Cozy getaway in the woods of Hedgesville, WV. Pet friendly!

Welcome to Sweet Spot Getaways...we are a cozy farmhouse-style cabin tucked away from the world in The Woods resort of Hedgesville, WV. The house is surrounded by trees and nature, which makes it a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Relax in our comfortable hammock or outdoor couch on one of two decks and listen to the birds and the quiet. When the temperatures start to cool off you can warm up and create memories around the firepit and roast some marshmallows or better yet, turn that into a S'more. Enjoy grilling out on our large deck with table, chairs and umbrella.

There are tons of trails for you and your furbaby to explore. Yes! we are dog friendly. The Woods Resort offers golfing, a spa and salon, as well as The Clubhouse Grille and Pub. We provide some yoga mats, resistance bands, cornhole boards and beans bags and a few other outdoor games. Inside we have board games, DVDs and lots of books.

Inside you will find two Queen bedrooms with Tempurpedic and Nectar mattresses. One has an en suite bathroom while the other bathroom is close to the other bedroom. Our loft room, a kid favorite, has a twin daybed and trundle. There you will find a 32" TV for the kiddos and some games and additional seating. The DVD player is upstairs and the 55" Roku Smart TV in the living room has all your favorite apps to stream movies and you can also watch live TV.

We provide a Keurig coffee maker and pods for coffee and hot chocolate. Also, there is a nice selection of tea if that is more fitting for you. Our coffee bar has a nice basket of goodies that are complimentary as well. Cold water can be found in the fridge, along with some condiments. We have other basics, such as olive and avocado oils, balsamic vinegar and peanut butter.
