Esta es una casa de 3 dormitorios con energía solar en Kawaihae ubicado un pintoresco 30 minutos al norte del aeropuerto de Kona. A diferencia de muchas propiedades de alquiler de Hawai, esta casa está muy bien situado a las carreteras de la zona lo que reduce el tiempo de trayecto a ciudades y zonas de interés cercanas. La casa ofrece hermosas vistas de la costa del Océano Pacífico y Kohala desde el patio trasero. We had a wonderful stay and could not have been happier with this property. Everything was exactly as described—and even better in person. The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to everything we wanted to do on the Kohala Coast.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Big Island. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything we needed during our stay.One of the most thoughtful touches was the fresh homemade bread waiting for us when we arrived. It was absolutely delicious and made us feel instantly welcome. The coffee that was provided was also greatly appreciated and helped make our mornings on the lanai even more enjoyable.The hosts have clearly put a great deal of care into creating a warm and inviting experience for their guests. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Kohala.

What a wonderful experience staying at this VRBO!! Great communication well before we even arrived in Hawaii. There was fresh homemade bread and a bottle of wine. The cute well FURNISHED three bedroom house was in a great location to the beaches and driving to local towns. It’s one of the best VRBO‘s that was so well equipped down to a rice cooker! The host made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything, it was great to meet them and I’d highly recommend staying at this wonderful VRBO. It is close to a road however, we did not find that to be any trouble at all and could not even hear traffic in the house.

Great location, well-appointed place. Not for everyone, though: the road literally next to the cabin and the only bathroom for 3 bedrooms might be an issue for other people.

Thank you for appreciating the well-appointed features of Hale Ohia, from immaculate linens to a well-stocked kitchen. Guest favorites are the lucious ocean-view yard and clean, refreshing AC in every room. Kawaihae Road sits well below the property as our village perches hillside above the ocean. The beach is 5 minutes away and unlike many locations, there are three close roads of egress - toward Kona, toward Waimea, and up toward Hawi. Choose Hale Ohia for a great value, location, and multiple routes to safety or adventure.

Hale Ohia is the perfect home away-from-home for your Hawaiian vacation. Warm and cozy, with a well-appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds with lovely bedding, a dining area with views down the Kona Coast, and comfortable living room furniture, including a great massage chair to give your happy, tired muscles a massage after your beach day! The best beach is literally 5 minutes from the house.Your hosts, Nick and Nicole, are truly the most wonderful hosts one could ever wish for. You will feel like part of the family when you stay at Hale Ohia. The hard part is leaving to return to the mainland, but the happy memories stay with you always. We highly recommend Hale Ohia!

Great location, perfect for family

This has become a favorite place for our family to stay when visiting the Big Island. Home is well appointed with plenty of space and amenities. Yard is a huge plus with kids. Just a few minutes to our favorite beaches or Kawaihae food and shopping. Only 10 min to Waimea for groceries, park, farmers market, etc.

Great Place to Stay on Big Island

The house is lovely and well-kept. The hosts clearly put some love into it. We really appreciated how well-stocked it was with beach and kitchen equipment. The sunsets from the back yard are amazing. The house had more than enough space for my wife, daughter and me. We would definitely stay there again.

Our best VRBO experience to date!

We had such a great visit on the Big Island, and a huge part of our experience was staying at Hale Ohia! Our hosts were so easy to communicate with and from our welcoming treats at check in to our check out, our stay was simply top notch. The home had everything we needed and more, and while we spent our days adventuring, we loved our quiet mornings and evenings together as a family in the beautiful yard. We are already planning our next visit and will plan it around staying here again!!

Fantastic Stay

The two houses we rented were superbly priced, decorated, and provided with everything you could imagine as if you lived here all the time. Comfortable, affordable and in the best location on the Big Island a visitor could as for. Close to historical locations, close to water falls and hiking and the best beaches the Big Island could offer. I have never stayed at a rental that was as perfect as these two houses in this quiet peaceful village. The Host treats you with the most kindest and most caring respect you will ever experience.

Nice experience

On the outside edge of a cluster of several homes, this house was clearly the nicest of all of them. Very well taken care of and decorated for the Hawaiian vacationer, this house is quiet and comfortable yet a close drive to Waimea and beaches. We were very happy with our stay. Beautiful, comfortable, clean, well-stocked home. So Great!! Fantastic yard with an incredible view. Nicole and Nicolas are wonderful hosts with a keen attention to details. They made us feel very welcome. We would absolutely stay again!
