Great location

This was a great, comfortable, quiet stay. We really enjoyed it. The house was spotless and the beds were comfy. Only feedback - provide details on how to warm up the home because it gets cold at night. And, provide details on how to get extra towels if needed because when staying with a lot of people you will need more that what was provided. Otherwise it was great.

Great location

This place is in a great location. It has its own driveway and great communication with the owner. There were a few items that i wasnt prepared for which one was there was only one tv in the living room. There was one bedroom on the main floor and there were 2 on the second floor. The bathrooms were located on the second floor and the basement. This was not ideal for elderly parent or medically compromised husband with oxygen, but would be great for others. The neighborhood seemed very safe and quiet.

Home away from home

A movie was being produced at our home.We needed to relocate for the week.We loved the house. All the rooms were clean & organized . Kitchen was well equipped .We met the neighbors! Lovely people !The only draw back is the stairs. Bathrooms are upstairs & in finished basement , but otherwise lovely

Nice & convenient house

It would have been nice to have more information about the house. For example, we were chilly the first night but extra blankets were in a locked closet. We had to call the host the next day to find out where the key was hidden and that we could adjust the thermostat. We also found the instructions for entering the house confusing and they required downloading a new app.

Wonderful Stay at Marleen’s

We came to celebrate our grand daughter’s Sweet 16. We chose to stay at Marlen’s since we lived at Fleetwood for 20 years. We truly enjoyed the accommodations and overall welcomeness as well as Marlen’s timely communication. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend booking with Marlen. Good location but a lot of noise due to the parkwayClean house (but not the garden)Very nice neighborhood, thank you to Nancy for her warm welcome and our pleasant daily chats.The electricity was cut off for a few hours because the bill hadn't been paid !A few points to improve:Put outdoor furniture. There is nothing !Limited kitchenwareSome trash outside in the garden areaIssue with the toaster and microwave — they can’t be used at the same time, as it trips the circuit every timeSpecify in the listing that there is noise and that the second bathroom is in the basement.

Perfect homebase for a country family's visit to the city

We absolutely loved Marlen's clean and comfortable home outside of the city. For us it was a perfect home base for our trip to the city that gave our two older kids the space to have their own bedrooms. It was worth the 30-minute commute to have our peaceful space and genuinely so simple to drive the 7 minutes to the commuter train for the ride into Grand Central Station!

3 Night Stay

In NY for the first time for a wedding and had a very pleasant experience staying at this property. The host was great at communicating about the check in and check out process. Absolutely no issues with anything! 😊

Wonderful Weekend

Our recent stay at Marlen's "cozy and beautiful" home was wonderful. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and Marlen was quick to respond any time that I reached out to her. There is ample off-street parking, and the house is just a quick drive to the train station. I highly recommend the property.

Perfect Location

We came to Westchester for a family event and rented this lovely home together with our best friends. The house was very clean and the host is friendly and super responsive. The beds were so comfortable - I slept better here than in my own bed at home! There are many eateries walking distance from the house in a charming little village: Ku Asian Bistro, Bagel Deli Plus, Coffee Lab Roasters, Gordy's Burger House, J & G Deli & Market, Ella Greek Taverna and don't miss Dantoni's Pizza with tasty desserts too! The neighborhood is friendly and safe with a park down the street. We have recommended this home to our friends and family and would definitely stay here again when we're back in town. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Home & Neighborhood

Owner was very responsive and helpful and the house was great. The neighborhood is very safe feeling and the next door neighbors are so friendly and nice! While the neighborhood is quiet, you are close to the parkway, a train station and shopping. The house was clean and the room AC units worked well which was important since it was in the 90's when we were there. The only thing I would warn people of is that if you are not comfortable with navigating steep stairs do not rent this house because both bathrooms require using stairs. We are used to stairs so it was not an issue for us. We were very happy staying at this property!!

Spacious and great neighborhood

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and recently remodeled so everything is new. For our family of four there was tons of space and there is a huge back yard. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet. There is a really good bagel shop at the end of the street (2 min walk), and a good Italian deli for sandwiches also down the street, along with a few other amenities in walking distance. Street parking was super easy and always available in front of the house or house next door. Marlen was quick to respond to questions. One thing to note is that to get to a bathroom you need to go upstairs or down to the basement so not a great house for someone with mobility issues. It worked out fine for us though. Thank you Marlen!

Graduation Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying here for our daughter’s college graduation. Marlen was gracious and accommodating throughout the entire process. The home was immaculate and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed daily walks to local coffee shops, a bagel shop, and a market. Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend.

Lovely

We very much enjoyed our stay. Nice street, easy parking, walk to bagels and coffee. House was very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathrooms lovely. The only thing I'd note is that the A/Cs are very loud. We would definitely stay again!

Renovated 3-bedroom with ample parking in nice neighborhood

The house was as described with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and ample parking spots in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants in walking distance. Check in and out was easy.
