The Purple House es una casa de dos pisos con un gran patio cercado y sombreado, con cubiertas delantera y trasera con asientos al aire libre y una parrilla de carbón. Esta casa es ideal para una familia grande. Convenientemente ubicado cerca de todas las actividades del centro y del área de la playa. La entrada de nivel inferior se abre a una sala de estar donde se pueden encontrar 2 dormitorios, un baño y un lavadero. BR1 es un maestro con una cama king size, TV, cofre para tu atuendo de playa y un banco al pie de la cama. BR2 tiene 2 camas individuales y acceso a la cubierta trasera. El baño del pasillo compartido consta de 2 tocadores individuales y una ducha independiente. Great place.

Great place, good price, close to the beach and local stores. Plenty of parking space for multiple groups. Very pet friendly. Great over all, would definitely stay here again.

The property was in a good neighborhood, as always with Port Aransas. I believe it must be between remodels, however. The downstairs was great, and you could tell it had been fixed up, but the upstairs was very dated and the furniture and cabinets were needing some love. There were pieces of the peel and stick wall covering missing, cabinet doors hanging off the hinges, etc. (pictured) Not a bad property, but not top notch, as I’ve come to expect from Life In Paradise properties.

SUPER CUTE

Really cute house in an amazing location, plenty of space for our family of 8. Spacious backyard, ample parking, quiet neighbors, close to Ave G and to dollar general for all of those last minute needs. The property management company was very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back!

Purple house

The house is about 4 blocks from the beach. It is nice and close to golf cart rentals and supermarket. The only thing, not enough cookware. Not enough glasses. The kitchen is functional.

Fun house for a girl's getaway!

I loved staying at this house! I thought it was much cuter than the pictures showed. I loved the balcony and porch area in the back. My friends and I had a great time hanging out on the balcony and enjoying the breeze. The beds were also very comfortable. It was useful to have two showers to come home to after the beach. The beach was only 3 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed.

Great location near everything

The house was large and spacious. It is near all the downtown activities and not too far from the beach. It has a very nice large fenced yard, and a lovely deck space. It is on a very busy street so traffic noise is a thing. Had a very strong unusual odor during our stay, like they were covering something up with a deodorant. The house was up for sale at the time. The staircase inside is dangerously low, you have to be careful or you will bump your head, which several of us did lol. The downstairs bathroom is spacious with a nice shower, but poorly lit, partially due to some lights being out. Overall a good value for money, especially for a larger group.

We Love the Purple House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this for our extended family vacation. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and a dog and everyone had a great time. Beds were clean and comfortable, there were more than enough towels and supplies. The washer and dryer were in good shape too. The BBQ is a large steel drum type and would be great for brisket, but is so big, that it takes more wood/charcoal to do simple grilling.

Everything works at this home - owner has done an excellent job maintaining this home. Cleaning could have done a better job removing the fine sand residue on the beautiful tile floors noticeable upon arrival. Yard very well kept - great fencing for dogs.

Home Away from Home!

Had the pleasure of staying in the Purple House recently and we just loved that house, its location, and easy access to all the amenities of Port A. I want to share our experience with the slight scent of creosote. We noticed it when we first arrived, reported it, and it turned out it was because the new air purifier had shut down, which they will do when a filter gets clogged. When the filter was changed the matter was resolved. It would be a shame not to stay there because of a temporary situation. Management was quick to respond and we had a fabulous vacation. We will definitely seek out this sweet, comfy home again!

Smell is strong, good location, convenient

The first day we arrived the creosote smell was simply overpowering. I slept downstairs while my friends were upstairs. I woke up three times due to creosote overload, wondering how bad of a headache I would have from it. We learned to air the place out and we either got used to the smell or it diminished from daily airing out. By the third night I really didn't notice it. The location is great, just far enough out of the central town to avoid most of the golf cart idiots. it was too far to walk anywhere was my only complaint on the locale. We didn't realize there would be no towels to speak of, just a basic bare-bones set which was very inadequate.

The purple house

This house was in amazing location from the beach and for fishing. The house is very clean inside and spacious. The only downside is having to leave and go home at the end of our stay.

Enjoyed our stay

The property was good except for the inside stairs. A banister is definitely needed at the bottom and the one for the top part of the stairs needs to be extended further up.

Purple house stay

The stay is fine the house is a little older some updates could be made but overall it was OK. The futon is broken but this was reported to the office as soon as we got there hopefully that gets fixed the location is great. Having to grills outside and I really need help came in very handy especially because they are big grills a very good plus.

House pest and mold

Once we walked in there were several dead roaches and live ones too. The cleaning company never moved the furniture so there were lots of old food under everything. Also in the upstairs room withe the 1 full and 1 twin beds had lots of mold growing in the closet. Almost all the lamps were broken. And dryer had broken knobs.
