Family-Friendly, Pet-Friendly with a small dog run (fenced) available right outside the downstairs door! 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths, hot tub, pool table, fast WI-FI (257 Mbps), indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, dedicated workspace, game console, exercise equipment (bands and small weights), and various children's amenities (books, toys, high chair, baby gates). 2 King Beds, 1 Queen Bed, 2 Bunk Beds (4 twin beds), and 1 pull out couch in the High Country of Seven Devils, North Carolina! Conveniently located between the towns of Banner Elk and Boone - in the shadow of Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain! Just a few miles adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway! Hiking, fishing, zip lining, golfing, biking, skiing and snow tubing just to name a few things available in this area, as well as tons of shopping, antiques and winery’s! We have fallen in love with the mountains in North Carolina and know you will as well! Outdoor security cameras are on our property at doorways and driveways. Turned off on arrival.

The house was perfect! Easy to get to, had everything we needed, loved the hot tub, beds were comfortable, we loved the fire pit, it has room for a big family or families going on vacation together. Very clean! You won’t be disappointed!

North Carolina Mountain Trip

We enjoyed our time at the cabin immensely. Our party consisted off ages from 8-81 and everything in between and everyone in the group had an amazing time. The home is spacious, fully appointed and close to lots of great areas to explore. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

We rented this property for a weekend get away for my daughters 7th bday to go skiing and snowboarding as well as snowtubing. This property did not disappoint for our stay and the accommodations that were made for us were amazing. Kathy was a wonderful host

Beautiful log cabin

Room and activities for the whole family. We played lots of games around the large dining room table. Kids enjoyed the pool table. Home just a couple of miles from Hawksnest Tubing which was our destination.

Beautiful Mountain Stay

Beautiful home nestled in the Mountains! Very well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay. Lots of room for the family to get together and still have separate private spaces. The best porch for outdoor relaxing. Highly recommend this home for a family retreat.

Fun family get away

We were close to tubing, skiing and Grandfather Mountain. Trips into Boone and Blowing Rock were also quick. We enjoyed cooking, walking and using the hot tub at the house. Plenty of room for the whole family.

Family Snow Tubing Trip

The location and home were wonderful- we stayed in this same house 2 years ago but understand that there is a new owner. The updates were great and the owner was so accommodating by keeping us posted of things. With six grandkids and five adults- the house is perfect for us. Will definitely be back!

It is our family tradition to celebrate Christmas in the mountains. We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. Our 3 granddaughters really enjoyed the bunk beds.The guys played several games of pool. Location was great.

Great Cabin!

We absolutely loved the cabin, the snack basket was a hit for the teenagers, the games were a hit as well. We loved being able to bring our pup with us, it made our trip so much nicer having her there. The cabin is closed to everything, definitely recommend the Alpine coaster! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Perfect family house

This house was amazing! Great set up for our family…Kids had their area down stairs and the adults were able to have the main level and top level. Beds were comfy and house had everything you could possibly need and more. Hope to be able to rent this property next trip to the Boone area.

Great house!

Everything was super nice. The house is very dog friendly (although we didn’t take ours on this trip since we were going to the homecoming game at App State) and it’s extremely kept up and clean. The hot tub area is very private and the neighborhood is really cute. We will definitely rent this house again on our next trip to Boone.

Winter getaway

Beautiful cozy cottage in excellent location in the high country. Great for family of 8-10! Only suggestion I would make is gas logs w a blower in fireplace would have been great. Keeping a fire going and then dealing w the cleanup is laborious.

Excellent!

Highly recommend this beautiful mountain home. Had to wait for cleaning crew to finish after check-in but this was out of the host’s control. Very responsive communication with the host who refunded part of the cleaning fee. Lots of room to spread out with 6 teenagers and 6 adults. The pool table and hot tub were a hit! Beautiful indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit with provided wood which was appreciated! Great location for nearby tubing at Hawksnest.

Our family is from Kentucky, our daughter went to college in Charolotte and that led us to vacation in the North Carolina mountains! We instantly fell in love with fly fishing, the Blue Ridge Parkway mountains scenery and all the towns surrounding it! We know you will love it too!

5-7 minutes to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplining (my fam's personal fav)
5-7 minutes to Grandfather Vineyard and Winery (MY personal fav)
15 minutes to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort
15 minutes to Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course and many more public and private golf courses in the area
20 minutes to Boone
20 minutes to Appalachian State University (GO MOUNTAINEERS!!)

Three story cabin with 4 bedrooms with an attached, full bath to each room. Every floor also has its own common area. A beautiful wrap around covered porch with outdoor seating, dining, and grilling available. Two driveways that hold two cars each are available on site. One driveway on basement level and one on the main level. Hot tub is available on the basement level located on the back porch. A fenced in pet run is on site for your convenience and your fur-babies too! We love our pets and yours! Treat our home how you would want us to treat yours please.

NOTE- 4-wheel-drive, snow chains, or snow tires are required by law by the town of Seven Devils, NC for all motorized vehicles in case of inclement weather.
