Beautiful, comfortable, PRIVATE garden unit of a 3 floor home located in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. (only the garden unit is for rent). Perfect for extended stays. High ceilings, tile floor, nice western light, well furnished, oversized shower with dual heads. Full kitchen with many cooking supplies, Wi-fi, couch for 5th guest (does not pull out but is quite comfortable) laundry room (private). Back deck access (2nd level only) with table and chairs. Hot tub available for $40 first night, $20 each additional night.
Hosts live above.

Close to Lake Michigan with its beaches, trails, and beautiful views. CTA bus steps away, elevated train (1 mile west). Close to Univ of Chicago, IIT, Hyde Park, Sox Park (Guaranteed Rate Field), McCormick Place 10 mins by Uber. . Soldier Field (2.5 miles), Uber ride to Grant Park is 12
STREET PARKING. Almost always available and free. Just watch for street cleaning signs wrapped around trees or posts.

Host was very accommodating. Hot tub did not work the first day and ensured it worked the next. Place was clean and had a full kitchen. Very convenient for us since we were going to wintrust arena.

Very easy to get to (first time in Chicago). I had a problem checking in (because I didn’t read all the instructions) and the owner was quick to answer my call and help me get into the unit. The space is a basement apartment of a townhouse. Very cozy and comfortable. The shower was amazing. I took like 4 showers in my 2 days there. I was able to walk to a local coffee shop and cafe. I will definitely book again next time I’m in Chicago.

Lovely neighborhood! The property was covered with beautiful foliage. Inside was a perfect size for my boyfriend and I. The accoustics inside the shower were awesome

Went for tastes of Chicago, The place was cute small we were gone for the most part seeing the sites, I left my car parked the whole time and just Uber where ever we went

Perfect

Lovely downstairs apartment. Very clean, quiet and the location was perfect. We were there for a 3 day volleyball tournament and did not spend a lot of time there but it was exactly what we needed. The shower was amazing! We would definitely stay again.

Nice location!

Great location for getting to Mc Cormick Convention Center! Easy to access downtown area as well. The neighborhood was quiet.The apartment was overall decent. Could use a deep cleaning of walls, floor, ceiling, bathroom fixtures, etc.

Unexpectedly charming!!

From the decor to the choice of Keurig pods, our stay was awesome. David met us at the gate as we were arriving and helped guide us to our apartment. Upon entering, we noticed how lovingly it had been decorated as well as supplied with everything we might need for our stay. Directions for the Wi-Fi, the lock codes, the ceiling fans and fireplace were readily available. Overall, a very nice stay!! We would definitely return. Thanks!!

Chicago!

We had a blast in Chicago, and loved staying somewhere cozy, out of the immediate city, and in a nice area. We felt safe, check in was simple, hosts communicated great. The bus stop is walking distance and takes you to the trains!

A great stay and very helpful/flexible hosts!

Our stay was great and the hosts were extremely flexible. The place is clean, has everything you might need, and conveniently located (with plenty of parking) around all the sights to see in Chicago. The hosts were incredibly helpful - just one example: our flight was at night well after our check-out time and they allowed us to keep our luggage their and pick up on the way to the aiport. 10/10 - would stay again!

Bronzeville is known for being the area where many famous musicians were born or raised and performed.

The unit could easily be a stand alone apartment. Open concept. Tall ceilings and a cozy electric fireplace for winter nights.
The shower has 2 heads! Everyone who has stayed shared loving the layout.
