2 pisos está situada en la desembocadura del río Columbia, con el histórico Astoria al este y el Ft Stevens State Park justo al oeste. Este es el escape frecuente de nuestra familia, muy adecuado para maximizar la comodidad, la relajación y el rejuvenecimiento, al mismo tiempo que tiene fácil acceso a las bellezas escénicas de la costa norte, ¡el verdadero país de las maravillas del Pacífico!

La sala de estar del techo de la catedral tiene vistas completas del estuario del río Columbia, que abarca cuatro millas a través de la península de Long Beach en Washington. El estrecho canal de embarque del río Columbia está situado inmediatamente en frente de la casa y ofrece un desfile continuo de tráfico marítimo; agradable desde las sillas Adirondack del patio delantero, o desde la acogedora comodidad del sofá de nuestra sala.

Una sala de estar de 2 pisos se abre a las áreas de cocina y comedor con vistas panorámicas del río Columbia. Un SmartTV LED de 65 pulgadas se encuentra sobre una chimenea de gas y flanquea la gran ventana de la sala de estar. Las opciones de entretenimiento incluyen Home Theater con TV satelital HD que incluye canales premium, internet Wi-Fi, DVD Blu-ray Sony con Netflix y AirPlay para transmitir su música de forma inalámbrica.

Una cocina bien surtida con electrodomésticos e implementos de cocina de última generación hace que quedarse y cocinar sea un placer. Un tocador está convenientemente situado fuera de la sala principal.

Arriba hay tres habitaciones decoradas con buen gusto, cada una con una cómoda cama queen y TV. El dormitorio principal en suite tiene vestidor, sillón cómodo y vistas imponentes. Además de las tres habitaciones, hay una cama plegable en el sofá seccional de la sala de estar.

La casa está equipada con algunos de nuestros libros, libros de cocina y películas favoritos; siéntase libre de disfrutar mientras se relaja o planea excursiones de un día por la costa.

My family stayed here and absolutely loved it. The pictures just really don't do it justice. The house was so clean and well maintained. It is pet friendly however we left our fur babies at home for the mini vacation, but they had everything you could need for them. The hosts were amazing! If we ever plan to go back we'll definitely book this place again in a heart beat.

Cozy with ALL the amenities

3 generations - grandparents, parents and grandson - stayed 3 nights in this lovely, comfortable and beautiful home right on the Columbia River. This house is so well equipped with anything you might need....TV's that are great, pool table, bikes, games, great kitchen...it has it all. Very well located in Hammond. Close enough to Astoria and would rather be in Hammond. It was a wonderful 3 night stay and the owners are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at this great home !

Great Getaway

Very conveniently located between Seaside and Astoria. Perfect view and comfortable home. By far the best stocked VRBO that we have stayed in for kitchen and bathroom supplies/spices/cookware. Log in for almost all Apps on the TV's was convenient and very nice set up for watching a moving in the living room. The garage also had a nice pool and foosball table for the kids. Double washer and dryer so no need to over pack. One evening we had about 15 Elk bed down in the open lot. Great stay and would do it again.

Coastal winter

This turned out to the ideal place to comfortably enjoy freezing temperatures, high winds, and snow. And a blue sky day at the start! The accommodations were as complete as any VRBO we’ve ever experienced. Ships, Bald-eagles, a pair of Bluebirds, six spectacular bull elk at Ft. Steven’s made for great wildlife viewing.

Great stay with awesome view

Family get together from several states enjoyed this super nice home for 4 days. We loved the ever changing views, played pool in the well supplied game room, sat out at the firepit at night, and ate several meals at the house. Kitchen is well stocked as are the bed and bath line s. Loved the fluffy bath towels. Main bed was very comfy and had a great view of the Columbia. Beautiful home, would stay again!

Amazing house and wonderful amenities. All beds were super comfortable! Lots of bathroom amenities and chocolate in the kitchen. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Was worth every penny for the four of us.

Great place!

This house was just as advertised and was a very comfortable and pleasant Christmas stay for me and my family. There was a lot of attention to detail, and they provided everything you could ask for and more. I'd like to come back in the summer, because the weather was too cold and wet to enjoy all the ample amenities they have outside. Thank you!

Great water view home near Astoria!

This is a great property a few miles from Astoria with expansive views of the Columbia River. We enjoyed the home for a late Thanksgiving getaway with our family the first weekend in December. The hosts were easy to communicate with before and throughout our stay and were kind enough to allow an early checkin and late checkout. Their home was immaculate with comfortable beds, high quality linens, bath towels and bathrobes, and an extremely well stocked kitchen with basic pantry supplies and every appliance and kitchenware item you would need for any meal. Rainy weather limited our use of the outside areas (fenced back yard with patio and gas grill and both gas and wood fire pits in the front yard with open views of the Columbia), but we enjoyed the garage game-room and the comfortable living room. While there we visited the nearby Ft Stevens State Park and the Astoria Maritime Museum and enjoyed a great dinner, take-in, from The FishMongers right down the street. Would love to visit this great property again!

Family Bonding

This was a trip for myself and my adult kids. It was the perfect location and house for us to explore the surrounding area. It has wonderful view of the Colombia River and we enjoyed watching the boats go by every day. Everything and more was provided from a well stocked kitchen to comfy blankets to relax in living room. This place is amazing if you like river watching. The men all went salmon fishing and we stayed at the house. This is the best equipped house we've ever stayed Clean, comfortable and anything you forgot is here. Loved watching the fishing boats and huge ships and barges going up the river. Decided I'd love to live here year round.

Fantastic View

The home was very clean, but previous tenants left a great deal of trash outside. The owners were aware of the trash situation and comped us with an extended checkout time at the end of our stay. They were very responsive. The home was very well equipped to make our stay very enjoyable. Couldn't be happier with our time spent there and would definitely book a stay at their home in the future.

Amazing property and location!

This property was perfect for our family vacation this year! It is the perfect location between Astoria and Cannon Beach for us, and there is so much in Warrenton/Hammond as well. The property is private and has the most amazing view of the river. The property included all the perfect amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to a friend! The property accommodated our two dogs perfect as well. We had a wonderful experience!

Riverview Retreat

Very well equipped house with complete and accurate directions for use of very comfortable furnishings. The view was amazing and we enjoyed coffee on the deck with local wildlife in the yard. Wonderful place for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

As advertised and more...

A well appointed house. It had everything we could have possibly wanted. Everything was clean and in good working order. Quality cookware and cutlery. We actually had sharp knives! All three bedrooms had a queen bed. Very comfortable beds and plenty of blankets and pillows to choose from. The ship watching was awesome? Get the free app for your phone "Marine Traffic". I felt like a junkie always checking ships and bar pilot boats. A great base to discover the NW corner of Oregon from. One of, if not, the best vacation rental home we have stayed in.I highly recommend this house.

Awesome location for great views and exploring the area

This is our send time here and we are already planning when we can come back. Love to watch the boats go by in the Columbia River. House has great amenities (Fire pit, pool table and great setup to watch a movie). Close to so many great places to explore in Oregon Ft. Stevens, Seaside, Astoria) and Washington (Cape Disappointment, Long Beach). Enjoyed the local Elk herd grazing in the front yard one day!
