Mint to Be is situated in an exceptionally scenic part of the Russian River Valley where the redwood forests open to the coastal hills. This lovely spot is close to the Russian River and just a short drive from the Sonoma Coast. Enjoy peaceful evenings outdoors on the large deck where there is a gas grill, hot tub and propane firepit. The modern farmhouse-style interior is open and airy guests will appreciate the single level, with only a half flight of stairs to the front door.

This home is a hidden gem! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable.The outdoor space was wonderful..plenty of room for the dog to play and many places to sit and enjoy the views .The hot tub was clean and a great place to relax .would stay here again for sure!

My husband, me and our fur babies had a great and much needed peaceful time. This was a very pet-friendly VRBO and appreciated the small towels by the back yard door. After the pups were done running about the yard, we gave them all a bath to make sure they did not track in mud or baby slugs/snails, etc. Our fur babies absolutely LOVED the big back yard and ran all over the place exploring. The yard was so big that we both had to keep an eye on them from getting into the bushes, etc. It was probably too big for our pups, but it was still beautiful. Having the property closed off and secure made us feel safe.The dogs LOVED the "sunroom" for dachshunds love to sun bathe.The VRBO was close driving distance to the 24-hour Safeway and beach. It was quiet and loved hearing the frogs "ribbit" and crickets chirp at night.The home came equipped with pretty much everything, from laundry detergent, to extra TV's and games in a hidden table in the living room.The fireplace was phenomenal and heated up the home when it got chilly.The only thing is maybe brighter lighting in the home? At night it was dim in the house as we sat on the couch to watch tv. Other than that, amazing VRBO find! A Definite RECOMMEND!

Family Getaway

Wonderful place to stay and play! River and ocean very close. We all loved it, even the dogs! Would consider staying again.

Great retreat for the family

What a fun house! We had our family of 4 and 2 little dogs and it was the perfect property! We love this area of the Russian River and will definitely look to stay here again.

Peaceful

Quiet neighborhood which is just what we needed. Yard was huge and my dog loved exploring. We saw quail in the morning in the yard. Lots of woodpeckers and various birds. Tons of things to do on the coast. We will come back for sure!!

Spring break get a way

The house was very clean and comfortable. Large very private property with multiple outside seating areas. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and ready to use. Beach towels were provided. There was coffee, spices, cooking oil, snacks and a bottle of wine in the kitchen. There is a small ping pong table and frisbee golf for outdoor fun.

Repair before Renting

Property was nice and enjoyed having a large lot. However there was a leak that occurred more than a week before week booked, were not notified of said leak, and could not enjoy our stay due to the mold like stain growing from the ceiling in direct proximity to the air supply/ heater for the house. Reported to property manager and they were fairly dismissive of our concerns. Would appreciate a call from VRBO to discuss.

Hello Joe, Thank you for your review! We appreciate you letting us know about the watermark on the ceiling. As we mentioned, it was related to a previously repaired leak. While the issue had been resolved before your arrival, the ceiling still needed to be stripped and repainted, which we scheduled and completed after your departure. We checked the home before arrival, and there was no mold present or developing in that spot. We’ve taken all necessary steps to ensure the space remains clean and safe for future guests. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
