Tiki House is a very unique yet awe-inspiring 3 bedroom - 2.5 bath house, that sits just feet from the beach, has been one of Alligator Point's most popular rentals. Waves, sunsets, sunrises, moon rises, fishing, shelling, watching the dolphins or simply relaxing can be enjoyed from the comfort of either the upper or lower decks. Both have furnished seating areas to aid in your conversations and relaxations. Just off the lower deck and a few steps down the boardwalk, you are on the beach to experience all that Alligator Point has to offer! The half bath and a separate hot/cold shower are available at ground level for ultra convenience. You'll love the outdoor granite top bar-height railing and barstools where a morning cup-o-joe or the evening beverage can be enjoyed while gazing at the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A full-size washer and dryer are located in the guest storeroom underneath, where you'll also find the half-bath and a charcoal grill for guest use. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans, plenty of eating and cooking utensils. The stove is a glass-top electric unit. The 24" oven and microwave are built into the wall nearby. Check further for more kitchen details on the amenities page. Please note, this house has two security cameras that monitor the driveway/front steps and the back steps. Management does not monitor the camera videos. Video is used in case of policy violations and are deleted 72 hours after checkout.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Right on the beach with a wonderful porch where we spent a lot of time enjoying the sun, view, and ocean sounds. The place worked wonderfully for us and recommend it to others with no reservations. Russ and Tamre are great hosts. Very responsive and proactive with communication.

Alligator Point is not for everyone, especially those looking for a PCB or Destin type destination. For those anticipating a slow paced and out of the way get away where you feel like you have the beach all to yourselves...AP and Tiki House are the perfect places. We LOVED our stay at the Tiki House. The location is on our favorite part of Alligator Point (Mud Cove). Our son loves to cast the net for the Mullet and Shrimp that come into the Mud Cove area during this time of year. Loved the large kitchen bar that was perfect for our traditional Thanksgiving meal. The screened porch is so comfortable along with the wonderful views from the adjoining deck. We enjoyed everything about the Tiki House. Thank you, Russ and Tam, for another wonderful memory at Alligator Point!!

Another great visit

My family has stayed at Tiki House twice and it has been great both visits. Good location, right on the beach and hosts are great. We plan to visit again next year.

In August 2025 we are to pull carpet and install pet friendly flooring and new bedroom furniture in the two lower bedrooms. The house was just as described if not better the area was beautiful there was so much to do in the local area and community everyone down there was extremely nice we met some people who lived just down the beach that were extremely friendly and welcoming this by far was one of the best experiences our family has had we hope we get the opportunity to come back again.

My family and I had a great time here. The house was beautiful and perfect for our group. We brought our dogs and we all enjoyed the beach right off the back porch. The location is really nice and quiet and we pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises everyday. The host was very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

Quiet, clean beach stay

We loved this house at alligator point! The deck with the covered seating area felt like an additional room and it was really nice to be right on the water. Fabulous sunrise and sunsets! Hosts were very accommodating.

Great location!

Loved that the beach was right there!!! Loved that there was very few people around, our private beach. Great place to stay for the week. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Loved sitting on the back deck furniture listening to the waves. I might of took a few naps, lol!! Awesome views! Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Overall, the house was great. The host was very accommodating when we had asked to check in early however we were unable to use the dishwasher due to the dishwasher having black mold in it. Make sure you bring bug spray because the biting flies are crazy. Be aware the water is always murky, not very inviting to swim in.

Thank you for your review. We're disappointed that we weren't given an opportunity to correct the dishwasher issue at the beginning of your stay rather than after check-out. Fortunately, we are affiliated with an environmental engineering firm in the area with a mold remediation division. We had an inspection performed this morning. It was determined that it was NOT black mold and likely developed after use without allowing the unit to completely dry by a previous guest. That issue has been rectified. What was referred to as "murky" water actually has a scientific explanation which is caused by trees and other vegetation lining the Ochlocknee River and Bay. The tannins in the leaves and needles act like tea leaves that give the water a brown tea-like color throughout the estuary. It's not everyone's cup of tea, so to say. Farther west is where the blue-green waters are, which may be more to your liking. We don't provide bug spray, but in most cases, previous guests will leave theirs in the upper part of the pantry cabinet. If not, Dollar General is just a few miles to the east, which we're confident you discovered. The shoe flies and "no-see-um" gnats are definitely a nuisance especially after dark in summertime rural Florida. Thank you again for choosing Tiki House. We would be honored to host you again in the future. But we certainly understand that Alligator Point is not for everyone.

Wonderful property and hosts

Great location for quiet getaway. Comfortable accommodations and great amenities. We had plenty of room and very convenient access to beach. Hosts are responsive and pleasant.

We have someone in every bed and one on the couch and we still have plenty of space to be comfortable and relax. Great great private uncrowded beachfront home.

At the Beach

Love the location and short walk to the beach. We came for the beach. The property fit the eight of us and the kitchen/dining/living area is perfect for our variety of ages, 7-78.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy the weekend and this was a great place to do that. The owners were very nice, accommodating, and responsive during our stay. We really appreciated their hospitality.

Great Beach House

Our family loved our stay at Alligator Point. This house was perfect for our family of five and exactly as advertised.
