Great cabin with everything you need. Feels secluded while being minutes from the amenities of Pagosa Springs. Loved the wood burning stove and nighttime sky views. Excellent location for quick access to skiing at Wolf Creek.

Unbeatable view 20min to wolf creek

This is our second time at this cabin. We love the cozy cabin and fireplace, but the exterior is where we enjoy ourselves most. Porch sunsets with panoramic mountain views. Excellent property mgmt, clear and prompt communication. Thank you for another excellent holiday!

Another great vacation at this lovely little cabin

This was the second ski vacation staying at this terrific little cabin. The place is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The fire place is a breeze to use, and the owners generously supply fire wood. It's a quick drive to the ski mountain and a few minutes to town for meals, drinks, the hot springs, and so on. The owners are quite responsive and generous with their time. It's perfect for my small family, and very reasonably priced. Great views of the mountains, and it is quiet and peaceful.

Adorable cabin

I love the cabin, it has a lot of potential. The views are beautiful, and the rental is conveniently located, close to town. But the cabin seriously needs some updates. The carpet definitely needs cleaned, very stained. If it were mine, there wouldn’t be carpet. My biggest issue was the bedding…. The sheets were torn and dingy, and the pillows were stained. I wouldn’t sleep on them, I used my own blankets that I had with me. Lastly, more than just one days worth of fire wood would be nice. Again the cabin itself was adorable and has potential, with a little TLC.

Wonderful stay!

We have stayed in this cozy cabin many times and it never disappoints. There are beautiful views all around, it is quiet, but it is close to all Pagosa Springs has to offer. We look forward to our next visit!

Perfect little cabin

The view from the cabin is spectacular. Loved the feeling of being out in the country, yet town is 5 minutes away. Even though it was clean, it was a little musty inside due to the age of the cabin. (But I am very sensitive to smell, and for a few days did not bother me.) We loved staying here and would stay here again. The cabin next door looked new and I would definitely look at that one as well.

Great cabin, great views

We enjoyed our stay in Pagosa Springs in this well-appointed cabin. Things to know...the beds were comfy, the view was stunning, and the cabin was roomy and quiet. The cabin is conveniently located close to downtown but a five minute drive out of town, so really the best of both worlds. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the Wi-Fi worked great. There is not an easy way to fill the bathtub (if you really want a bath you will need to use the shower head to fill the tub). And the shower temp control seemed backwards and took some time to figure out. There is a washer/dryer if you are staying a while and a nice fire pit. The front porch was so relaxing with a couple of comfy chairs and a wood bench. There is a table to eat at on the front porch as well. All in all this was a really comfy cabin to stay in and I would stay here again!

Amazing views, 4 minutes from downtown!

Amazing property! Me and my partner visit Colorado about 4-5 times a year. We almost always opt for a cabin and a bit off the beaten path. This one is by far one of the most complete properties we have ever stayed at while keeping the rustic aesthetic. Clean, kitchen is modern and well equipped, wifi is strong, rooms are comfy, fireplace keeps the whole cabin warm on cold nights, firepit, large area for hiking or letting your furry friend adventure. The pictures do not capture just how beautiful the views are even from just inside the living room watching the sunrise. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who are there when you need them but give you privacy otherwise. I really can't say enough about this trip other than YOU should definitely book this for your next visit to Pagosa Springs! You won't regret it!

Perfect location for a ski vacation

This two-bedroom home was perfect for my wife, son, and me. Very well equipped with stellar views of the snow-covered mountains, a lovely fireplace that was easy to use, and comfortable furniture for relaxing after a day of adventure. Cool western theme. It's a three-minute drive from the east end of Pagosa Springs, and is twenty to twenty-five minuted drive to the parking lot at Wolf Creek ski resort. There are homes nearby, but far enough away to have the feel of a secluded mountain home. The owner was so kind and responsive to all our questions and needs. I've been traveling to Pagosa Springs for a week-long ski trip every year for the last nine years. This was the best, and certainly the most convenient place we have ever stayed. Terrific experience!

3 nights we all enjoyed the landscape and scenery around the property specially night time

I was looking for a place to go and enjoy some time out of the city out of all the traffic and the stress of work,i found this cabin this cabin have wath i was looking for, is out of the city but not to far for our needs we love it to stay there specially at night time at the chimney have great time with my family the scenery around the property is beautiful the cabin is clean and have all that we needed to cook and have a good time in it i thanks to the owner to allowing us to stay there we come back home with great memories hope some day we come back again..

Relaxing!

We really enjoyed this vacation. There was just the 2 of us so there was plenty of room inside but the bonus was sitting on the front porch! Plenty of activities in the area to choose from and the peace and quiet of the cabin was wonderful! Mark G. 9.5.23

Pagosa visit

Our stay at the cabin was great. It was close to town, but not in town. Very peaceful location but still convenient to Pagosa Springs. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we return to that area.

We loved the cabin and location. Very beautiful, it would have been perfect if the weather would have been a few degrees cooler. It was uncomfortably hot at bedtime without air conditioning. We would stay here again, maybe not in the middle of July.

Rustic and quiet

If you are looking for some rustic seclusion, quiet, and views of SW Colorado ranch this cabin offers that. It’s also only a short 5 min drive to town and about 35 minutes to Wolf Creek ski mountain.

The cabin and location were perfect. For a great get away relaxation.

The only thing that bothered us was the cleanliness of the cabin. The dust in the vents, window seals, and no batteries in the TV remote, no under the stove light not working . The cabin needs some TLC , otherwise nice and cozy. 😊

Weekend Stay

We had a great time staying at the cabin! Location is perfect with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and easy to get to town. Communication with the host was quick and we made good friends with the property dog, Gunner. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Cozy & Comfortable Cabin with Great Views!

My wife and I stayed 8 nights. We had never been to Pagosa Springs but became inspired watching the new HGTV show "Building Roots". We were not disappointed despite weather not giving us much of a break from the hot temps along the Front Range where we live. Pros: Spectacular views from the front porch Good location which is both secluded yet minutes from town Comfortably sized cabin especially for 2 of us Cutely decorated in a western / mountain motif Very responsive owner / manager Cons (all fixable): Shower is very small (but there is room to expand it) Gas grill had only 2 zones working and didn't get above 200' Wifi was very weak Additionally, the owners dog Gunner (a huge, sweet German Shepard) must consider this his "home-away-from-home" (which we were totally cool with) and was often there to greet us after we were gone for the day. He and our dog Rocky got along fine even though Rocky is not the most sociable. Would we stay here again? Yes (or maybe in the adjacent larger house)!

I am a 5th generation Coloradoan and a 4th generation Pagosa native. My husband and I operate a cattle ranch here in Pagosa where we raise grass fed and finished beef. We have two young daughters that keep us busy with rodeos and 4-H. We have always had a love for the outdoors, the cowboy way of life, the small town feeling. We hope you enjoy this cabin as much as we do!

When you sit out in the morning with your cup of coffee in your hand and enjoy the sun coming up over the mountains...you'll know why. The peacefulness is unmatched and the coziness of this home makes you pause and well... breathe. We chose this property because of the mountain views on every side. It's close to town but feels secluded, it has a year round creek running through it--who wouldn't choose it? If you're lucky enough when you step out at night in the winter you might just hear the elk talking to each other in the meadow. When you look up into the big black sky with the all the starry hosts around you, and you see the Milky Way stretching above you- you'll be amazed.
