Just needed a place to stay before an early morning flight. Location was great. Accuracy the listing was fine. The only thing I could criticize is it's time for some new mattresses. But I would still stay there again for the reasons I picked at this time.

Had everything we needed in our last day in Anchorage. Close to the airport and plenty of room. Nice outdoor space. Checking in and out was great.

Bad smells in the upstairs unit. Would be best to remove area rugs altogether. They don’t improve the property. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Stayed one night before early flight.

Property is perfectly located in the middle of Anchorage, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Will be staying at this location whenever possible!

Upstairs apartment in city

The directions provided by the owner helped us understand where to park and how to get into the apartment. The home is converted into two apartments but it’s not ideal as there is an old doorway which was blocked off to separate the upstairs from the downstairs. The neighborhood is okay, but not great. My family was woken up by our downstairs neighbors leaving at 3am. The bathroom was nicely renovated and the beds were comfortable though. It was sufficient for a single night but I wouldn’t want to stay much longer than that.

Was fine for overnight. Bedrooms and kitchen were clean. Bathroom needs a good scrub so we didn't shower. Quiet neighborhood but neighbors behind and to the side have lots of cars, tarped buildings, etc. so not a view from the front or the deck you might expect. Not owners fault but is a factor in the rating. Great communication from owner on key lock, parking, etc.

This property obviously has no cleaning service, or a very poor one. The shower was dirty, as was the vent in the bathroom. The entire place had a very musty smell. The bedding needed to be replaced. One pillow case had a concerning stain. I set the washer to cold wash, only to realize when the cycle was done, that it had used hot. The deck is dirty, and has a power of phone line hanging within reach. I am glad we only had a one night stay here before our flight.

Good location

Karina was very responsive and the space fit our needs. The home was close to shopping, coffee shops, restaurants and a local brewery. We enjoyed our evenings on the deck as well!

Clean Me Not or Forget This Place

This place is disgusting! Dirty, old, reeks of mold, not cleaned in months, neighborhood’s sketchy, yard’s deplorable. NONE of VRBO pics are accurate/current. Worst experience ever! VRBO should visit this place & see it’s NOT up to their standards & host is scamming people w/false advertising. Spoke to VRBO an hour, agent understood I DID NOT want to talk to the scammers directly, asked for our pics, but we were disconnected. Called help #, another agent also agreed I shouldn’t have to talk to her but he still connected me w/Karina anyways, THEN SAID BYE & HUNG UP! *Karina was immediately defensive & so rude, literally yelling at me for complaining at all. Totally disrespectful, just mocking me, refusing to hear my concerns, kept repeating she had 99.9% great reviews & I was her only complaint ever. She said she’s "NOT refunding me 1 cent!" When I suggested we meet at the house, she told me she’s in Africa. But continued to claim SHE herself cleans & inspects house after every guest leaves. Yeah right!She reminded me how offended she was for complaining. Is this woman for real? When she FINALLY stopped interrupting & scolding me, I said “Ok, I’ll contact VRBO again. THEY will get me fully refunded." The nasty woman SCOFFED at me: “Yeah, good luck w/that! * I’ve NEVER had such a terrible experience w/an actual business owner! the foul, obnoxious, lying scammer in Africa. If VRBO doesn’t help us immediately, we’re turning her into BBB, TrustPilot, ScamAdvisor, AND IC3.

Check in process very smooth. Very clean. Great communication with landlords and graciously allowed a delayed checkout without additional charges. I highly recommend this unit to rent. The renovations to stand up shower was tremendous!!!!

Feb stay

Strong mold smell. Thin walls. Television never worked have to reach out for help. Neighbors are kind and it’s not their fault that you hear everything I mean everything. Heat works in one bedroom the other is freezing. Televisions in rooms don’t work either. Peaceful place, if you have mold allergies or severe reactions I wouldn’t suggest this unit. Had to book another place 2 out of 4 days .

Overnight Stay

Needed a place to stay for the night prior to our flight the next day. The home is very close to the airport and it worked great for us. The home was very clean and well cared for, well equipped with everything you would you would need for a longer stay. Check in and check out instructions were great. Very good stay!

The outside appearance was concerning! Paint needed, grass cut, cars that needed to be removed and towed away! The house was clean but not well equipped with utensils! I was very concerned about drapes hanging over heating vents for fire danger! The drapes need to be shortened and could catch on fire if not! It served are short stay ok!
