We enjoyed our stay so much at this little spot! It was exactly what we needed for our long weekend trip. The place is decorated beautifully, the location is great, and Eric was a super nice and responsive host and was very accommodating. 10/10 would stay here again!

We arrived way later than we expected and the host was very responsive regardless of the time I needed to contact him. Very polite and very responsive! Place was beautiful and listing was accurate. Would stay again!

This place has everything you need and location has food and restaurants nearby. However yes it’s by train tracks and a police station so it does get loud but it’s still cozy and feels homie. I would definitely book again.

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The location was great! We found the place and parked - for free! - got inside without any issues. There was a super cute sign saying welcome Melissa. The entire place was so clean and smelled amazing! The bedrooms were great sizes and lots of room. Anytime I had to reach out to the host, they got back almost immediately! Check out was easy peasy! I would 100% stay here again and again! ☺️☺️☺️

Not the best for small children.

The location is great but right next to the train station that run almost all night and is VERY loud. We have 3 small kids and they had a very hard time sleeping and so did we. It’s also very bright in the apartment at night which also makes it hard to sleep. But it’s very close to the highway so getting around Chicago was easy. It’s a very big spacious apartment and with everything you need. It’s absolutely perfect for anyone without little kids. Oh and there is no dish washer or dish rack so you have to wash and dry dishes by hand daily.

Spring break

March in Chicago is cold but the property only failed to tell me that the furnace was out. We had space heaters throughout the house that was not only insufficient but a terrible safety hazard. We had so many it would blow the fuses. He strung me along for a few days then the vary last offer to move us next door. I stayed at another one of his locations in the past and I didn't have a complaint but the first sign of trouble people show their true colors. I will never stay at any of his locations.

This is my honest review on this property: When I first walked in, I was hit with a strong smoke odor, so that threw me off initially. I don’t smoke, so it really bothered me. Obviously the previous renters smoked in the property, the owner set up an air purifier, but it didn’t help much. In reading other reviews before I booked, I did see a lot of people complaining about it being right by the train, I figured to still give it a shot. This is true and it was a BIG mistake. All day and all night you are overwhelmed with street traffic noise, police/ambulance sirens, and the train. Also upon check in, I was shocked with a small bug issue. I notified the owner immediately upon arrival about the smoke smell and bugs. I DO NOT DO BUGS AT ALL! The owner did finally reply the night before my last day saying that someone would come spray the following day. I sent pictures and videos. I have rented through Vrbo as well as other rental sites, and have never had issues like these. Although the place was ok, I would never stay here again.
