Dakota Trail Cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin within walking distance to Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills. Enjoy the convenience of not having to not having to find a parking space in a full lot at Old Man's Cave Park. With a private yard with easy parking. After hiking come and enjoy our 5 person hot tub on a covered porch. We offer an outdoor fire pit with a gas and charcoal grill. The cabin has 1 deck and one covered porch with outdoor furniture. A 40" smart tv with satellite tv and wireless internet for your enjoyment. Enjoy a gas log fireplace. A full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware and a full-size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. WE ALSO HAVE A SIMULAR CABIN , (STARR VALLEY ) WHICH IS CLOSE AND(PONDEROSA) ON THE SAME PROPERTY. Pet fee of $50.00 per stay,please don't forget to check ✅ the box. (push on the box that says Travelers ,then pets come up

Hot tub was wonderful, very clean and ready to use. Cabin was beautifully decorated, well furnished with all the necessities. Very clean and beautiful area. Away from other cabins, you could hear the other guests a bit, but did not see them. Dog friendly and plenty of room for them to run. Definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking during the day. The cabin was clean and roomy enough for the rwo of us and our golden retriever. Enjoyed our afternoons by the fire pit. We would stay there again. Very convenient to thectrails.

This cabin is so cute and cozy! It’s also close to everything! We used to stay in another cabin but decided to try Dakota Trail cabin. We were pleasantly surprised! Loved the decor at Dakota and the choice of either a soft bed or firm one. Very comfortable mattress! We slept so great and enjoyed the scenery and amenities.

Good communication from the host. Fire pit is too shallow and we were nervous about sparks flying with all the dry leaves on the ground so we opted to not use it. The drive to get to the cabin needs a culvert put in at the “creek”. Fortunately my car sits higher off the ground and we did not hit bottom. Nice little place in a very convenient location! Comfortable beds and adequate cooking supplies. Hosts were great with responding to questions/needs. Would stay there again.

Cozy, rustic cabin in a GREAT location -- just a short drive (or walk) from Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills State Park. Very close to SR 664 but far enough away for privacy. Loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Enjoyed a campfire too. Highly recommended!

It was cozy and quite comfortable. We met one of the owners as we had a small issue with one of the asppliances and he was quite nice and was quick to address the issue. The cabin was quiet and in a beautiful location. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year, making this an annual getaway. Thank you to both of you for making it a wonderful stay.

The hot tub was great, we used it a lot during our 2 night/3 day stay. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay. We asked if we could get in early as it was a 3 hr. drive for us, we were able to get in 3 hours early, that was fantastic!!

The cabin is located in a very beautiful area and offers plenty of privacy, which we really appreciated. However, the grill was broken and didn’t feel safe to use. Also, there were no insect screens on the windows, which made it uncomfortable in the evenings. The cabin itself is cozy, but a bit outdated and would benefit from some updates.

The cabin was clean and simple. Exactly what we needed! Being so close to Old Man’a cave allowed us to get there before the crowds that take over after about 10:00 am. It made our time hiking SO MUCH more enjoyable. Grandma Faye’s just down the road made sure we got all the things we forgot to pack. It was really easy to find the cabin and the directions from the hosts were detailed and easy to follow. The wifi was a nice bonus in an area with spotty signal. The hot tub was in great working order and the perfect place to be after a long day of hiking or to start the day as the sun came up. Cabin was stocked with the essentials like bath towels and toilet paper and paper towels and coffee cups and chairs for the deck, which was also a huge bonus. Highly recommend for a hiking weekend. Only suggestion I have is that in the warmer months bringing a fan for the bedrooms may be nice since the a.c is stationed in the living room

Great location, hot tub was amazing and the cabin was nice. The host responded promptly with any questions I had. The only negative for me was the grill. Could use a new grill and it also had a wasps nest under it that we had to kill to be able to use it.

This was the perfect place to stay for a getaway to Hocking Hills. The location was great, and the cabin was spotless. We appreciated having coffee supplied as we forgot to bring any with us. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to stay here again in the future.

We LOVED the cabin and the location. Patrick & Hannah were outstanding hosts! Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a medical emergency. Hannah was MOST helpful in getting us the info we needed to get back home quickly and safely. Looking forward to booking a return trip to Dakota Trail Cabin!
