Fall in Love w/ our Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Expansive Mtn Views, & Game Room!

Welcome to Modern Splash! The name says it all. Modern Splash is a luxury three-story modern cabin built on the side of a mountain, with a heated indoor pool in the basement and unobstructed mountain views from all 3 levels! Come enjoy all of the fall leave changes from our decks! The cabin is a 2 bedroom/2.5 bath with game room, two living rooms, and a bunk space. Enjoy the community outdoor pool and bastketball, pickle ball and tennis courts!

The cabin sleeps 8 people total; 2 king bedrooms and 4 twin bunkbeds in game room. You can park 3 vehicles in front of the cabin. We love hosting couples, families and was ideally designed for multiple generational family trips with a master on two levels to spread out.

MAIN LEVEL:

When you pull up to Modern Splash you will be greeted by a flat and paved parking area that is perfect for four cars. You enter the cabin on the middle of three stories. On this main level is a bedroom with king size bed and TV, a bathroom with a double vanity as well as a bathtub-shower combo, and a luxury kitchen with white quartz countertops and custom cabinets. On this floor is also a living room with a 60-inch TV over an electric fireplace and a dining room. Every part of the kitchen, dining room, and living room looks out through large windows to unobstructed mountain views.

TOP LEVEL:

On the top level of the cabin, you are perched nearly 60 feet off the ground! The first thing you will notice as you go up the stairs are the amazing unobstructed views of the mountains. It feels like you are in a treehouse. On this level is a game room with pool table and Pac-man game machine. This level also includes a movie watching area with 75-inch TV and bathroom with a double vanity and a bathtub-shower combo. In the open space there are also two sets of twin bunks that sleep 4 people total. This top level also has a bedroom with a king size bed and TV in the room.

BOTTOM LEVEL:

The bottom level of the cabin is your pool room! It is hard to believe, but the bottom level of this cabin has an in-ground gunite custom pool with a small waterfall. The pool is heated at 84 degrees year around. There is also a half bath and laundry room on the bottom floor. As the kids play in the pool there is a seating area in the pool room as well as out on the deck with unobstructed views for the adults. As you walk out onto the deck there is a 6-person hot tub overlooking the mountains. Since this cabin is literally built off the side of the mountain even the bottom deck has unobstructed views.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

Modern Splash is located in the idyllic Shagbark gated community, which provides twenty-four-hour gated security for the neighborhood. You will truly feel yourself relax as you pull into the neighborhood. It is close to all the things to do in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Wears Valley but also far enough from the main strip to be in a peaceful mountain setting where you will enjoy the sounds of nature and a serene setting. As you enter the gated community of Shagbark roll your windows down and listen for the sounds of the crystal-clear mountain river that runs alongside the main road.

In addition to the mountains streams flowing through the neighborhood, the setting is quite and the houses are well spaced out to get the privacy of a mountain setting. The neighborhood also has a beautiful, covered pavilion with picnic tables, Frisbee golf course, seasonal pool, and a basketball, pickleball and tennis court. The neighborhood is truly a one-of-a-kind setting!

The location is perfect if you want to balance convenience to all the attractions while also being in a peaceful setting away from the noise and traffic of town. Shagbark neighborhood is just 10 minutes west of the strip in Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood is very close to Wears Valley Road and convenient to the town of Wears Valley if you want to head towards the Western entrance of the Smoky Mountain National park or other attractions like Cades Cove.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
*The roads up to the cabin are steep mountain roads. You don’t get these views unless you go to the top of the mountain! The good news is all the roads up to the cabin are paved. And normally once someone drives the roads once or twice it’s not a big deal.

**The pool is “heated” but the temperature is kept at 84 degrees year around. This is important for the moisture levels in the basement. For some adults 84 degrees will feel cold but for kids they will love it! The pool is not heated up like a hot tub. For temps over 100 enjoy the hot tub on the deck!

***There was a wildfire that affected some of the neighborhood in March of 2022. Therefore, there are some houses that are being re-built throughout the neighborhood including our street. We provide sound machines in the sleeping areas to ensure those restful mornings.
