House was exactly as advertised. Pool in the back was a great bonus for the kids. AC worked very well. Will definitely be back. Host was great and accommodating. Kids bedroom was awesome with the bunk beds. No TV in bedrooms but had a nice basement with pool table to relax in while kids were sleeping. Mattresses a bit older for sure, firm if you like that. Could maybe use an update to a medium feel to appease the majority. But overall was a great getaway and located 1 minute from a fun playground for the kids, and about a 5-10 minute walk from most of the places in town. Thanks Trevor!

Trevor was very easy to communicate with. Pros: kitchen was well equipped. In the description, there was no mention of a Keurig machine, but there is one. The pool was excellent and Trevor came to check on it which was appreciated. Air conditioning works very well. Bathroom was also well equipped with towels. Great outdoor deck.Cons: Need better lighting in kitchen and dining room. The fan in the dining room didn’t work. There is no screen on the bathroom window. Side note about Bay Beach: they charge you to use the beach and parking is 10 TO 15 BUT you can walk from this cottage.

Perfect cottage close to the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at the crystal serenity cottage. The house was clean, as described, and stocked with everything we needed. It is a great location not far from the falls and a walking distance to Lake Erie. We enjoyed the short walk to the local shops and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to rent this cottage!

Great Summer Getaway

Crystal Serenity Cottage did not disappoint. Location is great, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The cottage itself was inviting, clean, comfortable, quiet, fully equipped with all you need for a fun, relaxing, time with family. The pool was clean, accessible, and a good option when you need a break from the beach but need to stay cool. The host was reliable, quick to respond, and ensured that we had all we needed to check in and have a good stay. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

Location within walking and driving distance of various sites and restaurants. The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is clean and well stocked with dishes, cutlery and appliances. Property is well-kept, landscaped and private. We enjoyed our stay and although the weather didn’t cooperate every day, we found fun things to do and interesting places to visit on rainy days. Also, the pool in the yard was a nice bonus! Will stay again.

Serenity Cottage Crystal Beach.

The property was very nicely laid out. The hammock in the back yard looked very inviting under the large arbor. Unfortunately the hammock was wet from a previous rain and because it was constantly shaded it never dried out enough to use. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table. We also used some of the games that were provided. It was nice to have access to a dryer for the towels after using the pool. It would have been nice to have a clothes line for the bathing suits. I got stuck on the back deck one day when I was there by myself as the sliding door needed to be lifted when pushing it open and I wasn't able to do this from outside. I was able to eventually get back inside with the help of the next door neighbour. We used a beach a few miles away in Fort Erie as I thought the Bay beach entry fees combined with parking price was a bit much, especially on a holiday and weekends. The kids enjoyed the nearby park and the dog enjoyed her walks around the neighbourhood.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable and the back yard is lovely. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped (although no dishwasher), it had everything one could need. The basement family room is great too, we didn’t use it this time because the weather was great and lots to do in the area. We also appreciate the fact that it is pet friendly.Thank you again Trevor, we had a terrific time!Jan and family
