Where Brook meets Ocean
Beautiful Halifax cottage house located on Pennant Brook, but also has 300 feet of ocean frontage! If you like the sound of a rivers current flowing into the rising and falling tide of the ocean this place is for you. Cottage is located directly across from the Pennant Brook nature reserve, which includes 300 acres of hiking trails and loads of natural beauty. Crystal Crescent provincial park is located 3km away and has some of the greatest hiking and best beaches on the Atlantic coast.
The space
The cottage is brand new construction and very modern, but has a very cozy feel. I’ve been adding new features every year, this place keeps getting better and better! You will not be disappointed. Besides being on a river, ocean and a nature reserve, it’s very close to a local store in the neighboring town of Sambro that has take out food, basic groceries and a NSLC(liquor store) for most of your needs. Downtown halifax is only 30 minutes away and has lots to offer, fine dining and entertainment, along with the boardwalk along Halifax harbour! New for summer 2020 there will be an addition of a wharf with a floating dock. Bring your kayaks and swim trunks, don’t forget the goggles and snorkel.

Guest access
We have a beautiful deck that over looks Pennant Bay and a wonderful fire pit with swing chairs that you can sit in and enjoy every night of your stay.
Wharf and floating dock have been installed new for summer of 2020, which brings a whole new level of access to where the brook meets the ocean. Pictures are now uploaded! Check out the pergola on the back deck as-well!
