The Beech House has a prime location, situated less than a mile from Beech Mountain Resort. Just a short distance up the mountain, you'll discover the beloved Beech Mountain icon, Fred's General Mercantile, alongside the sledding hill and the newly added Mountaineer Adventure Tower. Our neighborhood is a mixture of both single family homes and condos with both short term rentals and permanent residents.

Only a few miles away, the Buckeye Recreation Center awaits, offering a sprawling 22,500-square-foot facility. Here, you can engage in a variety of recreational activities, including indoor basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Stay active in the fitness room or host events in the conference room, complete with a catering area. Additionally, a specially designed playroom awaits children under 12, ensuring delightful entertainment for the younger members of your group.

Venturing to the bottom of the mountain, you'll uncover the captivating Elk River Falls, also known as Big Falls. Immerse yourself in nature's beauty as large volumes of water cascade gracefully over a rock cliff, creating a picturesque oval pool. For your safety and the well-being of the local wildlife, please be aware that bears reside in the area surrounding The Beech House. We kindly request that you refrain from leaving any trash or food outside. To ensure proper disposal, please utilize the Bearicade trash enclosure and ensure it is securely closed. The Beech House has 600M broadband internet service. With the unpredictability and sometimes extreme weather on the mountain, the internet does go out on occasion.
