About this space
Relax in this charming South Capitol neighborhood home. A pleasant 15-minute walk takes you to the heart of downtown with museums, galleries, delicious food, unique shops, and the historic Santa Fe Plaza. You'll be equally close to Canyon Road and its many art galleries. The lively Railyard District is also walking distance and home of the Santa Fe Farmers Market, Plaza Mercado, theaters, galleries, and a variety of shops.
The space
Kitchen: A host of cookware, dishware, kitchen gadgets and utensils, full stove/range, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and cabinets for storage of food and snacks.
Dining room: Spacious dining area with seating for 6 with great natural lighting
Bathrooms: 2 Full bathrooms with showers and tubs.
Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms, each with comfortable queen beds, side tables, outfitted with lovely artwork, and plenty of natural light.
Living room: The thoughtfully designed living room offers space to stretch out and relax with cozy seating areas, a coffee table, fireplace, television, and beautiful decorative ceiling.
Backyard: The patio offers shaded seating for alfresco meals and sunrise coffee and is adorned with a BBQ grill and outdoor fireplace. There is also a bright, open garden area surrounded by a coyote fence.
Front yard: Enjoy your morning coffee in the nicely landscaped front yard, portal with teak table and chairs, and a sitting bench.
Nook: A small room adjacent to the dining room with a comfy futon for lounging or an extra sleeping space for a child/extra guest.
Laundry room: Washer and dryer, ironing board, and iron.

We raised our daughters around the corner from this place. Our youngest daughter and her husband own the two units behind the house (separate parking). At some point we want to live there at least during the week so we can walk our grandson to the elementary school 4 blocks away.
We were married in Santa Fe 42 years ago and have lived here for half a century. Once our kids left, we moved to the end of a 3 mi dirt road in the country and built our dream house where we live with our dogs and horses.

We've spent 30 wonderful years in this neighborhood. We're going to retire here. Mature trees, varied housing types and households. Strollers galore. Walking distance from the center of town.
