Your “Happy Place” on the Clark Fork in Thompson Falls, Montana

Endless fun and and eternal memories are waiting for you at the Thompson Falls Waterfront vacation rental.

This section of the Clark Fork river is on the Thompson Falls Reservoir, and is more like a lake than a river in the summertime.

Our guests love that they can go boating, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, swimming or any other water-based activity right out the back door!

With over 10 miles of navigable water, you’ll never run out of places to discover and claim as your favorite fishing hole, picnic area, or secluded day-beach.

Bring your own boat or watercraft, or rent one of our kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy watersports or just explore. Or, you can come-as-you-are and jump in for a nice swim or mellow float – it’s up to you!

Then, after a long day of play... step into our four-person hot tub for a relaxing soak and watch the sun paint vibrant colors across the river and mountains.

Then, after supper, gather around the waterside fire pit for stories and s'mores.

With everything there is to do in and around the Thompson Falls area, you'll build memories that last a lifetime.

Wonderful place - views incredible

This place is perfect for relaxing looking at the mountains. Plenty of room for 7 adults, 3 kids. Hot tub great, place to swim and float.

Great Stay

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. The space, with four bedrooms, four baths, large open kitchen/living area upstairs & large communal area downstairs accommodated our group very comfortably. We also appreciated the outdoor spaces. The property was quiet, beautiful, & spacious, & the home was well-equipped to meet all our needs.

Happy Place

Dave is an excellent host. He communicated quickly and was very helpful. The location is lovely right on the river and very comfortable. Our family had a great time!

We loved this house!!

We came for the Trout Creek Huckelberry Festival and wanted to all stay together. This house was perfect for the 10 of us. Lots of room and the view is incredible! Communicated with Dave and had quick responses ! I would recommend this to anybody!

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is perfect!! The host was amazing, and so helpful. The moment we walked in, we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and beautiful. We would give this rental more than five stars if possible. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Super comfortable - felt like home - but better!

The pictures don't do it justice! It's a VERY nice home with upscale furnishings and decor. And its BIG! Lots of room to spread out with three levels. Our teens played the old school PlayStation upstairs and we loved Movie Night more than once with the big screen and surround sound. We also loved the dock area. Can't wait to come back!

The house is wonderful and for us in the perfect location near family we were visiting. The pictures do not do this home justice. It was beautiful around. Every corner is a new thing to find and get excited about. We are very grateful that the host was willing to share his home with us.

Idyllic mountain getaway

The house was better than described. Plenty of room for large family and can’t beat the view! Beautiful Mountain views out over the river. Kayaking was peaceful and exhilarating. Caught lots of fish off the dock. Thompson falls has all you need with grocery store and local restaurants. Saw lots of wildlife nearby, deer, mountain goats. State park has fun swimming spot for kids. Great house and great vacation!

Even better than expected

This is a beautiful property! The river is calm and we were able to jump in for a cold swim every morning. The hot tub was perfect, and the views too. The house is so big! My family was in town for a wedding, and many people were in and out without ever feeling crowded. We had a minor issue with the hot water, but really can't complain because Dave was so quick to respond and help out. I've stayed in many rentals and never experienced such great communication and care from an owner. Overall easily a 5 star home and experience!

Our weekend stay at Dave’s place was absolutely incredible! I can’t say enough about the property. The house itself had everything you need and more. Clean, nice decorations, plenty of individual private space as well as group hang out space. The covered deck offered wonderful outside gathering space as well. The yard was perfect and even better as it was completely fenced in which helped wonderfully for our dogs. The property is very private as well which was a huge plus.The best thing about this house was by far the water access. Even though it’s technically on the river, it offered everything that a classic “lake home” would offer. Swimming, water sports, and all other summer activities were extremely fun and accessible. The water is crystal clean, is very deep off the dock, and hardly has any current. It was incredible. Not to mention the hot tub too!Dave was also extremely helpful and responsive for any and all questions and needs. It’s not often that I stay at a vacation rental and want to come back to that exact spot. However, Dave’s house is now at the top of our list and we will absolutely be back! Would recommend this place 100%!
