A pocos pasos de la playa y que NO tienen que cruzar Palmetto Blvd !! De hecho, no tienes que cruzar una carretera asfaltada en todo!

Ella se encuentra en el área de la calle muy deseable Point con el acceso (y preciosas vistas) a la playa de sonido y todo es maravilloso paz y tranquilidad.

Llevar a la familia; ofrecemos 4 dormitorios y 4 cuartos de baño y dormimos un total de 10.

Al entrar en nuestra casa será recibido por nuestro amplio y luminoso cocina perfecta para las vacaciones!

Haga que toda la familia se reúne para preparar la gran comida lowcountry que nunca tiene tiempo para cocinar en casa y sentarse en nuestra mesa de comedor grande y disfrutar de ella. Y a partir del 07/11/11 ahora tenemos dos refrigeradores! Nuestra cocina, comedor y sala de estar todos tienen una hermosa vista tranquila del sonido.

Disfrutar de ese libro (o revista favorita) que ha estado esperando para leer en el porche de la pantalla (uno de los dos porches de pantalla) o ir a uno de los dos de sol y relajarse en una de las sillas de la sala y tomar una siesta. Son sus vacaciones!

Llevar a los niños a jugar en la playa y luego volver y tomar una ducha de agua caliente en la ducha al aire libre; los niños les encanta (los adultos también lo hacen)!

Al igual que para el anfitrión de comidas al aire libre? En nuestra planta principal tenemos otro porche de pantalla grande con una mesa hecha a medida para albergar a toda la familia, mientras que usted tiene una divertida comida al aire libre. Después jugar un juego de fútbol o Bocci; nuestro patio es lo suficientemente grande para todo! Necesita un poco de viento el tiempo de inactividad? No hay problema; tenemos un televisor en cada habitación!

Antes de saber que el día ha terminado, pero la buena noticia es mañana puede hacerlo todo de nuevo. Bienvenido a su casa de vacaciones; ¡disfrutar!

Another wonderful week!

This is our 5th year at Simmons Gamecock. While not all of our family stayed the entire week, we still love this place for its comfort and convenience. We’ve already booked this little piece if paradise for next summer. Counting the days til we can sit on the porch and listen to the waves early in the morning and after sunset! Thanks to the family whi makes it available.

A tranquil relaxing place.

At the south end of the island which was quite and peaceful. The house was very spacious and each room had its own bathroom. Beautiful view of the ocean which you could watch from the kitchen table. Two minutes to the beach. We had a great time and can’t wait to get back.

Awesome Week!

The house was excellent! Four bedrooms and four bathrooms; a wonderful asset to have. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfortable queen beds and furniture. Very clean. Easy walk to the beach, but lots of space to park at either very close beach accesses if you had to drag heavy stuff. Sat every night and early morning on spacious screened in deck. Perfect! Hope to return next summer.

Another Week is a Wonderful Place!

Our third stay at Simmons Gamecock was just as enjoyable as the previous ones. Our family has outgrown four bedrooms, so one branch of the family tree stayed a block away, easily accessed by golf cart or stroll. However, the open floor plan and the proximity to the beach made our place the headquarters. The new deck is great. We have chosen our week for next summer. Just waiting on confirmation! (Hope the hammocks will be back up!)

Guest did not notify us of any issues before leaving citing "health issues" with mildew. There was no mildew inside the house before or after upon detailed inspection. When asked where they were going, suspecting they simply found another house they liked better, we got two different answers. They of course asked for money back. If they had notified us per our agreement of any issues we would have rectified it or upgraded them to a different property, which we did have, if an issue could not be timely rectified and especially if any actual health issues existed. Would not rent to these renters again. Beware.

Pretty Much Perfect

We have stayed in this house many times and will continue to rent it when we can. We have rented other houses on Edisto Beach but none of them suit our needs like Simmon's Gamecock. The house is arranged perfectly so that all our guests have their own private bedroom areas, each with a full bath. The living area is large with an unobstructed view of the ocean, even though it is a second row home. We enjoy having a big kitchen where more than one cook can be working at a time. There are two refrigerators and two kitchen sinks. Great! Beach access could not be easier and walking to Whaley's for lunch specials is just a couple of blocks. It's a wonderful house in the best location at Edisto Beach and it has the best parking of any home we have ever been in. Good house! We will return.

Nice older home with a lot of space for a large family

We enjoyed our stay at the Simmons Gamecock. The house was roomy and nicely furnished. The new deck and screened in porch was a great place for our family to hang out in the mornings and evenings. The house is older, but in good shape. There is a small view of the ocean from the porch and deck areas. The overall location was good for a non beachfront home. The two nearby beach accesses allowed cars and golf carts to park, which added to the amount of people on this part of the beach. We had a little difficulty with checking in at our scheduled time. After email chats and several calls, someone unlocked the door for us and changed the access code. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Great House and Location

This was our first year staying in this house and we loved it. Everyone in the group really liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom - a huge plus! The house was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies to go around. The outdoor shower was huge - one of the best I've ever been in. Simmons Gamecock has a great location on Edisto Island, close to restaurants, away from the crowds, near both the sound for sunsets and the beach for bigger waves. Two fridges in the house was a huge plus as well. Two hoses under the hose for rinsing off definitely makes life easier with a large number of people. Would definitely recommend this house!

Totally Perfect for Us

We loved the house, the spot and the time. The house is beautifully designed and well laid out for families with chidden--with four bedrooms and four baths, and had spacious common areas inside and out for relaxing. Easy walk to the beach. Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals is professional, clear in instructions and informative. We'll be back.

Great for family get always!

We arrived on Sunday and stayed until Thursday. We enjoyed our time here! The house is in a great location to the beach, you can enjoy a coffee and watch the waves, and you can relax in the hammock. Great internet access. We loved it here, and you will too! Just book the trip, come find some shark teeth and invest in a few good towels! We will be back!

Nothing Could be Finer than a Trip to Carolina

We stayed at Simmon's Gamecock for one way too short week in March. The house is lovely. We are a small group (4 people and 1 old dog) and we had tons of room, but a large group would also be very comfortable here. The bedrooms are large and every one of them has its own full bathroom. The living area is huge and there is a nice view of the ocean. True, this house is not oceanfront, but it is perfect. You can see and hear the ocean and it is a very short walk to the beach on a quiet sand road with fresh deer and raccoon footprints every morning. The rooms are large and, when the kids are looking for a little competitive entertainment, there is a ping pong table and corn hole game under the house on the screened in porch. The Roku TV reception is awesome with access to many channels plus the ability to use your own Prime or Netflix or whatever account. WiFi is terrific when you need your phone and computer. Whaley's Restaurant is a very, very short walk for a very, very good lunch. We love this house and hope to come back many more times.

Friends and Family get away

This was our first long term stay in Edisto Island. So glad we chose Simmons Gamecock. Having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was amazing. We started with a girls week, then my husband and my sister joined us. There are 2 full refrigerators, a dishwasher, full kitchen with everything you need to eat and entertain at home. The large screened in porch with an ocean view was a favorite for lazy afternoons. Plenty of room for seating in the dining and living area. There are beach entrances at each end of the block so we spent a lot of time beach walking with our furry friend. We enjoyed having Whaleys bar and grill around the corner as well as the many restaurants scattered around the island. This is an older beach house with a few little quirks but it was a great value for so much space and the location. The beds were comfortable, it has a washer and dryer, so wonderful for rotating guests! We hope to return next winter.

A wonderful view and home layout

We enjoyed the porch and view and the overall layout of the house was perfect for our family. There is a lot of repair work that is needed and the furniture and amenities are very worn, but we were still very comfortable.

Great Family House!

My sisters and I with our spouses spent a week at Simmons Gamecock and LOVED it! The house was perfect for 4 couples. Having 4 bathrooms was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed. It was great having 2 refrigerators! The house is a bit "love-worn" but very clean and comfortable. We loved having the ocean view and the nice porch. Point street is quiet and the beach access was an easy walk. The check-in process and communication with the rental agency were wonderful. The only suggestion I would make is that because the house sleeps 8 to 10 people, having comfy seating for 10 people in the living area would be a huge plus. The room is very large and we liked to hang out there together in the evenings. As it is now there is only room for 7. Other than that it was perfect for our family and we look forward to returning next year.

Checked in to Simmons Gamecock July 25 through August 1 for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Our week at Edisto was more than we expected at Simmons Gamecock beach house! A beautiful view of the ocean from the deck and screened porch, a well equipped kitchen adjacent to a large family room, and four spacious bedrooms with baths gave 3 generations of our family, including our four legged members, plenty of room for group fun and private space. We enjoyed it so much that we made reservations to return next summ before our week was over!
